Hello, I'm not sure if all room are the same or not, but the room I was in was in clean, the bed sheet had bad smell, even the towel smell very bad. I think because they did not wash them.

Had to ask for too many services. Had a family group staying to tend to a family matter. Staff knew we were occupying two rooms fully. Had to go to the desk twice to get linens for the sofa bed. We were given them reluctantly. Had to go again and ask for sufficient number of towels. There was a card asking guests to hang any towels not needing laundering. […] We did that and the maid took them anyway, not following hotel's own policy. We had a cool, clean, comfortable, quiet room. The staff was friendly and helpful. We chose to stay at this hotel for a second time.

Not bad for a one night stay, my airconditioner had a little bit of noise which i did not like. And the hotel had some type of Chemical smell, may not be a big issue.. maybe im just sensitive.... The bathroom was really nice. I would go again just because of the bathroom, nice refreshing shower...Overall good hotel

The hotel is well located, close to The Galleria Mall. The price is fair, yet I think it could use some remodeling, particularly in bed clothing. The room and bathroom were clean.

Stayed 3 nights here. Fairly small, quiet, and comfortable. Hotel itself is in good condition and seems inviting overall, very nice lobby area. Great location with easy access to US 59, Westheimer, Hillcroft. Room (1 king bed) was spacious and clean; bed was quite comfortable despite squarish pillows. Bathroom was about average size, great counter […] space, good tub, plenty of hot water. Cheap toilet paper but I find that even at swanky hotels. The doors are a bit large and close loudly, but otherwise our time at the hotel was quiet and undisturbed. Main detriment was the room A/C + heater, it is somewhat loud and droning, does not have a temperature control feature with auto-start and auto-shutdown. Breakfast from 0630-1000 is good! Cereal, milk, coffee/tea, bagels, toast, muffins, danish, scrambled eggs, one meat, waffles, bananas, oranges... Somewhat light choices but still satisfying. The breakfast area has plenty of space and there's a TV to watch as well. There are both a small fitness center (4-5 machines including treadmill, stepper, weight machine) and a small business center (computer and printer I believe), serviceable enough for a smaller hotel such as this. Most parking is in the back of the hotel near the pool. Front desk was very kind and helpful during my stay, even found an item I had dropped in the breakfast area and returned it to me before I left. Room was clean. the neighborhood looked bad.The hallway and rooms were smelling smoke and moisture. Would not recommend if you are looking for a clean comfortable stay .The location was near counsulate and maybe good for the price.

It was difficult to communicate with several of the staff since their primary language was something other than English. The room smelled of cleaning solvent which was not pleasant. My first day there, I left my towels on the rack to use again per an instruction card in the room, but they were removed. Once I told the front desk staff I would use the […] same sheets and towels during my entire stay, they didn't remove them. However, they brought more towels, which weren't used and would have to be washed when I checked out. One week stay. Comfortable beds. Quiet rooms. Worth the price I paid. Internet connection a bit sluggish for a few business teleconferences with home office but still adequate.

Everything was fine and comfortable and the breakfast was good, too - Only the internet service kept dropping and was very frustrating since I was on a business trip and trying to work in the evening

Much better than my expectation. The room is comfortable and clean. The front desk lady in the evening was very nice and friendly. When my baby boy was crying because of Jet Lag, She gave my baby a candy. It's really warmthy. The breakfast is good for my family. We will stay this hotel again if we go to Houston next time.

Very old infrastructure, almost all switches are so hard that your finger will pain to switch them on! not a value for the money....there are plenty of hotels in the same budget, look for alrtenrate hotels

This hotel was actually nicer than I thought it would be. It was close to the Galleria and easy to access the highways. Staff was helpful . Breakfast was decent. Common areas were clean. It suited our needs as a home base while my son was attending a hockey camp.

Old fashioned room air conditioners are very noisy. Beds are uncomfortable, carpets are old, furniture is "vintage", etc. The whole place needs a serious update.

Its not actually in the "Galleria" area as Expedia shows, but, "Near Galleria" as the brochure in the room states. Not the nicest of neighborhoods. OK during the day, but I was did not take a walk after dark.

This is happen to me for the first time in 25 years for business travel. The room has been prepayed and the front desk clerk ask me for driver license and credit card not to do incidental card verification but to make a photo copy of them. This hotel is definately on the low end of any Best Western I have ever stayed at. There is definately no attention to detail or pride in the appearance of this hotel by the owners. While the staff was pleasant, the room was not. The room, along with the hallway had a musty/cigarette/covered up by air freshener. The air conditioner smells as though […] the coils have not been cleaned in a long time and may have caused my cold. The carpets are worn and again I can't say they have been cleaned recently. The tv is still an old CRT with about 12-15 channels. The surrounding area is fairly low end as well, I would not recommend walking around the hotel at night. The WORST part of this place has to be the internet connection however. The wireless runs around dial-up speed and is constantly cutting out. We liked everything about our stay with two exceptions -- the posted check-in time at the front desk said 4 pm, the Hotels.com confirmation said 3 pm which created a bit of an issue but staff got us in with a short wait but they did point out that hotels.com was wrong. Second, the breakfast area should have had a microwave as we had our own gluten-free […] hot cereal which we wanted to prepare in the breakfast room to meet with another hotel guest but they only had hot water. Front desk staff was courteous, however the room lacked shampoo. I left a note for the cleaning staff & it was supplied the next day, but should I really have to ask for a basic item? The fridge was too cold & my beer was frozen overnight. I guess warm beer would have been worse but I couldn't find any adjustment. At first, they didn't see the hotel.com booking, but the upgraded me to a suite without question upon seeing my confirmation. The room was real nice and quite. The workout room is also very good. The shower is my only complaint. The head is only 5-6" high, which is about 8" lower than I need it :)
