Absolutely beautiful hotel with beautiful rooms. Service was above and beyond. You feel like royalty staying here. The attached restaurant/bar served incredible breakfast. Short walk to the HOB Boston and Fenway. Would absolutely stay again.

This was my second time at this hotel and I was disappointed. The hotel is centrally located for my visit to see my daughter who attends Boston University. The room was large, clean, and the beds were extremely comfortable. The staff was wonderful!!! I will definitely make it my preferred hotel to stay when I visit my daughter.

We travel back to Boston annually and have stayed in MANY city hotels. This is one of the best! The location is great. The service outstanding. We had the Fenway Suite (two queen beds), the room was roomy, it was impeccably clean with luxury linens. . I found the hotel's handling of my late check out request very upsetting. I was attending a course at Boston University. I am from Canada and had arranged for my partner to join me on the last night. I had asked as soon as I checked in if I can get a late checkout on my last day and was told I had to call back on the last day but based on my other […] travels, I assumed this wouldn't be a problem. we ended up having a late night and I called front desk at 7:40 am asking for a late check out. the front desk clerk flat out said no based on their expected occupancy. when I pressed her to give me even a slightly later check out, she passed me over to her manager whose manner I found atrocious. he didn't even acknowledge my request and simply said he could not accomodate me. my course ended at 12:30 pm so at the end, I asked if I could get a 45 minute delay in my check out and he simply said no and that the hotel was full. there was no empathy or concern or even feigned care in his voice. he then asked me what time I was hoping to check out and when I said 3 pm, he said he could do it and charge me a 1/2 day rate. I was flabbergasted by what I found to be dishonesty on his part. he first said he couldn't accommodate me because the hotel was full and then he said he could if I paid for 1/2 the night's rate. at that point, I just wanted to get out of the hotel as soon as I could. อ่านเพิ่มเติม

The people were genuine not practiced hotel actors with fake smiles . When a cab driver did not know where to take me, the door man had me jump in the hotel car and he took me to Simmons collage himself . The check in lady was very helpful in finding a place to eat . heat stopped working in room one evening. long time for water to run hot in sink and shower. stayed there many times in the past, this was not atypical of them all.

This was the perfect location for a visit with a BU student. Close to everything on campus, close to shopping, and a T stop right outside the door. The room was clean and spacious. Great restaurants, too.

I was visiting a relative in one of the hospitals nearby for a week. It was do nice to come back to hotel commonwealth every night after those long days. Staff was great! Room are big and very nice.

Everything about the hotel was fine, except that I consider the $42 charge (without tip) to park the car overnight to be exorbitant.

We loved this hotel and would stay here again. The restaurants are top notch and the rooms are lovely. You do have to ask for a coffee maker because they are not in the room. I walked to Dunkin Donuts up the street for coffee because I didn't know I could get a coffeemaker for the room.

Staff was friendly and accomidatiing, always with a smile and willing to assist. Location couldn't have been better. Room was large, clean with all amentaties one would want and need.

Stayed a night for a concert at the House of Blues. Hotel has valet and in a great location. We walked right to the concert and the area was super clean and safe. The hotel itself was above and beyond what I expect. Classy without me feeling I didn't belong and the staff was really friendly.

Excellent hotel. T stop is just outside the door so you can get anywhere easily. Great restaurants in and around hotel. Only thing missing is a blow dryer in the room!

On our last night there was a party going on in an adjacent room. We had to call 3 times to complain. They did remedy the loud music issue, but the loud party noises remained. The next morning they took our restaurant charges off the bill, which we thought was fair compensation for the noise inconvenience. We had a great experience at Hotel Commonwealth. The service was helpful and friendly. We received a free complimentary upgrade in rooms. The room was clean, spacious, and had lots of little, thoughtful amenities (bathrobe, iPod dock, easy access plugs, Q-tips). The area is great with access to the subway, restaurants, and bars. Very nice bell men. Willing to help with luggage and directions around town. Location is wonderful for walking to the sites and shops in the back bay. The room was large and comfortable. The pillows were plentiful. Subway stop is below the hotel. Making it easy to travel around town.

This is a very good hotel. Large clean room, cheerful and attentive staff, excellent restaurant. But the situation is a little out of the centr e and the rooms overlook heavy traffic so are a little noisy. Breakfast was not great but the buzzy Trident café is not to o far away. There is a rumour the place is about to change hands.

Aside from the great location and beauty of the hotel, the service was out of this world! Doormen were so pleasant and helpful. We kept our bags there a day before checking into the hotel, were upgraded upon arrival to view of fenway. Location is literally STEPS from the T line, so only about a 25 minute trek from Logan Airport to the hotel for around […] $5. We could walk to all the shopping and fun stuff from the hotel too. From the moment we arrived until we left my wife and I were welcomed with smiles and very helpful staff. We stayed six nights and the whole experience was one of the best we have had ever in a hotel. The rooms were great, the Eastern Standard restaurant was excellent - it was busy, particularly in the evenings, and is obviously popular with the locals […] too. We did not use the Island Creek Oyster Bar, but we made most use of The Hawthorne, which is an exceptional venue, made more so by Nicole, Bob and the rest and the rest of the crew. We were introduced to some wonderful cocktails too! The hotel is a credit to its owners and helped make our holiday in Boston one of our best experiences. Should we return to Boston we shall certainly stay at Hotel Commonwealth. We had a wonderful time at this hotel and would recommend it to others. Its location, comfort and the helpfulness and courtesy of the staff were excellent. We only have two negative comments. We would have liked coffee and tea making facilities in the room and we felt that charging $42 a night to park our car in their carpark was not acceptable.

Great location and easy transport links. Service from all staff excellent and helpful and fabulous beds. Coffee maker in room would have been a bonus.
