We moved to Pasadena but still have friends in Sonoma and family in Pleasant Hill. Benecia is the perfect midway point, right on 780 with easy access to 680. The complimentary breakfast included eggs and sausage, a real plus compared to the usual fare one gets at La Quinta and similar chains. My wife and I ate at Sandoval's (Mexican) in Benecia, coffee […] at the Java Cafe, good main street for walking, and wonderful to return to such a comfortable room at the Best Western. Stayed here while visiting family in Vallejo. The staff is over the top friendly and helpful - can't do enough for you. The rooms are large, nicely decorated and immaculate. Will definitely stay here again on future visits.

Great for the price! Everything clean as a whistle and pleasant staff.

We enjoyed our stay! Darlene, at the front desk was kind, professional and informative. The bed was a little firm for me but otherwise a very comfortable stay!! We will be back for sure...

I can not say enough positive about the staff and the hotel. The only negative is the quality of the breakfast. But I did not stay for the breakfast, but the room and location

We looked for a hotel that was in the Benicia area and were satisfied with the location. My only complaint with this hotel was the service that we received when we checked in. I think the woman who checked us in had to be new. She took too long in checking us in and then forgot to give me my credit card back. Then when I returned home, I realized that […] she had charged my credit card when I had already paid for the room in advance thru hotels.com. I stopped by Benicia overnight on my way from Sacramento to San Francisco, to break up the drive, just needed a place to sleep, not too fancy/expensive. Staff was friendly, room was clean and comfortable, included continental breakfast was standard fare. My only negative was that the hallways smelled a bit, like a stale smoking room (I'm not a smoker […] so I notice smells a lot). As this was the only hotel in town I was a little concerned about the quality but I have to say I was very impressed. The hotel staff were very friendly.
