Great place to just get away. The beach is nice with wonderful soft sand. Recreational water activities always available like jet skis. Very nice pier to just go for a walk. The area is beautiful, and private.away from the crowds, yet convenient to the Tampa and Sarasota areas. This propertyhas great potential. Room 213 where I stayed was dirty to the point of disgust. some prior guests made love on the bedspread and left the evidence behind. You definitely need a car ,as this resort is a bit out of the way. The grounds were well maintained. The hallway of the hotel had old,dirty carpet,and needs updating. The junior suite was small for three people. We enjoyed having a partial kitchen. we thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the resort. it is a place to relax and unwind. the beach and harbour are brilliant. you can see dolphins in sea as you stand on the jetty. would go back again no problem

This is a cute little resort, but the area is a bit run down and dated. The rooms really need some attention and updating. The staff were great and I had no complaints with the service. To be honest: the surroundings were gorgeous and the tiki bar / restaurant on the bay fantastic. BUT...a dirty room and a roach the size of a tennis ball crawling IN MY BED just couldn't be compensated for. We checked out early.

We booked 2 rooms, 1 had a smell of smoke( not a smoker..Yuck), the other was great, the staff was very accommodating, the grounds were well lit and full of activities( except the children"s playground, which consisted of a chain link fence with a gate, no slides or swings???), the pools were fun, the beach clean, the bar and restraunt was a nice touch. […] Loved the atmosphere! We were, unfortunately, disappointed with this stay. There were things listed on the hotels.com website that simply weren't there. The website states that rooms have windows that open up. Ours were fixed so the only way for airflow is to open your door, something we didn't want to do for security on the first floor. The website states that beds have […] premium bedding, high-speed internet, flat-panel TVs with premium movie channels and free movie channel. Our room did not have these things as our beds felt very hard, our TV was a regular TV on a little stand, and wireless was only on common areas, not in your room. We were also told by customer service that all rooms in this hotel had a waterview. Our room was called Junior Waterview Suite! Our room faced a parking lot. When the shower didn't work, this was the last straw so we brought all of these issues to the employee at the front desk. She said that the hotel was having problems with websites stating that all the rooms have certain things. She said that some rooms on the complex have these things, but not all. She said the websites have a reporting system that doesn't allow them to state that some rooms have some things and other rooms have other things. They did give us another room on a second floor that had a waterview the next morning which was nice. Just so you know that both rooms we were in had tiling on the floor with an area rug. This place was so cute and clean!! Private beach was nice, water was dirty wouldn't swim in it. Lots of manatees !! We drove to St. Pete beach twice it was only 20mins away and it was beautiful! Would come back and stay again! Neat little place!

This resort is off the grid, so if you want quiet and laid back - you get it. It's really in the middle of nowhere with a private beach, water toys (kayaks, wave runners, etc), happy hour all day at the tiki bar. Very friendly staff. If your looking for a hotel that has nothing within walking distance and only thing there is to do is walk around a hotel campus that is less than a 1/2 mile long then this is your place. From the minute we first arrived we were welcomed with a guest services person telling us that our room wasn't ready yet. Then once our room was ready we find out […] that they put us in the Inn side of the hotel not the Suite side like it listed on the web site. Beware that you get the correct room upon check-in they don't want to help you get the correct one once your in your room. Now let's get to what is included with the room you get a bed and a balcony that are okay but the view is a joke. But also you get a kitchen with the room and let me warn you not to use the toaster. Me and my fiance put some toast in the toaster and went to watch TV 5 minutes later we look over at the kitchen and the toaster is on fire. The room filled with smoke and the fire alarms sounded all over the building. The hotel sent a maintenance man up to our room with a fan but they were not even close to giving us a new room they told us to deal with it. So to sum it all up the resort is older than any other hotel I have ever been in within the United States and it needs some work to get it to be a place to visit. They never told us that you need a car and because of our age we can rent a car. We only lasted a day and half there before we asked for a full refund and moved to newer hotel in St. Pete. If your going to visit and are under the age of 50 be sure to stay in Tampa or St. Pete to make sure you have a good time. But the only thing I can say about the hotel that was great was the staff at the Sunset Grill Bar Jenn was great and make sure you get to know her cause she is a great bartender. อ่านเพิ่มเติม

