We went to San Francisco to go to a giants game... There was free parking which was a bonus so we left our truck at the hotel and took the bus to the game.. which saved us 30 dollars... the bed was comfy and the room was nice and neat

i have a medical treatment once a month. hotel is a good location for me. quiet, clean i'll stay here every month.

We live in the neighborhood and had a plumbing mishap necessitating our stay. Was able to book a room last minute and checked in shortly after. Our room was spacious and clean, we enjoyed watching the flat-screen TV from our King sized bed. I was pleasantly surprised to see a gleaming bathroom. Good budget hotel in a great location for seeing San Francisco. Parking available, which is good for a city centre hotel. Good value, comfortable but noisy on the outside rooms.

Good location for getting around San Fracisco. Main Road position, so some rooms noisy. Good value for money. More like a Motel though. Parking available which is unusul for town centre hotels.

Its like cheap motel for not so cheap prize.

My daughter woke up to bed bug bites. Someone was smoking outside and we could taste the smoke coming through our door. Not comfortable or secure. Stay somewhere else

Great location in downtown San Francisco

This 1960's era facility evidently had some upgraded finishes within the last 10years. Staff works hard to keep clean. Bed was adequate, but not great. Some noise from the neighborhood late at night, but then again it was St. Patrick's weekend. Parking is free, but "tight" for larger cars.

They have only cable internet ! The rooms stink Try the elevator, you will be surprised !! I can not give a single star to them. NEVER NEVER will go back.

Everything was ok.

Best part of the inn is its free parking. At night it is easy to miss the driveway to the parking. The stairs are not clean and the elevator is old and scary.

Excellent option for cheap accom. with free parking.

Got the room and have stayed here before. Front desk gentleman was helpful as always and room was clean, spacious and bed was comfprtable. I didn't hear any noise that other guest have mentioned and parking was available with no problems even though I got in very late from a night of fun in SF. good hotel to sleep in with free parking

The evening clerk was rude and difficult to deal with,not helpful at all. I was giving a hard time in regards to my service dog even though I had my service dog card with me.I was unable to get any extra wash cloths or extra covers for the bed. This hotes was a terrible experience. You can hear. Absolutely every thing that is hapining out side and in adjacent rooms. The front desk people are unprofessional and very rude as well as manipulative. The location was decent and the parking was great but the hotel itself was not up to par. I didn't pay a ton to stay there so I wasn't expecting the Ritz but whoever gave this place a 3/4 out of 5 star review was sorely mistaken. The street noise was the equivalent to having a freight train passing through your room all night. The room just felt dirty […] based on the looks of the bedding and carpet and the walls were super thin so if the street noise wasn't enough to keep you up all night, your neighbors tv surely would. Weather turned fowl in the mountains so Plan B, off to SF for a few days but meant we had to book a hotel within 48 hours. This one was convenient, easy to book, off-street parking appreciated but with limitation (come earlier), staff were friendly, helpful on local knowledge. Inn on Broadway is centrally-located but not very noisy, considering lots of car traffic. Members of my family have stayed here several times in past month and found the rooms to have extra space, parking to be adequate and room rates reasonable. Unassuming, no frills but perfectly adequate for a short stay and very reasonable price.

It's nice to find a good neighborhood hotel in San Francisco that won't break the bank -- we'll return here for sure!

We just needed a place to sleep, and that is what we got.

The hotel was alright. I wasn't expecting anything more than what was described in the hotel website. Nothing fancy, but good enough. My only complain was that house keeping probably sprayed a entire can of lysol or some other kind of air freshener when cleaning the room. The room smelled bad. We could hear all the noise from other rooms and outside. Parking was terrible. I would not recommend this place.

Who ever wrote positive reviews on this one must've never stayed there. The only good thing is the free parking.

Great simple hotel. Free parking and accessibility to your vehicle. They were cool with a late check out, just had to ask. Nice trusty staff. My camera ended up in the lost and found. Cool neighborhood- Polk street night life

I left my room to go out at about 10:30 at night to find my car was blocked in by two rows of cars which completely blocked the one-way driveway and blocking in 4-5 other vehicles as well. The night desk person, juggling numerous sets of keys, proceeded to move the necessary vehicles and 10-15 minutes later, I was on my way. I returned around 1:30 am. […] to find no available parking spaces on either the street level parking or the lower garage level parking area, with a few cars parked under No Parking Ever signs, making maneuvering my small Honda very tricky. After finding parking on the street about two blocks away, which required I get up and move my car at 6:00 am or get ticketed, I asked the desk person why there were no spaces available yet the hotel seemed barely half full. He said that they sell monthly parking spaces to local residents. I was expecting a female friend to be stopping by my room this particular morning. I answered a knock at my door to find my friend, accompanied by her boyfriend. I opened the door and invited them in. Not two seconds later, the room's phone rang. Leaving my guests in the vestibule-like area inside the door, I answered the phone. It was the General Manager, […] Rahil, asking if I had a dog in my room. I said, "No, I don't have a dog in my room". He said he just saw one enter my room. I asked what was he talking about, to which my friend advised me that her BF had her chihuahua in his backpack. I told her to get the dog out of the room and returned to the phone conversation with the General Manager. He had to have heard me telling my guests to get the dog out of the room, and I said I didn't realize they had a dog with them, I was only expecting her, and that the phone had rang so immediately upon their entering the room that I didn't even have time to notice the dog in the backpack. He responded by saying, "But you did have a dog in the room!" I told him the BF had just stepped in before the phone rang, the dog never left the backpack, and in less than ten seconds, the dog was out of the room. I said obviously he had been watching my friends to see what door the knocked on, he dialed my room immediately and should have seen the BF and dog depart at once. I told him I had no idea they brought a dog with them, and it is no longer an issue. He again stated that no dogs were allowed in the rooms. I said I know that, there is no dog in my room and it will not be allowed in. He once again said there was a dog in my room and they do not allow dogs. I said I know this and hung up. I had housekeeping in to service the room an hour or two later, tipped the housekeeper $10 and thought nothing of it until the next morning when I received another call from the Gen Mgr asking if I had a dog in the room.
