We loved it so much the 1st time that we decided to go back. We literaly park our car when we get there and we still havent gone outside of the resort. The water parks are great with heated pools and we just eat at the restaurants in the resort. So convinient, and we have nothing to complain about the two diferent size rooms we have had. The staff was wonderful. Indoor waterpark saved our trip....mother nature was not cooperating. I booked a great rate though hotels.com $34.50/per night. The room usually go for $119/per night! The location is quiet and family oriented.

First impression was "just okay". There were chips in tile floor entry-way to our room, there were food crumbs on the loveseat, a Kool-Aid carton and Pringles lid on the floor by the air conditioning. Easily remedied, but shows poor attention to room cleanliness. The plastic mattress cover caused an uncomfortable sleeping temp, as it held in body heat […] and caused the bed to feel damp. The TV is awkwardly placed. The bathroom was clean, but be prepared for a "warm" shower, because the temp couldn't be adjusted to dispense hot water. By day three, the room "grew on us", ONLY because the ocean view is priceless. The staff is very helpful and very friendly. This is absolutely a "family" resort. Many children, lots of noise and crowded facilities. Not the place for a "romantic getaway for two" (unless staying during off-season). The resort hosts 2 towers and splits the amenities of "coffee shop", gift shop and exercise facility. The 2 resorts are not joined and does not offer a covered walkway between them. We had to walk in the rain to get coffee and use the gym in the 2nd tower. Additionally, the parking garage is across the street. There is good dining and shopping within a reasonable distance both south and north of the resort. We "may" stay again, but only during an off-season when the resort is more quiet. อ่านเพิ่มเติม

Very good ,staff very helpful,At first we we're given an upgrade but the chairs and sofa where very dirty and stained so they gave us what we had booked and it was very clean throughout and made our stay very enjoyable A nice location away from the husle and busle of the Boardwalk area

We spent 6 nights and overall we really enjoyed our stay. Dunes Village is a very nice resort and would definitely stay there again.

Everything was amazing! My only complaints are that the parking deck is across the street from the actual hotel and our door would not open but we had been given another room in a matter of minutes!

This was our first time in myrtle beach and in this hotel. We have a 4 month old with us and we were nervous about the resort at first. We were very pleased with this place! Very family oriented. Though the decor was a little outdated, the room was very clean and the kitchenette was great since we needed a Fridge for the milk. We were able to make ourselves […] breakfast each morning since we couldn't go out while the baby was napped. The front desk were very polite and helpful to us especially Tina when we checked in late at night. The location was beach front and it was perfect for us to just be able to walk to the beach! It was only a few minutes drive to the boardwalk and broadway at the beach. The only downside was that the parking was a block from our tower...although it was secured. We only stayed two nights on our way to Naples, Florida but had a relaxing time there. Beach was awesome and the pools were nice. Had good lunch in the Captain's Quarters. Good deal for the money.

The staff especially housekeeping was excellent. In addition, the room was very clean and spacious with a wonderful oceanfront view as expected. Plus, the hotel was full of family friendly amenities and had a restaurant onsite both which had wonderful hours. The location of the hotel was convenient to the convention center and we wanted even more time […] to really take advantage of all the amenities and peaceful surroundings outside of our event. As a result, we are making plans to come back to this hotel for a family vacation despite a few issues. One issue was that upon checkout we asked for a late checkout but were denied due to the hotel “being very busy”. Though a clause was printed stating that late checkout was at the discretion of management, it would have been nice to not have been rushed out at 11am (regular checkout time) only to then wait in a crowded lobby to checkout. Our event was schedule later that evening at the convention center on a day already cold and wet, and it was obvious that other guests, in-town for the same competition, were in the same situation. Also, our toaster and dishwasher did not work, which was not a big deal to me on such a short trip. However, a member of our party insisted on making breakfast and lunch for the grandchildren and the dishwasher was an issue for her. We stayed 5 nights in the queen angle 1bdrm. Everything was great. The room was very clean, it was quiet at night and the surprisingly the pillows were not flat. My only minor complaint was the bed was firm. We stayed during spring break and the place was very busy. The pools were always crowded but our children still enjoyed them. The staff were very friendly. Rooms were clean and the location was great. The only complaint I have is we kept getting advertisement pamphlets from solicitors slid under the door all day. So when it came to relaxation time it kept disturbing us.

