Bathroom vent had 2 inches of dust hanging. Very hard to adjust the room temp to a stable temperature. Tub didn't drain well. Nice location, very good and convenient neighborhood.

The hotel itself is very easy to find and get off and on from 131. The hotel itself was clean from what we could see. We were there only long enough to sleep (12AM to 9AM), so can't say anything about the extra's. The room was nicely furnished and clean. About the only problem we had was the bed as to firm and lumpy. Maybe it was just luck in getting […] that particular room. We not use to sleeping on a firm mattress and kind of hard to change rooms that late at night/early in the morning. We were very impressed at how nice the hotel was. We will definitely be staying there whenever possible.

The walk ways and parking lot were not cleaned of snow during my stay and I almost fell when going to my vehicle. The TV kept malfuctioning. The screen would go red/with lines. They had no bread for toast at the free breakfast. The room was nice and roomy, but the pillows were to small and too soft for me.

CON:There were hairs in the sheets and hairs in the bathroom. PRO:The pool and pool area was nice.

We were very pleased with this hotel. We were traveling down the west side of Michigan, and needed a hotel for one night at a decent rate that would allow us to bring our dog. Comfort Suites South certainly fit that bill. The price was reasonable - even with the pet fee, it was still less expensive than many other hotels we considered in the area. […] The room was very clean and spacious, and the bed was very comfortable. The only mechanical issue I noticed was the side entry door that we used. The door had been bent, so it no longer latched.
