Hotel 1929 - สิงคโปร์

Singapore hotels are very expensive and this is no exception. It is not as expensive as most hotels but the rooms are very small although clean. I had a double bed which just about filled the room and a nice shower/toilet/sink all in one. Not much room but maybe that is all you need. Staff very friendly

I had a very enjoyable stay at Hotel 1929. The hotel room was small, but well planned as to the available space, although a light above the bathroom mirror would be a welcome addition. The staff was very friendly and helpful at all times. The location of the hotel was ideal, with the MRT close by. Small but adequate room, staff very helpful, excellent breakfast, ideal for short stay but would upgrade room if staying for more than few days.

The service of the hotel was not as good as expected. The room room can hear the noise from the corridor too.

Fun little place with nice retro furniture. Got the deluxe room which was located in the corner of the hotel and had sufficient room for 2. This is a great hotel. The Eople are so friendly, the rooms are comfortable and quiet, and the location is near subway and Chinatown. When they say the rooms are small they are being true. The smallestest room I have ever been in but it all works.if you travel with large bags this is not the place for you.

Great location. Nice old building. Warm service. It's a good choice to stay for visiting Singapore.

Standard room is very small, no space for luggage, de lux room slightly bigger, suite is normal size double room. Breakfast is modest. The hotel is clean and personnel frendly and helpful.

It's not expensive by Singapore standard, of course you do get tiny rooms. As long as the size doesn't bother you much, it's a great choice. Bed is comfy, staff nice and helpful, location very good - 2 MRT stations nearby.

The location of this hotel was really great - within Chinatown but a block away from the centre so it wasn't too noisy. Unfortunately whilst the decor was great, the comfort of the actual room was not so good. We booked a deluxe double based on the some of the previous reviews we had read. Unfortunately the deluxe double was still very small, and had […] no windows that we could see out of. We booked this hotel based on location and the fact that it had in room wifi (which were both excellent) as these were our main criteria, however due to the combination of room size and lack of window, I would not recommend this hotel. Hotel 1929 has a great location, very near MRT Outram Park, Chinatown market... The staffs are friendly. However, the room is rather tiny, not suitable for family travel.

Hotel 1929 is not you typical flashy hotel. It a samll hotel with great staff and a great location. Great breakfast in the morning and great value. Close to china town markets and MRT Rail system. We all had a great holiday and the staff were always willing to help with our requests

We only had two days in Singapore so we had to make the most of the time we had. They also helped us map out our day so we could enjoy everything we really wanted to see. They also made sure to tell us restaurants to go to, to eat certain things we'd read were musts in Singapore. They also would recommend a back up in case our first choice wasn't available for our time frame. For a quick trip to Singapore, we feel like we really got the most out of our time there. This hotel was very nice, and very reasonable price per night for Singapore. We knew that the rooms were going to be small, however prepare yourself for Asia's version of small rooms. My single room was preposterously small. It was difficult to get around the bed to get to the bathroom. The air conditioner and television should have been on opposite walls: The television could not be fully viewed from bed, which was the only place to lie or sit. The air conditioner was positioned to blow air directly onto the bed. The sink was connected […] to the toilet in such a way that when the sink in one room was used, it would loudly drain into the toilet in the adjoining bathroom. We took 2 rooms for 3 nights then later another night. Hotel 1929 is in the 'chinatown' area, which is not overcrowded and not over-priced. The hotel is just 5 mins walk north of the Outram park MTR (2 lines) and we could always get a taxi by walking 2 mins down to the main road, so pretty convenient for transport. About the rooms, well, this is singapore, […] and the rooms are not big! If you are two people both with massive or multiple suitcases, you will probably struggle, unless you take a twin room over a double. But a double was perfectly adequate for two of us with small cases (additionally there is not really a wardrobe, and no minibar, although there is a safe and a mini-fridge). The rooms were bright, comfortable and well planned, very clean with good AC, consistent hot water and everything else worked too. There was no street noise as it's on a side road. Overall it suited our needs just fine :-) The staff here are the real stars though - so friendly! They really seem to enjoy working there, and it shows in how they treat their guests, very helpful. The breakfast buffet is not over-complicated, but it's just enough of everything, so they hit the balance just right. The restaurant is called Amber, and every evening it was full with locals, so obviously popular, unfortunately we didn't have chance to try it... NEXT TIME! Hotel 1929 has more soul than the usual 5 star hotels which reach into Singapore's city skyline. Yes the room was small, but over all the bed was really comfortable and the room efficiently used what space there was. Great, unique place. Room could be a bit bigger but wonderful design and very comfortable bed. Generous breakfast, and WiFi (bit slow) included.

