Best Western Inn at Hunt's Landing - Matamoras

Everyone was very pleasant. Bedding, linen, pillows very dated. Complimentry breakfast very good. Dining area clean. Server Barbara was very nice.

We stayed here for two nights for a volleyball tournament. The hotel was clean and accomodating; the staff was helpful and courteous.

Hotel was fine. Hot breakfast was good and make sure that you hit the Grille in Matamoras!

Our stay in Matamoras was very good. We enjoyed the pool and the grounds were easy to walk. The hotel was very clean. The complimentary breakfast more than pleasantly surprized us as they served us juice then we ordered from the restaurant menu for any breakfast wanted. Excellent service!

We were very happy with both the size of the room, the unexpected bonus of a pull-out couch and with the quality and quantity of the food at the breakfast buffet.

we took my granddaughter for her birthday and were very dissapointed that pool was closed. she was looking forward to swimming and we had to leave for another hotel so she could swim.the food in restaurant was also not as good as it had been in prior visits. In all it was a very dissapointing stay.

Staff was very friendly towards our pet puggle. Our dog enjoyed her stay as did we.

We stopped here on our way home from a trip where we broke up the driving between two days. The location was right along our route so it was perfect for us and we arrived at almost 1 am. The staff was polite enough but not overly friendly nor seemed thrilled to be there. The room was cozy. There was a large sofa, king bed, a fridge (looked like it was […] from the 70's! But it was in good condition so we didn't mind.). We didn't really watch much tv so it didn't matter that there weren't many channels. The bathroom was modern and clean, as was the area for the coffee maker and microwave. The hotel is located right down the street from Perkin's where we had breakfast and headed on our way. The room was large, and comfortable. The TV was an older model, but adequate. The only problem we had was at their in-house restaurant. We had dinner there, and it was horrible. I stay at this hotel a few times a year when visiting in laws, this is my favorite hotel in the area! First off if you book through hotels.com the price is always right! The hotel is off the main highway and close to stores, food, shopping, etc. The hotel is also pet friendly, but dont worry only on the first floor so stay on floor 2,3,4 if your not […] an animal person. The hotel is very cute, has a beautiful view of the pond and moutains in the back. The rooms are awlays clean and in good shape, the bathroom as well. Its nothing fancy but its a very nice and relaxing hotel. The staff is always friendly and helpful. Very nice little hotel with a great daily breakfast. I would definitely stay there again...

What we look for in a hotel room is that the room and bath is clean and well maintained, as we only us it for rest, not hanging out. We found the room with a king size bed to be very clean. It is easily accessed off Route 84 (exit 53 in PA), just across the border from Port Jervis, NY. The one down side to hotel was the cost of the in house restaurant. […] It (and the bar) were very expensive, given that there were options within a 5 minute drive of the hotel (The Erie Hotel in Port Jervis served a wonderful meal and had some good draft beer - literally 5 minutes away). There is also a Wal-Mart just down the road, if you need to pick up supplies. when we first arrived at the hotel we were told that our non smoking room was not available even though we had pre paid and reserved our room well over a month ahead of time. we were rudely told that our reservation did not say non smoking and there were no other options or availability in the area, that they had a wedding and that was it. i was not […] happy to be told that my pre paid and pre confirmed room was not available. i called hotels. com and they spoke with the hotel rep and low and behold we were given a non smoking room, not what we pre paid for as we asked for a king sized bed with roll out couch. then at 1:00 in the morning the smoke alarm goes off and rang forever, no one told us what was going on, people in the hall said someone was smoking where they shouldn't have been. but no one called to say that all was ok, so you worried all evening was the place really on fire? the air conditioner was so loud you couldn't even sleep and the pillows were so big you couldn't even rest well. it was the worst stay ever and i would never ever stay there again. i can't believe how rudely we were treated -- it was not hospitable at all. not welcoming, we were almost not wanted. อ่านเพิ่มเติม

Disapointed in the fitness room. Only a treadmill and eliptical. No weights or weight machines. Althought it was a very nice place to stay overall.

the only bad thin is the resterant. they have a buffet but if you oder off the alacart menue the food is iffy as far as taste. and the buffet is just to expensive for what normal people eat.

