ผมจองห้องพักไป 3 วันและหนึ่งใน 3 วันนั้นก็เป็นวันสิ้นปี 2011 ด้วย ผมได้ห้องบนชั้น 3 ซึ่งไม่มีลิฟต์ ผมมีลูกอายุ 2 ขวบคนหนึ่ง พอถามทางโรงแรมพวกเขาก็บอกว่าพวกเขาไม่มีเตียงใหญ่ในตึกที่มีลิฟต์ ผมขอไปพักที่ตึกที่มีลิฟต์และสุดท้ายก็ได้แบบ twin sharing มา ซึ่งก็โอเค ในห้องไม่มีเครื่องปรับอากาศและมันก็ร้อน พอผมถามไปพวกเขาก็ส่งช่างมา แล้วเขาก็ทำอะไรบางอย่าง แล้วพัดลมก็ใช้ได้ […] ตลอดเวลาที่พักอยู่ในห้องไม่เคยเย็นเลย เชื่อผมเถอะ พัทยาร้อนมากนะ และพระอาทิตย์ก็ขึ้นที่ด้านหลังห้องผมพอดีเลยด้วย แถมกระจกหลังห้องก็ใหญ่ ตอนเช้าห้องจะร้อนมาก ชักโครกนั้นพอใช้ได้ แต่อ่างอาบน้ำมีสนิมเกาะอยู่ทั้งสี่มุมทั้งด้านในและด้านนอก สำหรับโรงแรม 4 ดาวผมว่ามันไม่ควรจะมีอะไรแบบนี้นะ พวกเขาบังคับให้เราจ่ายเงินค่ากาล่าดินเนอร์ในคืนวันที่ 31 ซึ่งเป็นเงิน $250 สำหรับ 2 คน ตอนที่ผมจองห้องพักพวกเขาบอกว่ามันเป็นข้อบังคับและเราก็ไม่มีทางเลือก เราก็เลยจอง ก่อนหน้าเย็นวันที่ 31 เราไม่มีข้อมูลอะไรเกี่ยวกับงานนี้เลย ภรรยาผมก็โทรไปที่โต๊ะบริการข้อมูลแล้วพวกเขาก็ถามว่าเราได้จองรึยัง หลังจากคุยกันซักพักเราก็รู้ว่าพวกเขาไม่ได้ยืนยันการจองของทุกคนที่จองผ่านทางอินเทอร์เน็ตหรือจาก Hotels.com พวกเขาเอาตั๋วมาให้เราตอน 5 โมงครึ่งสำหรับมื้อค่ำตอน 6 โมง น่าสนใจจริงๆ :-) อาหารค่ำนั้นใช้ได้และโปรแกรมในงานก็ทำให้แขกทั้งหลายหลับ พอ 3 ทุ่มคนก็เริ่มเดินออก พอ 4 ทุ่มก็เหลือคนนั่งอยู่แค่ 30% ผมพยายามจะอยู่ต่อก็แค่เพราะอยากให้ลูกชายผมหลับนั่นแหละ ไม่อยากเชื่อเลยว่าผมเสียเงินไปโดยเปล่าประโยชน์และที่แย่ที่สุดก็คือถูกบังคับจ่ายนี่ล่ะ วงดนตรีอ้อนวอนให้ผมเดินออกและที่แย่ที่สุดก็คือพวกเขาเริ่มเล่นเพลงจีน ยิงผมให้ตายเถอะที่มาจองโรงแรมนี้ อาหารเช้าแต่ละวันก็แย่มาก ผมเจาะจงจองห้องที่มีอาหารเช้าให้ก็เพื่อจะได้ไม่ต้องวิ่งหาซื้อข้าวให้ลูกชายกิน ผมน่าจะประหยัดเงินไปได้วันละ 15$ ต่อคนโดยการไม่ต้องเสียเงินค่าอาหารแท้ๆ ส่วนดีส่วนเดียวของโรงแรมนี้ก็คือ ผมเดินออกไปข้างนอก... อ่านเพิ่มเติม