The stay was ok. This hotel is mostly for families with children. Was sort of disappointed when we did not see a spa that was listed on the website and in the hotel layout. If i visited this hotel again it would be with my kids instead of a romantic getaway.

Perfect place for our 3 year old!!! The pools were clean and warm and there was always clean towels by the pool. Very close to restaurants and attractions! Will definitely be staying here again! Hotel staff were very nice!

This hotel is wonderful. The angle view 2 bedroom has a 180 degree panoramic view of the ocean, beach, city, skywheel, and magnificent sunset. The decor is luxurious and comfortable. The hotel wonderful year round as the 2 indoor waterparks have so much to offer, we barely got it all done in a week. Just indoors they have 4 water slides, a great lazy […] river, more jacuzzis than I can count, pools, a great splash park, and a great baby pool with tons of water features. Also indoors are 3 ping pong tables, 2 billiards tables, shuffleboard, and Wii. They have a year round kids clubs with 4 or 5 events daily, some require a small fee for craft supplies, but at least 2 were free every day. We went in early March to escape the misery of the Ohio winter, and enjoyed every second! The beach was practically empty, and we saw dolphins in the mornings, live star fish, sea snails, and several different types of crabs on the beach (which we threw back into the water) and there were tons of shells to collect. We played putt-putt, enjoyed the swings, and sunned ourselves on our balcony. The building is well designed and the balcony is protected from the wind, so its warm and sunny even in the winter. Weekend with my 40ish girlfriends. We chose this resort because it was Oceanfront and had 3-4 Bedroom options. Children and families everywhere not really a party weekend atmosphere. So when they say family resort they mean it. The parking situation is very annoying which causes chaos for loading and unloading items. Was referred by a friend to stay here. Our family arrived on Thursday February 21, 2013. The weather forecast called for rain during our stay and we were grateful for the indoor water park, which was phenomenal! The kids really enjoyed it and there are 2!!, one in each building. One geared more for older kids and adults and one for families. The room […] layout was ok, I would prefer a bedroom toward the back or in the middle of the room. It is difficult to sleep when all you hear are neighboring vacationers going in and out of their rooms. We arrived to find the room neat and cleaned. The carpet is filthy, but that is common in hotels. We were missing our shower curtain and I called "guest services" twice to get another, eventually had to flag down house keeping to get it the next day :/ The evening we checked in, we were walked in on by other guests checking in who had received our room # & keys as their room. NOT COOL! Let's see..Oh yes and whatever you do, don't order the chili from the Captain's Cafe! It is chili from a can...GROSS, the service is great and the food service staff are very helpful in person. Hotel was really great for the kids. Loved being right on the ocean. This was one of the best hotels we stayed at. Only down fall was I was suppose to have 2 bathrooms in my oceaan front suite and only had 1.

We stayed for a weekend get-a-way. But, this place would be great for a FAMILY Vacation w/kids. It has a very large HEATED INDOOR water park w/ slides. It snowed while we were there and kids and adults alike were playing in the water park like it was summer.

We travel to this hotel a lot due to the family environment and the in-door pools. The room we had this time was good. However, in the past, the room condition was ok. The staff tries their best to keep the rooms cleaned however the hotel needs to renovate more often to reflect the high traffic of hotel guests.

We enjoyed our stay the first time a lot more. This stay we were woken up at 4:50 in the morning by the fire alarm and were made to go downstairs to the lobby with the rest of te guests. These things happen but no one was given an explanation just sent back to the rooms. It was also very cold so bundling the little ones up and down the open corridors […] when our keys were wrong twice wasn't much fun either. Not bad 7 of 10 Room was dusty , sheets had a stain, overall room was nice and seemed to be newly furnished. Parking garage was a block away, across street. Kids loved the two indoor water parks and activities. My daughter decided to swim and they don't have clean towels after 40 minutes waiting they still folding the towels. The heater on the water slide broken. The fire alarm went off 5 o'clock in the morning and there's no explanation or anything and they just said that they don't have any control over the alarm. It was really bad.