Stayed here for a week long business trip. A decent hotel at a decent price. The bathroom has been recently renovated and was very nice. The beds however, showed their age. The mattresses were stained around the bottom, no big deal, and not terribly comfortable. The room was clean and the air quality good. The lobby and hallways are very nice. The stairwells […] were dark and smelled like an inner-city parking garage, especially while it was raining. The included breakfast was excellent and the serving staff in the morning, very friendly. I have rental property in the area & stay there for a few days every year or two when I'm changing tennants or dealing with maintainence issues. Once again I enjoyed a quiet clean relaxing visit with a wonderful breakfast included & polite helpful & courteous staff. Not a glitzy place -- just a lovely peaceful country setting with all the niceities […] needed to make one's stay feel very safe & comfortable. I usually travel alone so the security & safety issues are important to me. Room clean, staff friendly and helpful. The advertise no breakfast but everyone received coupons for free breakfast buffet in the restaurand.

Wish they would have informed me in advance that the pool was going to be closed our entire stay!! My 10 year old daughter was upset about this!! Overall.. the stay was great, very quiet at night, staff was great, and the room was very nice... Just one suggestion...... Upgrade the TV's and cable provider... Very limited channels!!

There were spot lights shining into our window. So bright that the curtains were unable to be shut far enough to hide it. Blanket on the bed was uncomfortable. Pillows were small. Waited to be seated for breakfast for over 5mins since no one was at the counter. Breakfast items were not full in their containers. We only stayed one night, but everything was better than expected. The room was clean, beds comfortable, what interaction we had with the staff was friendly and helpful. Close to Rt-84 made for easy access. Breakfast was fantastic and more than expected. Beautiful view to boot. My boyfriend and I stayed for a long weekend (Friday, Sat, Sun) and decided to try the Best Western since we go up to this area frequently to visit family. We had never stayed at the Best Western since its one of the higher priced hotels. We I now know where we are staying every time we go up there! The free included with your stay breakfast is wonderful, the basics and everything was fresh and tasted good, the waffles were the best I ate them every morning! When we first checked in and lugged all our stuff up to our room we were given a smoke free room that smelled like smoke and had two double beds when I had requested a king size bed. I called down to the front desk and they were more than happy to change our room and were very accommodating. Our new room smelled a little, stagnant when we first walked in but once we turned on the air it was fine. The AC unit worked great, the bed was very comfortable, I slept just fine. The hotel was also very quite even with a wedding going on so that was a def plus considering that is one of the most important things to me when I travel. The hotel is pet friendly and at first I did not like the idea of that but they only allow pets on the first floor so if you don't like animals ask to stay on the 2nd, 3rd, or 4th floor. Our room had a beautiful view of the lake and moutain in the back of the hotel which was an added bonus. Overall very nice hotel for the area which doesn't offer much of a selection when traveling in the Port Jervis, Matamoras area, we are definitely staying here again! อ่านเพิ่มเติม

Hotel room was comfortable, but television did not work the 2nd night. Hotel hallways were not air conditioned even though it was July.

Convenient and wonderful location - stayed only one night on the way to NYC. Breakfast was excellent. Very friendly staff.

Rooms were very comfortable , pet friendly great place for a quick stay

Seafood buffet on Friday and Saturday nights was outstanding. Rooms were clean and confortable. Easy access to Rt 84. Only problem was because they were having a wedding reception at the hotel our room was next to the ice machine. Usually thats a problem but not this time. Inside the room it was fairly quiet.

Stayed here before and was suprised by the cost. Hotel is ok, but is getting a bit run down. Very good food. Beware of the area, speed traps everywhere!!!

Food at the restaurant was good and so was the breakfast.

a/c was on and off, low water pressure in shower,small fridge on floor. costly.

Compared to the other places in the area - at least from the outside, the Best Western in Matamoras PA was a fine place. It was the only actual "hotel" that we saw - the others being motor-lodge type of accomdations. Room was clean, nice pool, nice dining room.

Would recommend the hotel to others. Centrally located with lots around to do if you need to stay in the area. A few minor repair/improvements could be made to improve the hotel, but nothing worth not returning for another stay. Overall the stay was pleasant, hotel employees were polite, and the kids loved the indoor pool.