หนึ่งในตัวเลือกที่ดีกว่าด้วยราคา ทำเล สิ่งอำนวยความสะดวกและบริการระดับนี้ โรงแรมนั้นตั้งอยู่บนถนนเลียบชายหาดเลย และก็เกือบจะอยู่ในระยะเดินจาก Walking Street ด้วย มีสิ่งรบกวนในช่วงระหว่างวันบ้างเพราะมีการดำเนินการก่อสร้างอยู่ในบริเวณรอบข้าง แต่โดยรวมแล้วให้ 9/10

Bay view is a centrally located hotel with access on beach road. We had a comfortable stay however we found the staff very impolite. The rooms are clean but do need to be upgraded now as they have a old look now. Overall a well located hotel for someone who wants to spend more time on the beach or by the poolside..

For the price and convenience this has been our favorite hotel in Pattaya. We have stayed here 6 times over the past 12 years and have always been made comfortable. We have stayed at other hotels on Beach Road but always come back here.

Reasonably-priced older hotel in a great location with access to the beach and walking distance to to the new Central Mall. However, this hotel is renovating the lobby area and it will not be completed until November 2012. As long as you do not mind the lobby construction this is a good place to stay in Pattaya. Family friendly.

We have just had 9 nights at the Bayview and throughly enjoyed it. We had booked the cheapest room but included breakfast which I would thoroughly recommend. Breakfast is available from 6 am (or so I am told!) to 11am. The choice is outstanding including fresh fruit, freshly squeezed juices, Thai food, sushi, cereals...just about everything. This was […] a relaxing start to the day. The room was large and comfortable, the bathroom had a decent shower and was ample. Large flat screen TV with about 30 channels. The two pools were well kept and in lovely settings and there is food and drink service in the pool area. The other main bar is very relaxing. Food and drink prices (especially during the 4 hours of 'happy hours') were reasonable and the quality of food was high. The staff were universally friendly and helpful. Obviously you can hit busy times, but we were able to check in and out very quickly - and were given a welcoming drink while they checked us in. It was also helpful to be able to keep the room (for 1000 bhat) until 6pm on our last day as our flight from Bangkok was not until midnight. Pattaya itself is busy - great fun, but it may not to be to everyone's taste. In any case, this hotel is right in the middle, very close to the beach, but was so peaceful that you would not know you were in the town at all. I say this despite the construction work going on (which we told about before we booked) which didn't intrude. All in all, we had a afantastic time. อ่านเพิ่มเติม

Everything was gd but they charge 35 usd if we invite a guest but all others hotels in pattaya doesn't charge anything and there is a lot of mosquitos , there is no AC IN THE LOBBY that means it is not CONFORTABLE AT ALL and there are only 2 elevators and the toilettes are to old But the staff are very nice and friendly

This hotel needs urgent an upgrade to lift the face again back to few years back. The bathroom very very old the left was very slow and really nothing that impress me at all. this was my second stay at siam bayview. it is a very good hotel very close to everything. i am planning another trip to thailand hopefully this summer and this hotel will be at the top of my list.

The hotel is comfortable and the staff are attentive and courteous. The restaurant is also very good for anybody wishing to dine in house. The only drawback is that the hotel facilities while OK could do with some updating and at the time of our most recent visit (Jan/Feb 2012) refurbishment of the Beach Road frontage was in progress.

This is my 4th time staying at Siam Hotel. I have two concerns 1. They need to update their GYM equipments. They are over used and very dengerious to use. 2. There is a renovation going on at the beach front of the hotel. They need a clear sign to the entrance of the hotel.