Found this unique gem on hotels.com at a fantastic price. When I arrived, I was upgraded to a junior suite because my reserved room type was not available. Great room with a comfy bed. Enjoyed the private beach with beverage service available nearby at the outdoor bar. Good service from the staff. Would highly recommend it! This property is not central to anything; it is located in an "Old Florida" part of the state- plenty of RVs and mobile homes surrounding the property. It is secluded, however, and clearly was a vision of a resort much more upscale like a Kiawah or a Hilton Head. Unfortunately, it was a vision not realized. The room was okay- it was an old hotel which […] had been renovated. The towels were ragged and the cold water didn't work in the bathroom. The beds were very comfortable, though. We had some interesting experiences in the restaurant/bar. The first night, we saw a bar brawl in which some poor guy was decked and bled all over, and an ambulance was called. The one who threw the punch ran away on foot. The entire staff of the restaurant and bar ran outside to the bar to witness the action, and the diners were all left untended, and uninformed. The second night we went, the gas in the kitchen went out, so that after we placed our order, we were told that no hot food was available. Our waiter was extremely patient and informative. We left without dinner. And there is nothing else in the vicinity. The management of the restaurant/bar on both nights completely broke down. Needless to say, we didn't give it a third chance. So I wasn't sure I was going to say anything but since you sent me the request to rate the hotel, I figured I would just be honest. When I arrived, my bathroom wasn't properly cleaned and it took two requests to finally get it cleaned. To their credit, the manager offered me a complimentary breakfast, which I wasn't sure I wanted after what happend later in the evening. So because it's Florida and I was on the first floor, I excused the first two bugs I saw crawling on the tiled floor. But then when I stepped on a few during a 3AM trip to the bathroom and got creeped out by the rest that were crawling around, I finally requested a different room, which they eventually obliged because they were completely booked. However, the next morning when I got up and heded to the bathroom, I realized it too hadn't been cleaned, this time from some construction work they'd apparently done. And by dirty I mean drywall dust all over everything. All over the towels, the soaps, the counters, the lights, everything. All this and I still had to ask several times to get my money refunded, which they eventually did once I recounted the everything to the morning manager. Would've been nice if someone had left her a note. I do have photos but they don't have place to post them so I guess you'll just have to take my word for it. The hotel is tucked back off the hwy down residential streets. Our room had a front patio area which was nice but previous visitors' cigarette butts littered the planter. Tile floor with large throw rug. Rug felt grimey to feet and turned white socks brown. Even tile floor revealed dirt when water wiped up off it. The worst thing though is that in their room & hotel policy it states nowhere that if you pay with a debit card they place a hold on your account until you check out for incidentals. Our 3 night stay was prepaid before we arrived yet they still held $160 from my debit account. This trip was on a tight budget and having to wait for the money to be freed up caused unwanted stress on this vacation. I experienced this same policy no where else that I stayed on this vacation. If this is the way they want to do business it will never include me again. The only highlight was a little italian restaurant called Alpha Pizza Pasta in Apollo beach. A very relaxing place to stay. The beach is beautiful. The rooms are nicely decorated and immaculate. The resort is secluded and private. We received a room upgrade and stayed in the harborside building. The harborside building has its own pool, hot tub and gas grill. We used to bbq several times during our stay. We were a bit disappointed with our room initially. It was called a "Junior Suite" but it was really a 1960-era motel room that had been refurbed with a microwave, fridge and dishwasher. It was one medium-sized room (plus a small bath room inset) with two queen beds and no divider of any sort. The TV was poor, an old CRT model, but the cable channels […] available were good. The free Internet service was spotty: sometimes good - sometimes terrible. There was no wireless, only an Ethernet connection. After a couple of days we got used to the facility and it started to grow on us. We decided that putting up with the so-so room was a fair price to pay for the nice beach, nice environment and nice location. This was probably the best vacation we have ever had. It was pleasantly self contained and quiet. We loved the people we met and the staff was very nice. My husband caught a lot of fish, which made him very happy. I could lounge by the pool while he fished. The resort is just beautiful and well maintained. This hotel is located on a peninsula with Tampa bay on one side, and a small tributary on the other. The setting is beautiful, and with just a little work, this hotel would be 5 star. We enjoyed our stay at this resort. No many restaurants in the area to eat at. The maid service and cleanliness was excellent, however, the front desk help was less than friendly.

