The location, service and price were great - the condition was a bit tired and worn, the open whirlpool bathroom (including toilet) was odd, and the HVAC was loud and difficult to operate - but in general a good, inexpensive option.

My wife and I have stayed at a lot of Comfort Inns and have been generally quite pleased. The Comfort Inn of Waterford, Michigan provided a clean room, excellent breakfast and friendly staff. This is a suprise considering the State and community which has been hit by the economy more than most. I will stay there again...

First room, the heat did not work. Second room (they upgraded us) the heater worked, but is so darn noisy. It would blow for a while then shut off, then start blowing again about the time we would drift off, then shut off again, then start up again a minute later, etc through out the night. Aggravating. I would not stay at this hotel again

We have stayed in this hotel three times now. It suits our needs perfectly and I walk away satisfied with the price, the cleanliness and the staff's help. This time we tried the pool for the first time. I was pleasantly surprised at how clean it was and the temperature was lovely. It also had a nice little gym for those who needed it. Great pool! Convenient location to shopping area for needed items.

Over all stay was great

It was a nice stay but the heater, they should tell people how to work it. When we walked in the room it was on 60 we were freezing, so we put it on 85 and it turned off. The hotel staff was very friendly, the room was clean and my daughter loved the indoor pool.

I travel frequently on business but this was a personal trip. Brought my wife and three kids so paid more for a "larger floorplan." When I checked in to my room, I did not get a larger floor plan. I had an upgraded room with a jacuzzi tub, but standard room. I could care less about the tub but needed the extra room for my family. When I approached the […] hotel staff, they were rude, uncarring, and tried to explain that "technically, my room size was larger because the bathroom was bigger to accommodate the jacuzzi tub." They obviously think I am stupid and do not travel much. The living area was in fact smaller, because to accommodate the jacuzzi tub in the bathroom, they pushed the wall out further in the room.