I have stayed at a few hotels in Pattaya,and this is the best by far. The location is great(right in the middle)with very attentive staff. Had dinner at the hotel one night-Thai set menu was beautiful. At a really cheap rate we got on Expedia it was great-would definetly stay again

This was a really bad exeperienc. From the time I checked in when after reviewing my passport wasted 25 minutes on my reseveration as they thought I was someone else, to the insects bites I have from all of the Mosquitoes bites to the fact I had money missing, this was a terrible experience and would never go back or recommend this hotel to anyone.

Okay experience. My less expensive hotel in Bangkok on Silom Rd was a better hotel than the more expensive one here. Ongoing construction. For the price, not a bad hotel but overall mixed feelings.

Great service, great breakfast, great location, comfortable rooms. Swimming pool reasonable, but not massive. Building work was noisy around the pool area, although not hugely intrusive it was enough to disturb your rest and workmen kept looking at guests not work. Have to say that the hotel is looking tired though and could do with an refurbishment. […] That said, we had a great stay and would happily recommend it. Good for families. couldn't help but notice a number of the male guests seemed to acquire company for the lonely nights. But it wasn't a prevalent thing or the main clientele of the hotel. Location is perfect at the Siam Bayview, in the middle of beach road so no need to catch a taxi / tuk tuk anywhere! Beach is conveniently across the road with ample seating areas. This is an amazing hotel located within walking distance to the beach and all the local bars. The building is very well maintained and the staff is very friendly and speaks english well enough for an ignorant american who doesnt know the local language to understand. Upon checking in, we were seated in the lobby and a staff member brought my friend […] and I a plate with a cup of tea and a piece of chocolate which we both thought was a nice touch. The rooms were clean with a well stocked bar and a small balcony overlooking a pool and the mountains in the distance. The room cleaning service was very fast and in many cases was completed in the time it took to walk to my friend's room and back. The night before checking out, there were heavy rains which flooded the street in front of the hotel. I asked the front desk clerk to call me a cab which he tried repeatedly but due to the flooding, no taxis would drive on the front street. He was finally able to contact a taxi that agreed to meet in back of the hotel where the flooding was minimal to get me to the airport at the last possible second. I never doubted the genuinity of any review about any hotel that I read on this site, and with the same token I expect somewhat strongly, that my this review will also be seen in the right perspective and will be of great help to fellow travellers who plan to visit Pattaya. Agree, that for all I paid, but what I did not pay for and I got is something which has more value and made our trip one of our best vacation we have had thus far. Overall a very nice but somewhat dated hotel. I enjoyed the pools. The staff were all very nice and helpful. The location was very good if you want to stay on Beach road near the central shopping, bars, restaurants, etc. The hotel is 100m or so back off Beach road which made it nice and quite. I stayed in the sea/beach view room with a balcony on the […] 7th floor. The room had a big wall window with a nice view of the beach. In the past the view was probably almost 180 degrees. But when I was there, a different building was being built to the side and and in front of the hotel. So, it was blocking some of the beach view. I imagine if you were on the top floor of the hotel you might be able to see over the building. Room was clean, nice size, nice TV, there was room in the fridge for my drinks as well as their stuff for sale. Free coffee, tea, water. Bed was comfortable. The balcony was very small. Only room for 1 chair and a small table. I'd say almost unusable. The bathroom was small but with decent counter space. The tub/shower was surprisingly small. I don't think I've ever seen one so small. But everything worked fine. I never ate in the hotel. So, I can't comment on the restaurants. I rated the hotel a 3. I would have given it a 4 but the small bathroom, small balcony and slightly blocked beach view seemed below other hotels I'd rated a 4. But I had no complaints about the hotel. อ่านเพิ่มเติม

The views from the sea view room were delightful and ever changeing. The proximity to the Mega Central Festival Shopping Centre and its wonderful Food Court and Restaurant facilities was the icing on the cake. This was our 6th visit to Pattaya and by far the best. The only adverse feature was the sometimes slow lifts which could prove a hindrance if the Hotel was full.
