It was peaceful and relaxing. The staff and other guest were polite and inviting. The food selection was great and fresh. Id most likely return and recommend this hotel to others in the near future.

Having never stayed at a Residence Inn before, we were pleasantly surprised! The hotel was very clean, the room was large enough for 2 adults and 2 kids, and the best part was that they continued serving breakfast thru closing time as long as people were there to serve. Most other hotels that offer full breakfast would stop serving a half hour prior […] to closing so that you'd be stuck with whatever was left. The indoor pool looked nice although we didn't have time to use it. We were visiting to attend a wedding and found the location to be extremely convenient. I loved staying in the one bedroom suite. It was almost bigger than my apartment! The pool and exercise facility were great also. Freindly service, this hotel gets a 10 in my book. :)

I really like this hotel, especially the one bedroom suite. It is very comfortable and the breakfast is pretty good with lots of choices. The kitchen is nice to have on longer stays. There was toothpaste in one of the bathroom vanity drawers along with some facial hair clippings. The floor in the pool area was also dirty. My only issue is that with the location and the fact I don't drive I was very dependant on others to get places and I wanted to walk to places but discourgaed to do so, not because of the location just because of the lack of pavement and lighting in the surrounding area. First room smelled horribly like cigarette smoke. The smell hit you in the face as soon as you opened the door. Second room smelled somewhat better but not smoke free. I requested a 7am wake up call. I started getting calls at 5am. After the 3rd call I was awake enough to call the desk. I only got 1 more call. Upon check out the desk showed I had requested […] a 5am. I also heard that this hotel now houses people and did see some children playing in the hallway and running back and forth. I travel very seldom so I'm not sure if this is the way hotels are run now. Room design is terrific to provide an apartment feel, delivering a more "at home" atmosphere. The rooms are basically clean, nicely appointed, not run down...good comfort for the money. The suite was particularly a good value.

Everything was wonderful, but when I booked this via HOTELS.COM, I was unaware of an exorbitant pet fee.

After reading a few not so good reviews, I found the hotel to be nicer than I thought. Staff was friendly, contiental breakfast was good. It has been a while since I stayed at a Residence Inn. The value for price is amazing. Big room with large couch and desk. Breakfast and dinner served daily. Laundry for long stays. Front desk staff and shuttle service very accomodating. Our baseball team stayed here over Memorial Day weekend for a nearby tournament. Not a single complaint or "gee, I wish ..." from the parents - just the opposite: super clean, comfortable, great kitchen areas, great location, and the staff were absolutely wonderful. Everything about the Hotel was amazing! From the crisp clean smell of the sheets. To the water pressure in the shower! You could walk to this awesome Italian restaurant. The staff was great! My husband and I plan on staying there again!

This is my second stay at Residence Inn and I will sure go back when I'm around the area again. The room is very clean and the kitchen has everything that is needed for those of us who prefer to cook than eating out. The only thumbs down is for the pool. The water was filthy dirty and had no smell of chlorine.

We stayed here for 3 nights while visiting some family in the area. We have a young child so I figured that having some kitchen "stuff" and some more room to move around would be a good thing. I didn't realize just how well equipped the kitchen would be. Full-size fridge, dishwasher, sink, stove, and microwave. Plus a whole set of utensils and silverware. […] It was a huge help in taking care of our baby. The rooms themselves were fairly big. The bedroom wasn't huge but it was big enough. The kitchen/living room was very spacious. The bathroom was nice and had the sink separated from the shower for greater convenience. Everything was very clean and well organized. holstville ny location clean, right off road, and as alays a marriot in service loved it!

The picture showed a fireplace and was disappointed there was not one in my room when I was under the impression from the picture of the room there would be. However, the room was very clean, comfortable and spacious and made traveling with small children easier. I would use again. They had round the clock fresh coffee which was a definite plus!

Dissapointed my 2 month reservation was not in order at check in & not happy with leaky water from A/C in my room. And not satissfied with the lack of cust service at the end of the night. No discount etc for our trouble.

The breakfast was very good, but the unexpected was having a simple evening meal which was complimentary as well. Nothing extravagent, but great for kids that saved us from the cost of an evening meal.

We were able to visit some of our family in our suite, after dinner in one of the nearby restaurants. Another night the young grandkids had a sleep over on the sofabed. Plenty of room for all of us. We used the pool once, but the second time a small child had an accident, & we opted to not go in.

When we first walked into the hotel room, all the cushions were off the couches and the cabinet doors were open. Other than that, the room was bigger than I expected, it had everything we needed.

Room was very clean, the guest services were that of a 5 star hotel. The breakfast in the morning was that of a quality diner, except it is free. Next to restaurants and a huge movie theater. We will stay again on our next vist to the Island.

We were extremely satisfied with all of the aspects of this Residence Inn. It was immaculate- both the room and the public areas. The staff was polite and helpful. Our room was well appointed and comfortable. The complimentary breakfast offered a hot meal as well as the usual continental type foods- all well prepared. Thank you for a great stay. Prima logeerplek met keukentje en eenvoudige kookgelegenheid. Ontbijt inclusief is goed verzorgd. Alleen de bedbank had een erg slechte matras, waar op onze aanvraag meteen een bvevredigende oplossing voor is gegeven. Wij hebben een prettig verblijf gehad.

Et bra hotel med forholdsvis grei frokost med helt ok beliggenhet. Gratis mat på ettermiddagen var et stort pluss. Ligger ca. 30 minutter fra nærmeste strand med bil. Kan anbefales.
