avoid this hotel it shouldn't even be proposed on hotels.com not even called caribean world locally only known as "dar nawar" so took ages to find then no parking space dirty and dangerous nothing good in there dont go there!!!

This is a good hotel for a family with small children, good pool with slides and beach activities. The food is not excellent, but acceptable and the staff of the hotel very helpful and nice. The hotel is a bit far from the center of Tunis,but taxis are always available outside the hotel and the trip into Tunis not very expensive. This hotel is not near anything, but if you are happy to use the ammenities provided then you will be well catered for. Note when arriving that locally the Hotel is only known as "Nouar" and not Carribean World. The swimming pools and private beach are very good. The food provided is of a reasonable standard. The moorish cafe was very pleasant, serving […] Tunisian tea and Turkish or Arabic coffee. The 'animation' was a little over the top for my family's liking as they preferred to do their own thing and not to be organised. The hotel has many sporting facilities (archery, crazy golf, French bowls, beach volley ball, etc) including many tennis courts, however there were only three tennis raquets to borrow and so in practise only one court could be used at a time unless you had your own raquets. Note that a 10 euro deposit is required if you wish to borrow anything (balls, raquets, etc). All in all my younger children (8, 10) enjoyed being 'all inclusive' very much, but the older two (12, 14) found the hotel too removed from the real Tunisia and a bit artificial. We enjoyede a two day stay here after two weeks travelling around Tunisia, and for us that was enough. Any requests we made of the hotel staff were taken seriously and dealt with immediately. Transport to the hotel is either by taxi, or there is a direct hourly bus service (no. 18?) from the ferry port in La Goulette. It connects with the TGM from Tunis, but it is better to get off in Sidi Bou Said as the bus stop is close to the station. Bon accueil, chambre spacieuse et confortable, bon rapport qualité/prix, le buffet est peu changeant.

hotel à detruire!!! et reconstruire!!!! équipements (climatisations, sanitaires, serrures, lampes etc...) hors d'usage...depuis longtemps... chambres sales, sanitaires douteux, hotels(allées , alentours etc..)tres sales, papiers, déchets,cadaves de bouteilles un peu partout... bref une catastrophe...meme sans exigence particuliere, cet hotel n'offre […] meme pas le minimum... อ่านเพิ่มเติม

super hotel ,une animation formidable et marrante ...les piscines attractives surtout celle du tobogan . FORTEMENT CONSEILLE !

Jaarlijks gaan wij naar tunesie op vakantie Deze keer voor 3 weken naar mahdia in heel goed hotel toch wilden we ook eens de hoofdstad Tunis bezoeken , daarom hadden we vanuit belgie 2 nachten geboekt in Carribean world gammarth. Daar hebben we de schok van ons leven opgedaan toen we na het avondeten terug naar de kamer gingen krioelde het in de badkamer […] van supergrote kakkerlakken voordien hadden we ook al de sterke rioolgeur waargenomen in de kamer maar aangezien we daar maar 2 nachten zouden slapen zijn we daar niet verder op ingegaan. Na het zien van die enorme beesten hebben we toch onmiddelijk onze koffers gepakt wij noch de kinderen wilden daar niet meer overnachten. ons uitstapje naar Tunis is zo in het water gevallen en ook ons voorafbetaalde verblijf in het hotel Carribean world gammarth voor 2nachten all-in.Diezelfde nacht zijn we nog teruggekeerd naar Mahdia wat voor de kinderen zeer vemoeiend was. อ่านเพิ่มเติม

Hôtel qui a changé de nom, le vrai nom est Dar Naouar !!! Donc très difficile à trouver, même les tunisiens ne connaissent pas City1 !!! Énormément de moustiques dans la chambre, la clim ne fonctionne pas, le technicien vient à 2 heures du matin... el hotel es muy oriinal muy colorido. es viejo pero muy mejorado en su aspecto externo. la habitacion con 2 camas diminuta, la habitacion con cama doble y un divan esta muy bien. doucha muy buena, buena potencia del agua y caliente a toda hora. higiene de la habitacion asi nomas rapidito por donde se ve mas, no ir a mirar a los rincones restaurant: […] no vale la pena pagarse el all inclusive, la cocina esta gestida por muy muy jovenes cocineros ( ami parecer solo stagiaires) y la calidad de la comida es lamentable, se ve que hacen un esfuerzo pero no vale la pena. en el restaurant se encuentran con mucha suerte 3 camareros que corren limpiando mesas pero los manteles solo se cambian despues que toodos los huespedes se han ido, lo que da posibilidad de comer sobre un mantel limpio a menos que te levantes bien tempranito. siempre hay que estar reclamando servilletas, cuchillos cucharas, platos etc alla inclusive: Catastrofe!!! un solo bar all inclusive gestido de UN solo barman SIN servici self service, o sea, colas increibles para pedir un refresco y por ahi hasta te lo sirven en un vaso mal lavado y tienes que recomenzar la fila. Catastrofico!!! espacio exterior, 2 magnificas piscinas limpias y una para ninios, con toboganes para todos reposeras parasoles, realmente muy muy bonito. animation: bastantes animadores, poco espacio en la discoteca pero los muchachos se esmeran. en resumen en una habitacion triple en 2 persnas se esta muy bien, hay que pasarse en la playa (muy bonita) o en la piscina alquilarse un auto y ir a unos kilometros a la Marsa a comer bien y por poco. o sea hotel para dormir, lavarse y disfrtutar de la piscina. อ่านเพิ่มเติม

Tres bon acceuil, chambre propre, grande piscine, bonne nourriture mais dommage qu"il n'y ai pas plus de choix au niveau des sodas, jus de fruits et des plats! Hotel un peu éloigné mais taxi pas cher! Personnels agréable....je recommande cet hotel!

pour le prix la restauration surtout le petit dejeuner etait pas top pas de fruit ni de diversite tout le temps la meme chose .Seul point positif la piscine et lhotel est a proximite de tunis gammarth marsa et sidi bousaid.

L'hôtel se situe près de l'aéroport ( compter 10 dinars le trajet en taxi environ), Les chambres sont de petits bungalows indépendants réformés récemment et bien entretenus- à part la douche un peu vieillotte). Le cadre de l'hôtel est agréable, une piscine assez grande autour de laquelle se concentrent toutes les activités. La formule all inclusive […] est appréciable, les plats diversifiés et de bonne qualité, possibilité de se restaurer dans divers points de l'hôtel, boissons à volonté ( à part les bouteilles d'eau payantes) Le personnel est très chaleureux et travaille quasiment non stop toute la journée, idéal pour les enfants. La plage se situe en face de l'hôtel et diverses activités y sont proposées également (payantes). En revanche la distance de l'hôtel avec la ville de Tunis ne rend pas son accès facile (possibilité de prendre un bus pus un train), EVITER ABSOLUMENT LES TAXIS EN FACE DE L'HOTELqui vous annonceront des tarifs absurdes quelque soit votre destination, marchez un peu plus haut et prenez en un sur le bord de la route en exigeant le taximètre. Hôtel calme en cette période. Parfait.

bon hotel bien situé en bord de mer. Tout est fait pour que le client se sente bien et consomme hotel. L'acceuil, la reception, le sysyteme de bracelet"credit" est bien fait. Les chambres sont correct et propre. Compter 10dinar le trajet aller aéroport/hotel en taxi.

pratique car près de l'aéroport, accueil sympathique avec bonne équipe animation mais restaurant très moyen (équivalent cantine) avec un système all inclusive très peu pratique (impossibilité d'acheter une bouteille d'eau) site propre et entretenu
