The hotel still has some kinks in it and not everything works as promised. My safe broke as soon as I put items in it and after trying for several hours to fix it with my items being held hostage and after bringing in a new safe thy gave up and in the evening allowed me to change rooms. Internet at the hotel is pretty lousy and unreliable. Once more than a fe people are on the network it becomes unusable. Hotel is outside downtown Geneva but the are busses across the street. Certainly value for money! Big nice, clean room, with comfortable bed, great pillows very nice and friendly staff, close to amenities - shopping ect.

It was really a great stay at ramada...i would 100% recommend this hotel..

Travelling by public transport makes this a difficult hotel to find unless you do some research beforehand. It is at the rear of a shopping centre surrounded by factories and railway sidings on a main road out of Switzerland. I telephoned the hotel when close by and the person I spoke with could not give me directions. I asked if their was a tram stop […] nearby and he said 'No' but did not say that there was a bus stop outside the hotel. I asked people passing by and eventually one knew the place. The door to my room only closed when a lot of force was used and on the first evening I returned to find that the cleaner had left the door slightly open! The room was not properly cleaned on two days. The staff could also do with some training in manners. Difficult to access. Reception not reachable by own drive car - only by taxi unless car park is used which requires additional 10 francs. Tourist tax was not incoluded in the all-in price of the room and had to be paid separately. Being in a convention centre/stadium complex, there were all night lights shining that could not be entirely blocked out […] by curtains. Hotel was chosen as near to airport for a 7:00am flight. Convenient location with friendly efficient service and an excellent breakfast.

We enjoyed our stay. Hotel staff were friendly and very helpful. Room was more quiet than we expected given it location on first floor. Hotel was easy to get to via tram and bus routes. Located next to large shopping mall, which was handy.

the staff were friendly and helpful, English speaking, the hotel provided us with travel cards, the hotel is outside the city centre its about a 15 minute bus journey and the bus stop is outside the hotel. My only fault would be the directions from the airport were not good. Breakfast was not included.

Clean establishment, next door to soccer stadium and mall. Rooms small by American standards. Location 5 bus stops from downtown and airport

We came into Geneva through the train station and it was about a twenty minute tram ride to a stop sort of near the hotel then a ten minute walk to the hotel itself. After two nights of travel to get to Geneva we felt wonderfully received and assisted by the hotel front desk. We were pleased with our very clean, contemporary room. The front desk provided us with a map, directions to take public transportation downtown and a 24 hour complementary card to access it. The Ramada Encore Geneva is located inside a shopping mall, which contains clothes shops, a grocery store, a bowling alley, and much more. The hotel room is very clean and room service comes every day and does a great job. Two minutes from the hotel are two bus stops. The hotel gives free bus and railway tickets. My only gripe with the hotel is that they charge for parking, per day. They also charge extra if you would like a fridge in your room. Also, the AC cannot be turned below 17 degrees Celsius. I am told these three things are typical for European hotels, so maybe I am wrong. Breakfast at the hotel was also extremely expensive. I would recommend this hotel to anyone on a budget. Modern, but not too hip, in appearance. No iron in the room (needed to request it from the front desk, and there was no ironing board.) Hypermodern shower stall took a little getting used to. This hotel is a very good value! The only reason they are probably able to discount this compared to its rivals is possibly the location? You can easily take a bus to and from the hotel, but maybe it is due to the fact it is near a stadium. I really can't think of any other reason, because our room was AMAZING! Loved it, and very roomy!

Nicht zufrieden waren wir mit der Betriebsbereitschaft der Hotelbar. Als wir am Dienstag, den 1. November 2011 um 22.35 Uhr ins Hotel zurück kehrten, war die Hotelbar mit einer Kordel abgesperrt und bereits geschlossen. Unerfreulich war ebenfalls eine ärgerliche Diskussion beim Ausckecken. The hotel was clean and the room included all the basic needs with tea kettle and air-condition. Hotel is not situated near the city center but we got transport cards for free and it was easy and fast to take tram or bus from the hotel. 駅から遠い。公共交通機関のフリーパス券をもらえた。冷蔵庫、インターネットは有料。使用した部屋はバスタブ無、シャワーのみ。シンプルで居心地のいい部屋だった。

Hôtel trop loin du centre ville, assez mal desservi et l'arrivée fut catastrophique suite aux indications approximatives du bureau de tourisme de la ville de Genève. A déconseiller à ceux qui n'ont pas de voiture.

