Stayed here for 5 nights, rates were good but initially concerned about location. However easy shuttle buses available to airport & TST eased those fears. hotel was very clean and rooms very big by HK standards and staff were very helpful and spoke excellent English. This hotel is good, the pirce is reasonable, friendly staff and very helpful. It is clean and next to the shopping center. It is located close to MTR station. I stayed twice at this hotel. I would definitely recommend this hotel to my friends.

My wife and I stayed here for 2 days over the New Years holiday. Overall we were very satisfied with this hotel. Location-wise it's a little far from HK airport and Kowloon, but this is overcome by the hotel's shuttle bus (to airport & Kowloon) for very reasonable rates. You could also take the public transport, with metro bus and MTR train station […] literally outside the hotel entrance. We were quite impressed with the size of this resort hotel -- 2 towers and total of about 1100 rooms! The hotel was very affordable for its class (it had a 5-star feel to it). The hotel staff was friendly, courteous and very helpful. In fact, they helped us with directions, train/bus routes info, planning some sightseeing activities, and booking a guided sightseeing tour for us. The only "complaint" we had was with the flush in our bathroom. We got a room on the 21st floor of Tower 1, and the toilet flush handle had to be worked a few times before it would flush properly. We complained once and the housekeeping came and fixed it, but even after that, we had to put some effort to get the flush to work properly. Very comfortable. We had deluxe room with expandable sofa, king size bed and kitchenet. The price is very low for such comfort. The only bad was the location - very far from everything. It will cost you extra 40 minutes for MTR (west rail line) plus 10 minutes for Light rail (soft of tram) - line No. 705 which stops in front of the hotel. This hotel is practically very far off from main city and you waste your time in travelling. No room service and very few choice of food.

Almost perfect experience. The one blemish was an inability to get the in-room safe fixed so we could use it - not for want of trying! But great location, great value for the price and easy taxi distance from other parts of HK.

The Hotel is nice but a 40 min tube ride to downtown. The internet connection was a pain. Otherwise it was a great stay...

The hotel is located 1 and 1/2 hours by express bus (you can use your Octopus card) from the airport--no free shuttle service. Hotel service was pleasant and helpful. One small bottle of drinking water was provided.

On my way to Jakarta, stopped here for the night...on time pickup by shuttle and swift check in...lobby a little noisy but room was quiet...would definitely stay there again...35 minutes shuttle to airport...

The overall quality of the hotel is good, although there can be big groups checking in which results in waiting for the elevator. There is breakfast available but do not expects too much of it. The distance to for example Kowloon is app. 45 min by public transport.

Attention: Budget Travellers! If you want to spend your money more on shopping than accommodation, want a comfortable stay and don't mind a bit extra travel time to the city, then look no further because Harbour Plaza City Resort is the BEST hotel if you're after the above. Trust me, I researched all the cheapest hotels e.g. YMCA, Anne Black, USA […] Hotel, Silvermine etc.. and none compares to HPCR when it comes to room size. The Hotel has spacious and clean rooms, excellent well-maintained facilities and superb customer service- you will absolutely get 5 Star experience on a 3 Star budget. After a tiring day's walk in and around Kowloon & HK, I always looked forward to relax and retire at my spacious and well-appointed Deluxe room. Transportation is very convenient. Bus terminal is only a two minute walk and MTR, just across the hotel. Take bus 269B to go Tsim Sha Tsui, bus 969 to Causeway Bay and E34 to the airport. Tavel time takes 45mins to 1hr to the city but hey, while you're there, enjoy the travel & sights of suburban high-rises of HK! There is a shopping mall beside the hotel, a cinema and a nice garden park just at the back. The hotel is quite far from the city center, usually take us around 1 hour go to to central, and involves taking a light rail and change MRT once. However, we usually dont mind it since we have 2 weeks stay in HK. Very clean and luxurious. Subway station across the street. Mall next door to hotel. Staff speaks fluent english. Great view from the upper floors.

