Great Hotel. I met the owner - great guy really interested in customer service, organics and going green. The room was clean and beds very comfortable. The breakfast is good with organic coffee, belgium waffles and real maple syrup. He has even installed an electric car charger and salt water pool! We were here for a quick weekend trip. We had low expectations of the place: figured we'd save $ on our motel so we had a few extra bucks to spend on the weekend. The room was dirty, the walls are thin so you can hear your neighbors and the people outside, the TV has some fuzzy channels, and the batteries on our remote ran out. All that was somewhat […] expected. But what made the place miserable was the bathroom. It was gross, smelled like smoke, had stains on the walls and cracks in the tile. The handle to our toilet was broken when we arrived. They fixed it the next day when we were out. When I stepped into the bathroom to use it, though, I stepped into a giant puddle of water. Apparently when they fixed the handle, they caused the tank to leak. When I went to report it, they sent someone to fix it right away, which was nice. But when I complained about the cigarette smell, the manager told me not to turn on the bathroom fan because it will blow smoke into the bathroom, and to roll up a wet towel and stick it near the door to prevent the smell from coming into the room. I couldn't believe that answer. Especially because the bathroom fan is on the same switch as the light. Was I supposed to take a shower in the dark so it didn't smell like cigarettes? My accommodations were fine. The property is not new, but it has been upgraded to a very good condition. The walls are not soundproof, but there was very little traffic or neighborhood noise. I would happily stay there, again.

The staff were all really nice. The room was nice, and even though I could see the highway from my room - I couldn't hear it at all !!!! I will definately be staying here again - probably in about 3 months, actually.

I was originally given a room that smelled like smoke so was relocated to another. The bed was very comfortable and I had a great night sleep, which I was a little surprised by because of how close it is to the freeway. I would probably stay here again.

I specifically asked for my room to be cleaned by the owner, for that matter, and still did not happen. Even though I made it very clear I wanted it cleaned. It seemed like she was trying to talk me out of it. But you Ukiah is sort if a small place and the motel is just a couple blocks away from everything.

The bed was clean and comfprtable. there was plenty of hot water and the shower pressure was fine in the clean bathroom. I would stay overnight again.

the man at the counter said i dident have a reservation eventho i had my confermation in my hand all he wanted to do is argue with me. i had to call my sister and have her talk to him since she is the one that made the inital reservation, i am handicaped and had traveled a long way to get there and was very tired and just wanted to lay down. the room […] was ok but the guy that checked me in just kept ranting about this country and in his country this and that. no i will never stay there again! The hotel is right off HWY 101. There is a restaurant, not affiliated with the hotel, right in the parking lot. Even though the hotel is close to the highway, I could barely hear any road noise in my room, and I was in a building closest to the highway. The wifi had a strong signal in my room. When we checked into the hotel, it had been raining in Ukiah for a couple of days. So that may be the reason, why the room smelled awful! We had to spray a lot of the deodorizer, but the smell did not go away. I hope it was not mold.

Very nice Hot Tub and good Continental breakfast. Some freeway noise in the rooms but not terrible.

We stay at this hotel about once a year. This was our 5th or 6th stay. It is comfortable and clean. The rooms are large and have the amenities we want. The sound-proofing is fairly decent so the proximity to the freeway is not a problem. We generally don't use the free breakfast because we like lounging around Schat's Bakery downtown. Our other two favorite eateries, Ellie's Mutt Hutt and the Chinese vegetarian restaurant at City of 10,000 Buddhas are close by. Our only complaint this year was being told that we had to vacate the room so housekeeping could clean before leaving at noon. We were greeted by a very friendly desk clerk. The room was clean and comfortable. The hotel is near the freeway, but very quiet. The extended breakfast was very good. They are eco friendly, a real plus.

I was disappointed with this hotel due to the dirtiness of the room and the condition of the bed and bedding. I know it's a budget hotel but I expect a clean bathroom, new towels, and clean sheets and this hotel did not fit the bill. Booked and paid for 2 nights but left after one night for another hotel.

For the price we paid it was ok. I wasn't happy that when we got back to our room at 11:30pm it hadn't been cleaned. It was pretty disappointing to not have clean towels, beds made, etc. We called the front desk to see if we could at least get some towels and the manager said he didn't have the key but could get us a couple pool towels. My room was spacious. The bed was a little soft for me. The air conditioner was not working properly, fan would go on and on and slow down. I unplugged it and used the circuit breaker but it didn't improve. I told the front desk clerk in the morning and he did apologize. I was so tired, I still slept ok. Ukiah is a weird place, with all the homeless […] and vagrants but I work there so it's a challenge to find a reasonable priced place without too many undesirables. Exceptional! Everything was well above the norm for a chain motel. Quiet, clean and green! The gentleman running this Super 8 obviously enjoys what he does. All other motels should aspire to be this good.

For the price, this hotel was worth it. The room was big, with a microwave and refrigerator (rarely do you get that in this price range). With the exception of the carpet, the room was clean. For being so close to the freeway, the room was extremely quiet. I would definitely stay here again!

Easy access from freeway, close to all the ameneties you will need, friendly staff, nice room and fast internet access. All in all a great experience much better than you would expect for the money.

Our experience at this hotel was good, my only complaint was that they advertised a heated pool, but the water of the pool was way to cold to even get into no matter how hot it was out, and we had been looking forward to spending some time together in the pool. This was a very nice hotel for the price range. The bed was comfortable with lots of extra pillows. Granite counter tops in the bathroom. Very Clean room. Staff was helpful and friendly. No road noise from the highway. Nice mom and pop diner in parking lot.
