Really loved it!

Clean room, friendly staff, they called the room a few hours after we checked in to see if we needed anything And If the room was what we thought we where getting Everything was good

Nice hotel nice staff

We were at Kent as our Grandaughter was beginning school at the University. Our stay was VERY enjoyable. Service and Staff were most friendly and did an excellent job. Very informative of the area and took the time to help a fellow traveler find several stores in the area. "Mark" was at the front desk and "we caught him doing someting nice". It was right off the interstate and close to our event. The beds were comfortable and the staff very friendly & helpful. Breakfast was terrific too!

We stayed 4 nights. Found the room and the entire hotel to be very clean and in good repair. Breakfast was great, with different hot choices every day. Hotel personnel were very courteous and friendly. This is a gem tucked in between some lesser hotels, hence the lower price from other area Hampton Inns.

I was extremely exhausted from a 22 hour road trip and with stops and what not, could not exactly predict arrival. That being the case I arrived 9am and knew check in wasn't until 3pm. Very nice little hotel. All appliances fully serviced. Quiet, comfortable, and clean.

We picked this hotel for its high customer ratings on our search for a hotel in the Akron area. We were there for two nights to see a concert at the Blossom Center. This hotel had a 4 out of 5 on guest ratings on all of the hotel rating websites. So I was shocked at the condition of my room considering all of the excellent guest rating I poured over […] prior to booking. The hotel looks a little shabby on the outside, but upon walking in, you can tell it has been recently updated. The hotel staff was really nice. No complaints there. Continental breakfast not bad at all. You can make your own Belgian waffles. Plus they offer scrambled eggs and breakfast potatoes. Pretty decent compared to what you normally see at a continental breakfast. Walking into our room, it seemed clean, so I can't complain about that. The lighting fixtures you could tell were new, sturdy, however they use those energy efficient florescent bulbs, which I am not a fan of. It didn't give the room a comfortable feel. And they pretty much slapped some green paint on one wall and installed a nice looking inset desk area on another wall. But soon as we laid down in the bed, which looked to have brand new and clean sheets, we realized how cheap they were. The sheets were so rough and uncomfortable feeling. My boyfriend described them as itchy. The carpet had the same feeling. Cheap and itchy on my bare feet. But the mattresses are pretty comfortable, but you can't enjoy them through the rough sheets. We had a new flat screen tv, but when we went to turn it on, the remote control was very hard to operate. You had press the buttons really hard, and then the channels were all fuzzy. We had to mess around with the cables in the back to get them to come in clear, which it finally did. So I was willing to forgive all of this, but it was the next morning when I took a shower that I knew we had to leave. The Shower pressure was horrible. We had a really, really nice stay last weekend. The hotel was clean and the people were extremely nice to us. So nice, in fact, that they offered to send something up to my parents room for their 60th wedding anniversary. The exact words were "Would they mind if we sent something for the occassion?" That was all great until I got home and checked my […] Visa account. I was charged $50. for the "something" they sent up. If I had known that it was to be charged to my account I would have declined their offer. No mention of money was made at the time and I thought it was just a courtesy. Front desk and maids very helpful. Room was very comfortable. Would stay again. Special was good.

Highly recommended: the hotel was clean and the staff professional and friendly. We'll stay here the next time we're in Kent!

Hotel was very well located for our purpose. The breakfast was of good quality, was served promptly, and the cups, silverware were clean. The attendant was curteous and helpful. We got in somewhat late so it was comfortable to have a good restaurant so nearby

great staff, clean room, good breakfast

Great, although very busy because of traffic on 43. It provided easy access to Kent State University.

Their breakfast was also great. Better then alot of other hotels. Nice pool too.

The staff was very welcoming and helpful. The rooms very very clean and comfortable. I loved having fresh coffee available whenever I wanted it. The only thing I could say is the pool could have been a bit warmer.