Did not remind us the swimming pool would be close under typhoon signal no.3.

good hotel at reasonable price

It is a good deal & comfortable stay...Hong Kong is a small place & everything is in small size. We were put in a bigger room with the 1st check in; nice view, spacous room with kitchen utility, free internet but not the 2nd check in after a trip to China.

this hotel is not expensive and good quality .good for family .the terms are flexible when it comes to chek out and chek in the staff is very cooperative and very clean surroundings across the road there is LRt station which can connect you from rest of the city .i always stay at this hotel

Spent the night here for a weekend getaway. We were lucky with the weather, first hot sunny days in Hong Kong in 2011 (two in a row!), so we really enjoyed the pool. i super love this hotel, room is bright, big and cheerful and equipped with a big fridge, stove and microwave oven. It is very accesible to the light rail and the mall beside it has a lot of stores and a big supermart. In the mornings i can walk around the garden trail and it's amusing to see the eldery folks exercising in groups. In my experience internet was not avaialble in the room - only in the lobby area.

The service is excellent, they allow early check-in (we checked in at 10 am). The price is reasonable, but for the room you get, it's fairly inexpensive when you compare it to the other hotels located at Kowloon or HK Island. We had a family hotel suite for the price of a cheap hotel room. It had a sofa and a mini kitchen with a microwave. The location didn't matter a bit as the MTR (metro train) was only a HK$20, 5 mintue taxi ride away. No problems at all.

A little off the beaten path but lrt and subway connections close by. Easy to use public transportation from airport to this location. Room was adequate but value for the price.

Positive 1) Overall Habour Plaze Resort City was a good value for money hotel to stay in. 2) For the price I paid, it has good facilities, the rooms are big and clean. 3) There are a few Chinese Restuarants at the shopping center next door, so food is not a problem. Dim Sum is also easily available. Negtive 1) However, it is too far from city centre […] like Central, Hong Kong etc. It takes 1 hr 15min at least to travel from the hotel to these places door to door. 2) It is too inconvenient to go anywhere. 3) I had to pay HK$80 for airport transfer. It is not free. 4) The hotel is not located at Tin Shui Wai MTR but I need to take a lightrail from there to Ginza. 5) The Ginza Shopping Centre is hopeless. The only familiar shops inside are Giodarno and Bossini. If you have reason to be on the north side of HK, then this is an excellent hotel choice. It has a robust exercise room and massive outdoor pool, as well as tennis courts. A nearby local shopping center meets some needs including an excellent dim sum restaurant. Rooms are large and on higher floors the view is wonderful.

The front desk clerks let people smoke in a "No Smoking" section of the hotel. I made four complaints to the front desk clerks and they did not take the necessary actions to stop those people from smoking in the "No Smoking" section of the hotel.

THIS HOTEL WAS EXACTLY WHAT I WANTED,IT WAS CLEAN,THE STAFF WAS PROFESIONAL,AND THE SURROUNDINGS WAS ALSO GREAT ALTHOUGH ITS IN A RESIDENTIAL NEIBOURHOOD. this is away from the terrible tourist areas and next to the greatest park we've ever seen. The pool is excellent and the staff are incredible. Not for those afraid to be the only non Asian on the block, but for anyone with a little adventure, this is the place to go. The hotel is top notch! Robes and slippers and no haggling or European food!

入住的时候办理入住还是很快的 但是没想到退房的时候更快 没有任何停留的就退了 而且酒店的服务也是相当出色的 小孩子不小心打破了一个玻璃杯和折断了一张门卡 酒店都没有要求赔偿 况且还额外安排到了有厨房的房间 真的是非常不错

Afgelopen maart (2012) heb ik met mijn zoon in het Harbor Plaza Resort City geslapen. Het is een prima en schoon hotel. De afstand naar het centrum is een dik half uur. Maar het hotel heeft een shuttle bus. De kosten hiervan zijn ca. 2,50 voor een enkel ritje. Ook vanaf de luchthaven kun je met een shuttle bus van het hotel naar het hotel komen. Kosten […] hiervan zijn 10,00 euro. Duurt ca. 3 kwartier. Prima geregeld dus. De kamer is schoon en de grootte viel me niet tegen. Goede badkamer met ligbad en douche in het bad. De bedden zijn wel kei hard. Dit hotel is aan te raden maar let wel op de afstand naar het centrum toe. Je gaat niet even snel vanuit het centrum terug naar je hotel en dan weer naar het centrum toe.
