Very convenient location, of you have a rom up high you're sorted as you don't get any noise from the square. Massive windows. No shower cap though! Thats my only negative point which is saying something. Very helpful staff too.

Great location, though obviously bit noisy being in the city center to be expected. Dont use the vallet parking it was useless!!

Good and pleasant stay in the hotel except that the bed was too soft for us. We prefer firm bed.

Following our overnight stay at your hotel on Friday night, we just wanted to write and let you know of the excellent stay we had, and the superb service we experienced, most notably by one of your trainee receptionists. She was very pleasant and attentive during the check-in process and during our conversation, she enquired whether our stay was for […] a particular occasion. We informed her that it was our anniversary, and she told us that she hoped we had a great time. After we checked-in, we went out for a few hours and when we came back to our hotel room, we were surprised and delighted to find a bottle of wine, a mince pie, chocolates and a few other “nibbles”, placed on a large white plate with “Happy Anniversary” written on it in chocolate. This was such a lovely gesture and completely unexpected, in fact I thought my wife had arranged it, and she thought I did - confirmation indeed that it was a complete surprise! When we went out on the Friday night, we made a point of going to see her, told her how grateful we were for the surprise, and how we thought she was an asset to the service industry and if she carried on, she would go far. I think it is important for good service to be recognised. I hope she has seen this from us with our comments, but if we could ask one more thing, I think it would be great if you read this letter to her and let her know that the hotel manager has been made aware of her excellent service. Having requested non-smoking, our room was on a smoking floor and reeked of smoke. Reception argued at length that it was indeed a non-smoking room but eventually agreed to move us. The second room had mussed pillows on the bed and biscuit crumbs on the bedding so had obviously been used. Again reception argued at length and kept us waiting some time […] before finally, with bad grace, giving us another room and emphasising that this was a 'complimentary upgrade' as though we ought to be highly grateful. My daughter and I stayed one night (that was enough), we had booked a twin non-smoking room with breakfast. They put us in a smelly (smoking) room on the first floor. The beds were not made and the mattresses were bare on the sides, the carpet was flithy and stained and the curtains were falling off the windows. I asked to be moved but was told there […] were no other rooms available. It was too late (about 1800 hours) to try to find an alternative hotel. Plus, we had used valet parking for the car, because the recommended NCP really isn't "just next door". The noise and music from the party below went on until midnight and then it carried on in the street right below our window. The delivery vans started delivering to the neighbouring pubs at about 0500 - their reversing alarms ensuring everyone was up. On check out, when asked how everything was, I told them it was rubbish and showed them the photos I had taken on my mobile phone. I had intended to send them to the manager. A breakfast with powder scrambled eggs is the worst way to star a day!

This was a great pace to stay for us. Staff were very friendly and helpful. A good central location, nice room, happy hour snacks and drinks. After we checked out, we realized I'd left my wedding ring in the room. By the time we went back, the ring had already been reported by the maid. Went to watch the 2nd test v India and most of the England team and commentators were staying there.

We arrived late at night for my son's grduation the next day. We couldn't fault the executive room that we booked for comfort or cleanliness-the beds on the two occasions we have stayed here are extremely comfortable and that goes for the standard room we previously stayed in too.

We stayed here to visit our son's degree show and had a comfortable stay. Our room was near to the road with clubs etc so it was noisy with the windows open. The parking, at least for drop off could be better but the discounted car park is close by. Great breakfast choice too and food lovely. Stayed here 2 nights in May - to attend National Watersports Centre. Lovely Latino Chino restaurant with excellent sushi, and equally excellent buffet breakfast included. Staff very helpful .Parked overnight in NCP which should have cost £12 but reduced to £5 when ticket processed at hotel. Very pleasant room, bed rather soft though!. arrived for our break the staff were excellant found us two lovely rooms that were like a lge apartment. parking is opposite and with discounted rates from hotel it was well worth it. breakfast in the hotel was amazing we will definately be revisiting

Could be so much nicer...if the room's heating system worked!

I've stayed there for 2 nights. The staffs are very nice. I like the iron they provided in the room. As I am a business man, I need to iron my shirts. A good iron means a lot to me. But as I come from Hong Kong, the food in their only resturant "Chino" is not a good choice for me. Recommend to add western food.

Hyggelig hotell, god service, rene ,romslige rom. Flott treningsrom. Hotellet lå få minutter fra hjertet av byen.

Our weekend stay at the Nottingham Park Plaza was excellent in just about every way! The first positive surprise was that the room had a bathtub, and a fully tiled bathroom. Bodd her flere ganger nå og er fortsatt fornøyd. Hoppet over frokosten denne gangen, £ 12 blir for dumt når puber 10 m unna selger frokost til £ 4. Au coeur de la ville, proche de la gare, le personnel de l'hôtel est accueillant et très patient. Il a su donner des réponses aux questions posées dans un très mauvais anglais.
