We hadn't stayed here in a while, but they have remodeled it nicely now. Service from staff is always nice and friendly. Great to be by the water, too!

This is a GREAT Hotel for the value. It's on the water, overlooking the bay and in the heart of SF, Oakland, and Alameada. Its well worth the money for what you receive and SUPER SUPER quite and clean and a great place to enjoy.

I was looking for a room for a few nights that was safe for myself and two little girls- 1 and 3 years old and this was so nice and safe. The gentleman that i met at the front counter was so polite and so helpful. I had a few minor issues in the room that i was able to fix myself. Overall this is a beautiful and wonderful kid friendly place!

The hotel had a beautiful view of the marina. There was a shopping center near by for convenience. Close to city by car but quiet and peaceful.

great value for the money ... needs a little more attention but over all good stay staff was friendly and room was comfy .=]... i recoomend this place if u sre traveling to the bay area its in a nice neighbor hood and the scenery is beutiful

Great hotel for the price, but very poor wifi

Nice rooms, friendly staff, and beautiful views in the king size premium rooms. Wish they had more cable channels though. All in all, I'll keep coming back!

The hotel is wonderfully located at a marina, and close to my family. Usually they offer a good rate, and it's quiet at night. However, I always feel the rooms are not clean. The linens look grimy and I have started to bring my own pillow case. Waste basket had debris of previous guests. The Marina Inn is out of the way and took me forever to find. When I finally got there, the room they gave me smelled horrible. It smelled like a rest room at a rest stop that is never cleaned. It was disgusting. I asked to be moved and the guy was very nice about it and moved me to another room and upgraded me to a suite. After that it was fine. The hotel has alot of deferred maintenance but it's OK for the price. I had no satisfaction with their TV and cable set up. The channels that were advertised on their in room guide were not available. Plus there was a pile driver in the marina that started this incredibly loud pounding promptly at 6 AM> SO being right on the water turned a nice view […] into a rude awakening. wished i could live in a place over looking the ocean. this place was a hint of that. the price was great. wished i could of stayed longer na dnot just overnight for business.

We had a beautiful room. The hotel is on the water and the location was great for all the events we had planned. The staff was extremely nice and helpful. We ended up extending our stay by 2 days :) and will definitely be returning on our next trip out.

We have stayed here several times. Staff is always pleasant an helpful. Rooms are nice size and tidy. The changes in the lobby/breakfast area are an improvement. The neighborhood is nice for strolling. Good restaurants within 5 miles.

OUR ROOM OVERLOOKED THE BAY AND THE SAILBOAT MARINA. THE VIEW WAS SO HEAVENLY THAT I HATED TO LEAVE TO GO TO THE PARTY WE WERE TO ATTEND THAT EVENING.

Place always clean very comfortable great breakfast will be staying here again!

The hotel is right on the marina and it's a perfect spot. It is the best location in Alameda. Right between 2 pretty yacht clubs and away from main roads. We stayed there New Years Eve to avoid the ever vigilant Alameda police after attending a party nearby. It was a quick cab ride. How nice to wake up to sailboats especially with the room's great big […] windows. Tip: I was glad we checked in early because we were originally assigned a room facing the side of the yacht club with no view at all and only a double bed. I enjoyed my stay at the hotel. The front desk was very pleasant and jovial. I highly recommend Marina Village to any and all people who either wish to get away or are staying in the Alameda area. The only bad part is the parking. There are parts of the parking lot where you can be ankle deep in rain water.

I would definitely return. Very serene and quiet

Me and my girl made a last minute reservation for this hotel with a waterview upon arrival we were informed they were out of waterview rooms and without hesitation or more money we were upgraded to a suite which was by far better than waterview beds were comfortable hotel was very quite and intimate we loved this place I can imagine why someone would […] give his place a bad review WE LOVED IT! อ่านเพิ่มเติม

nice quite location. cleanliness is ok nothing fancy, good for a good nice sleep.

The Marina Village Inn is located in a peaceful, scenic sailing community, minutes from the freeway and downtown Oakland. We were very happy with the atmosphere and amenities, and we plan to use the Inn the next time we need to stay in the area.

I try and stay at the Marina Village Inn whenever I visit the Bay area. Rooms are always clean, the surrounding area quiet and parking is always convenient. Staff is always helpful. This was the coziest best kept secret in Alameda/Oakland area. Sits right on the Marina and is so comfy. The front desk guys are soooooo very sweet. I would definitely stay here again and again. The internet was extremely slow and was a bummer as I had lots of work to do.

I would not stay at this property again. The location was fairly convenient but that was the only real plus. The layout of the property was awkward, the outside lighting in the parking lot, the sidewalks leading to the room (which had an exterior entrance) and outside the door was non existent to poor. This is right by the water, which is wonderful. Though rooms are a little small they are prefect for one person

this hotel/motel is in a nice spot, but unfortunately it is not very well maintained. I only stayed one night, but the toilet had a broken handle so to flush you had to take the tank lid of and pull the float, the sliding door to the balcony did not lock, the bathroom faucet was dripping all the time and the iron is damaged.
