the hotel is an easy to find area close to station square. the reason i booked this hotel was for the free shuttle service & continental breakfast. everything was great for what i needed it for!

The room was a pleasant suprise, ktichette, large room and very clean. The breakfast in the morning was excellent and the staff was nothing but helpful The gym is a full gym and the pool is extremely large.

This hotel was just before you get to the Fort Pitt Tunnel. It was pretty convenient to PNC Hienz fields. the rooms were of descent size and the cleaniness for the price was better than I have experienced in the past. The staff were nice and courteous. This hotel was gross, dirty, and not well maintained. I had to check out early and find another hotel due to people doing drugs at the hotel. The room was discusting.

All in all this hotel was a fabulous deal. Price is excellent, place is clean, room was spacious, shuttle service was a great amenity. It's not a luxury hotel, but if you're looking for reasonable prices and some extra perks (free breakfast,etc.) super close to all of Pittsburgh's attractions, it's a good option to check out.

Nastiest place we have ever stayed and we travel a minimum of 6 months every year. There was even a used condom on the floor in one of the rooms. Enough said. Thanks hotels.com for making this right.

We couldn't have asked for a better experience. Staff was very pleasant and extremely helpful I booked through hotels.com and they made a bit of a mistake but the front desk clerk took care of it immediately and even upgraded my room. this is an older hotel, however it was clean, the staff was friendly and it's very close to downtown Pittsburgh. For the difference in price from a downtown hotel, i'd pick Best Western again.

First of all the front desk staff was great!!!! other than that not much to say good. Our room ( non smoking) cig. burns everywhere, musty , had ac on in winter. Very noisy to the point someone called the cops and they were kicked out at 3am. Wont stay again !! will say front desk was very helpfull and nice.

This place is a fraud. On hotel web site and even in guest book it said the hotel had a hot tub and saauna and whril pool tubs it has neither it also said you receive free drinks . Nope. if I had known that I wouldn't stayed there reps there were very inconsiderate and couldn't answwer any questions or help with anything. We just stayed at this hotel one night so it was a perfect place-close to the highway, inexpensive, and with a very helpful, friendly staff. We selected the economic room, which was pretty small, but it worked for us since we only stayed here for one night. If you are staying longer I would recommend picking a bigger room. I called ahead to double check ajoining room status. They said no problem. I went in...said they had ajoining rooms for me...went to room, and they weren't. I went back down to front desk...she put me in a wrong room...said she would change my room because she couldn't get computer to ok original rooms on hold for us. Moved me and six kids to a second […] hotel room...which wasn't ajoining like she said it was. Manager called me and had me in tears. Told me it was illegal to have six kids and one adult in seperate rooms, couldn't do anything about ajoining rooms and made me feel helpless after I had already prepaid the two rooms and couldn't use them. Then lectured me on having that many kids with only one adult and made it seem that it wasn't a good idea to take them to the pool! To small room and very loud staff.

We enjoyed our stay at this Best Western which was convenient to downtown, IKEA and the airport. Our room was spacious and clean. The breakfast was delicious and varied. The staff even encouraged us to take something to the room for sleeping children. The only thing was the indoor pool was a little chilly for us. We will plan to come back again.

This is the 2nd time we've stayed here, as it's convenient to downtown Pittsburgh and affordable. They have a fitness room, friendly staff, and free breakfast with a great selection. We would definitely recommend this hotel and will definitely stay here again when we visit Pittsburgh.

I would definitely recommend this hotel. What I liked the most was the complimentary shuttle to various areas. The shuttle took me to the airport which saved me a good chunk being that the airport is pretty far from the hotel. The shuttle also took customers to other areas (downtown, the strip, museums etc). Fairly thin walls. Flat-screen TV reception was poor. Clean. Polite service. Smoking floor. Nesr Rivers casino and downtown Pittsburgh (less than 10-minutes by car). shuttle service available. Central booking verbally indicated the availability of hot tub, but none available.

This hotel has a complimentary shuttle service. You tell them when you want to leave, and they'll take you anywhere you want to go. THEY LIED TO US! They said a shuttle left for the casino every 10 minutes. They said they had 2 shuttles. THEY ONLY HAD ONE SHUTTLE AND WE WERE WAITING TO LEAVE FROM 7:50PM TO 9:30!!!!!! They had no organization, no lines, or names, or numbers to control who was next to get on a shuttle. IT WAS CHAOS!!!!!! We finally went to front desk and put our names […] in and THAT DIDN'T EVEN HELP! When we came back we requested a late checkout. THEY TOLD US WE HAD TO WAKE UP AT 8AM AND CALL THEM TO ASK!!!!!! JUST WHAT WE WANT, TO WAKE UP EARLY TO STAY LATER!! MAKES NO SENSE! Then they denied our request at 8am, but then when we asked again at 10:30 we got a "lengthy" one extra hour. WHAT A JOKE!!! Great hotel, everyone was VERY friendly and helpful. The shuttle service to downtown is unbeatable, really saves on time and cabs. Great idea and I would stay here again! Had a "happy hour" at the hotel bar as well where all the Steelers fans gathered and talked, watched some football, it was awesome! AWESOME HOTEL!

The room was comfortable. The breakfast buffet was great. The health club was nice, but the hot tub and the men's room steam room were not working.

Great location to all downtown events, and even better, this hotel provides transportation. Free "happy hour" with snacks, okay free breakfast. Even more important, the staff is very friendly and helpful.

A typical hotel. Some nice added features though were 2 drinks per person at the hotel bar (limited selection), and a very convenient shuttle every hour to downtown and the airport.