This motel was great. I had a room around the back but on the water where there was a lot of sea life--dophins, pelicans,etc. It was nice to be able to sit outside and watch all the activity. This was an older motel so don't espect 1st class accomodaions. However, there's also a nice restaurant walking distance and it was excellent.

I paid for the Deluxe Waterview Room and got the basic double room. When I questioned this they realized the mistake but made me feel stupid for even mentioning it. They are supposed to be taking care of it through Hotels.com??? We will see. 2/11/2010 Room 606

room needed serious cleaning and maint. hair in bathroom, sand on floor and in door tracks, darkening curtains melted, lamp shade covering cracked, bayview not much - slim sliver. disappointing for a resort.

Ok so we stayed for New Years Eve. Had friends out for outside party. Here are our negatives first: 1. New Years Buffet was over price! All people in our party felt this as well. (but it was New Years Eve and the food was pretty good I got to say). But we were not disappointed because it was New Years Eve. 2. The party was outside with a band and DJ. […] Chairs were limited and it wasn't very crowded. The DJ was not too good. He jumped in his music to fast and it was hard to stay on the dance floor, The Band was great and made the night for us. (Remember it was New Years Eve) So I will say sitting hasn't been an issue on other visits of our and the food is always great. The Goods: 1. They didn't jack up the drink prices! 2. Great fireworks at Midnight! 3. Room was clean and very nice. It over looked the bay and what a great view of the sunset. 4.Everyone (staff) was first class and we had no issues. 5. We took the family (kids 3 & 7) to the Tampa area for the Outback Bowl on New Year's Weekend and stayed at the Resort and Club at Little Harbor for four nights. Room was clean and modern, staff was friendly and competent, pool and beach were okay though not very large. I would call this an "upscale economy" resort...if you want four or five star accomodations, […] restaurants and service, then this is not the place for you. But if you're a couple or family on a budget, this is a great little place a bit off the beaten path. The onsite restaurant and beach club/bar are nothing special, but convenient. Just 25 minutes or so to downtown Tampa and St. Petersberg, though there's very little to do locally. If you go you should definitely eat at The Circle Restaurant in Angel Beach...great food and atmosphere at very reasonable prices for the quality and service you get. The view out of the room balcony makes up for everything!

Terrific place to stay if you need to be in the area. A little off the beaten path, but if that is what you are looking for then this is a nice clean, quiet, comfortable spot to spend some time. No extra charge for stellar sunsets.

When visiting relatives in the retirement communities in Sun City Center, FL, be sure to stay at Little Harbor. Great place to go to if you're not planning on going anywhere else but stay on property. Too far from the city if you want to go out at night but not if you want to go to the city for shopping or dining. Staff was wonderful and their Sunday brunch was great.

My husband and I stayed at Little Harbour after a day of Mountain biking at Alifia State Park. The resort was exactly what we needed, peaceful, quiet and with a nice restaurant on property. The next day we went mountain biking at Balm Boyette Preserve. The resort is conveniently located and a wonderful retreat from our active days on the trails.