This is a lovely boutique hotel, friendly staff, but beware the rooms are quite small, so you need to be a bit creative with your luggage storage.

Für kürzeren Stadtaufenthalt zu empfehlen (hatten größeres,dennoch knapp bemessenes Zimmer). Umgebung und Metronähe angenehm.

sehr gute Lage (in Fußnähe zur MRT); gutes Frühstück; allerdings sind die Zimmer nur sehr klein

年末年始にとまりました。 部屋はせまかったが、こじんまりとしていて、きれいだった。 駅からあるいて数分の距離で近くにコンビニもあり。 Wifiも完備されていたのは良かった。 部屋の壁に小さい蟻が数匹歩いていたのは少々びっくりしたが、 暑い国ということで、よくあることなのでしょうか。 また使用したいと思ってます。

Ett alldeles utmärkt litet compact-living hotell. Bra läge och fullt godkänd frukost. Ljud från gatan kan av vissa upplevas som störande. Öronproppar rekommederas. Jan från Sverige

Riktigt modernt hotell i bra läge i chinatowns utkanter med närhet till en del bra restauranger och utställen. Rummen är dock riktigt små, fri golvyta är ett fåtal kvm, så det är inte tal om att kunna packa upp resväskan.

距離outream park MRT站5分鐘腳程, 步行到牛車水也是10分鐘左右, 附近有不少餐廳及酒吧. 酒店設計舒適乾淨, 雖然房間有點小, 但整體很滿意.

Rummen är små, men mysiga. Det är rent, fräsch och har välfungerande AC. Personalen är trevlig och hjälpsam. Hotellt ligger bra till, mittemellan två T-banestationer så det är lätt att ta sig runt. Rummet i minsta laget för två personer. Bra sängar Ej prisvärd frukost men trevlig personal.

Rommene er små, men godt utnyttet så 2 voksne hadde det ganske komfortabelt på rommet. Rent og pent hotell. God service og fin beliggenhet. Lite utvalg på frokost, men det vi fikk var ok. Nærhet til sightseeing buss.

싱글룸예약했는데 디럭스로 업그레이드 해주었다고 했는데....정말 방이 너무 작아서 이건 모텔도 아니고ㅠㅠ 화장실 화장대 다 침대랑 딱붙어있음. 기본어메니티도 적고 룸 컨디션도 깨끗하지 못한편...침구에 얼룩이랑 머리카락이 ㅠㅠ 부티크 호텔이라고 해도 전에 머물던 스칼렛과 차이가 많이 나서 조금 실망...혼자가서 하루정도 자기에는 저렴하고 나쁘지 않음. 아이팟 도킹오디오있고 와이파이 무료로이용가능하고, 차이나타운, 오트램파크 역에서 걸어서 5분이내라 위치는 괜찮음~직원들도 친절한 편이고.

Was upgraded to a suite upon arrival for two nights of a three night stay. Very attentive and helpful staff. Positives: close to MRT station and Chinatown, good quality beds. Negatives: The rooms that open out to Keong Saik Road tend to get a bit noisy in the evenings as the hotel is located at the edge of the red light district. 2人で、二泊しました。outram park 駅が最寄りの駅で、ｾﾝﾄｰｻにも乗り換えなし、オーチャードにも1本でいけます。 交通の便がとっても良かったです。 なにより、マックスウェル　フードマーケットが近く、やすくておいしいものにたくさんありつけました。 ホテルのチェックインや、朝食も大きなホテルではないので、待つことなくよかったです。 ホテルは大通りから1本中へ入ったところなので、大道理に出ればタクシーもすぐにつかまりました。 もしホテルの場所がタクシーの運転手さんに伝わらなければ、マックスウェルフードマーケットはだれもが知っているそうなので、そこにおろしてもらえるとホテルまで5分もかからず歩いて帰れます。 部屋はとっても狭いです。日本の狭いビジネスホテルのような感じです。もし2人で行 […] って二人とも大きなスーツケースならば困るかもしれません。ですが清潔で2泊目もベットメイキング完ぺきでした。 次に行く機会があればまた利用したいホテルです。 อ่านเพิ่มเติม

Allt mycket trevligt och vänligt, personligt och serviceinriktat. Litet och nyrenoverat, pedantiskt städat. Toppenläge centralt i Chinatown där möjligen enda nackdelen kan vara tidig och sen aktivitet runt hotellet. Dock nya fönster med viss ljudisolerande funktion. Härlig atmosfär med god frukost för att vara i denna del av världen.