Der Empfang im Hotel war nicht überschwenglich aber freundlich. Auf unsere Fragen hin erhielten wir die gewünschten Antworten an der Reception. Die Lage des Hotels ist okay wenn man Besucher eines Eishockey Matches ist zum Beispiel. Ansonsten ist das Hotel eher ausserhalb der Stadt gelegen. Allerdings befindet sich die Bushaltestelle - mit einem direkten […] Bus ins Zentrum - 2 Minuten vom Hotel entfernt. Das Hotel liegt direkt bei einem Shopping Center und unmittelbar neben dem Stade de Genève. Das Zimmer war sehr ruhig und sehr modern eingerichtet. Geschätzt haben wir auch das moderne Badezimmer und die Sauberkeit.Bei einem Anlass in der Nähe würde ich dieses Hotel wieder buchen. Très bon accueil, chambre très propre, rien à redire si ce n'est un petit déjeuner qu'il est possible d'améliorer en terme de qualité des produits proposés, ce qui m'a paru un peu léger à 23CHF. Das Hotel liegt etwas ausserhalb von Genf. Mein Navi hatte etwas Mühe die Adresse zu finden. Das Hotel ist mit Carouge angeschrieben, liegt aber in einem Shopping Center in "La Praie" Nun ja, mit freundlicher Unterstützung vom Rezeptionisten hats dann geklappt. Das Zimmer ist einfach, aber stylisch und sehr sauber. Gerade richtig für mich und meine […] Tochter. Die beiden Einzelbetten waren bequem und ebenfalls, wie der Rest, sauber. Kein schmuddeliger Teppich, dafür aber schöner Parkett. Auch das Bad mit Dusche ist klein aber fein und sehr stylisch. Alles in Glas mti einer ""walk in" Dusche. Guter Fön etc., alles was man braucht. Parkgarage im Haus ist auch zu empfehlen und mit einer Tagespauschale von CHF 10.00 ok. Frühstück für 23.00 pro Person würde ich nicht nehmen und habe ich auch nicht. Scheint mir zu teuer. Lieber das Auto nehmen und nach Genf hinein fahren. Dauert ca. 15 - 20 Minuten, je nach Verkehr. Dafür kommt man aber auf der Seite von "jet d'eau" raus und ist direkt am See. Wer eine oder zwei Nächte in Genf bleiben will ohne den Anspruch zu haben im Zentrum zu logieren bekommt hier für wenig Geld ein mehr als ausreichende Unterkunft. Da ich am Samstag nach einem kurzen Spaziergang an den Automobilsalon wollte, wars wirklich perfekt ! Kann also nur empfohlen werden, denn die paar Minuten Autofahrt ins Zentrum ist ein Klaks. Bezahlt habe ich für ein Doppelzimmer mit mener Tochter und 2 Betten CHF 149.00 exkl. Parkplatz und Taxen. Alles Zusammen war dann so ca. 165.00. อ่านเพิ่มเติม

Bra och fint hotell relativt centralt inom Geneve. Verkar vara ett slags konferenshotell brevid idrottsstadion. Köpcentrum ligger alldeles brevid med massor av stora affärer. Lite krångligt att ta sig till hotellet med allmänna transporter. Spårvagn + ett bussbyte. Brevid hotellet ligger en trevlig pizzeria med mycket smakfulla runda skapelser! Hotel bien entretenu, nous avons été surpris par la vie nocturne de Carouge avec Bar,restaurant, pub en contraste avec le calme de Geneve.

très bon séjour malgré la difficulté qu'on a eu a trouver l'hôtel, il faudrait un panneau car on a tourner pendant 20 minutes >.< sinon accueil chaleureux, personnel très gentil, chambre très propre mais dommage que pour le prix, le déjeuner ne sois pas offert et qu'il y ai beaucoup de chose qui sont des "a coté"

The hotel's location was really hard to find, however the rooms were clean, large enough and the beds were comfortable.
