Their amenities listed a pool bar, but they did not state that it was not open during the week. The Wifi in the lobby was out more than not and the bathroom smelled very musty. Not a good experience.

Older hotel but still very very nice, well kept , great staff , close to everything, would definitly stay again.

I travel weekly for work and stay at Marroitt's, and did not hesitate to book a room a the Hilton- expecting the level of service to be similar. Upon checkin at the front desk the hotel manager was who check in me and was short and unfriendly. Not a problem. I got room key about 3PM and went out to the baseball game. Upon returning from the game, I […] went to my room which was a smoking room. The smoking smell was so bad, my eyes were watering and burning. I went to the desk, the same unfriendly woman was there and told me there was nothing she could do, they had a prom there tonight and I was forced to stay in the room. The person who checked me in and assisted me while I was there was excellent.

Enjoyed my stay. Only one complaint you had to pay for parking and sometimes i was unable to find a parking place.

This hotel is an old hotel that was remodeled with marble and new walls, but they still have the rather small bathrooms and tubs. It was clean and the linens and room blackening drapes.were the best thing about this hotel. The carpet wasn't as nice as I remember Hilton for. The price must have been based on location alone since I have stayed in much […] nicer rooms for the price. This is not on the water, but next door to a noisy stadium which is on the water. It was very close to everything we wanted to do, but really if paying that much, I will stay in one of the other places. Also they don't have a sauna. Staff were very helpful. Location was great! Shuttle to race was fantastic! We would stay there again

The Hilton Bayfront is located in a very nice area. Conveniently located near the beachfront, one will find some shopping, attractions, restaurants and a farmer's market all within walking distance. The hotel's lobby is very upscale and welcoming with it's attractive decor. The customer service at the front desk I rate excellent. Check-in/Check out […] for me was very smooth and served with a smile. (Important for me) Now the room was where I was a bit disenchanted. Having never stayed at a Hilton property before this experience -- I have stayed at it's competitors -- this is where the Hilton fell so short of my expectations. From the front lobby's upscale appearance, to the floor's beautifully decorated hallway, My expectations collasped when I opened the door to my room. Admittedly, the room was very clean, comfortable and inviting, however, of a very basic decor. Hilton? I was expecting a much better decorated suite. The tiny bathroom and it's amenities were also very basic and limited. However, the redemption appeared in the quality of the linen and towels . Nice plush towels and the bed was very comfort providing a good night's rest. What became surprisingly apparent the following morning was the water leaking from the corner of the ceiling in my suite. a great place to stay, except for the hotel restaurant that was freezing and also over priced for two vegetarian dinners.

This is a Hilton Hotel and I am a Hilton HHonors member but don't expect the classy Hilton treatment. I arrived at 4:00pm for my room but it took them ten minutes to find my reservation. Then they told me they didn't have a room with a king bed available. I responded that it didn't help to have a reservation and the desk clerk agreed. Finally with some […] help from other staff a room with a king bed was found. It was small and didn't include a sofa like you expect in a king bed room or a refridgerator as advertised. The window was so dirty I couldn't see the view, but there wasn't one anyway. Don't get a south facing room. The only place to hang a towel was in the shower so it got wet if you weren't careful. Of course, everything is overpriced like in any Hilton but they also charge $12 a day for parking so figure that in your calculations. Great rate, great location. You can walk to shopping, the pier, movies, great dining.

Room was noisy. Bathroom small. On floor housekeeping woman very rude.

Not worth the price. Clean but dated and lacking in necessary updates. Holiday Inn would be a better option.

The Hilton is close to all the sights downtown. We parked our car when we got there & didn't use it again until we left town, because we were able to walk everywhere we wanted to go. The room was clean & comfortable. Breakfast is pricey at the restaurant, Starbucks is a better deal & is also located in the hotel.

Excellent, convenient and good value. The front desk staff were extremely helpful. I loved having a Starbucks in the hotel also!

Super convenient (walking) to park, waterfront, Rays stadium, boat show, movies and restaurants.

The location was great, close proximity to many activities.

Free shuttle service was provided to/from Tropicana Field. Close to everything. Clean, neat & quiet.

I wasn't impressed with the room, the carpet was dirty and the room smelled bad. A/C wasn't working right... I could of got a room in the area for half the price and got the same value. Not Good Hilton!

Our overall experience here was wonderful. The food at the Tangerine Restaurant was amazing. The shuttle service to and from the baseball game was very convenient and the people that work at that location were A+. The only complaint I had was the air conditioning in our room. Excellent location due to its proximity to many restaurants and attractions. Within walking distance to so many areas. Longer but still a manageable walk to Tropicana Field. I would highly recommend to anyone taking a trip to the Tampa St. Pete area!

Quality hotel near Tropicana Field and Dali Museum. Rooms are a bit dated but clean. Staff was friendly and helpful - bellman gave us a free ride to the ballpark, which is a bit far to walk in the heat. Several good restaurants and bars withing walking distance.

The location of this hotel is perfect for walking around the city. Also, there is a grocery store right behind it so convenience was very good.

I was charged twelve dollars to park in the parking lot that never did happen because it was so many car there that took up all the parking spaces the lady at the front desk claim she took it off my bill,and it was taking a long time for the water to go out of the tub and the condition of that hotel u would think that y'all would be up on the maintenance […] there but I guess not!!!! อ่านเพิ่มเติม

Although the Hilton has a reputation that suggest they cater to their guest every need, this location is lacking in the quality. You are asked to pay a separate fee for parking which is not unreasonable, however they do not have enough parking spaces for all of the guests and if someone happens to be hosting an event there they will allow them to take […] the guest parking spaces leaving you to park on a curb in the parking lot or have to shell out and endless amount of quarters to pay for meter parking that is not close bye. We asked them to refund the amount of the parking from our bill and they would not. We never got to park in the lot we paid for because a wedding was being hosted there that evening and the spots were all taken. We spent an additional amount of money on the parking meter and had to walk 5 blocks to our car when we had somewhere to go. I also reserved a smoking room, when we checked in we were told that they had already filled the smoking rooms, however we ran into non smokers who were unwantingly placed in a smoking room, all of us went to the front desk to request a room swap ( we were both in a standard king room) and they would not accomodate us. Our room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. While the room was quite large, the bathroom was rather under-sized. It would have been nice if they would have had a small table in addition to the desk. Hotel staff was quite accomodating. The wireless internet service did not work very well...it was difficult to maintain a connection.

Very nice older hotel in the heart of St. Petersburg that was conveniently located to various downtown restaurants. Thank you Hotels.com for helping us find an affordable downtown quality hotel.

Very nice for the price---hotel is very clean and very quiet. If you are visiting for a Rays game there is a free shuttle to and from the ballpark. Secure parking is an additional $12 per night. I would stay there again if i return. Within short walking distance of bars and restaurants

nice location...food was good..staff was good... they charge you for breathing basically....charge for internet per day....charge for fridge...charge for parking...non-refundable pet fee... overall it was nice..free shuttle to tropicana field..and the location is in the safe part of town

Overall hotel & pool area very nice & liked convenience of location; bathrooms are very small but have nice upgraded countertops, etc.. Our only complaint is that the parking area filled up on Sat. night (dinner show guests? wedding reception guests?) - the hotel reimbursed the charge for parking at a nearby garage but we didn't like being on an upper […] floor of a deserted garage or parking on the street when we had already paid for parking at the hotel. We picked this hotel for its convienece to Tropicana Field. When we arrived we were informed there was free shuttle service provided to and from the game. However once the game was over we waited where the driver had told us to return after the game but found out that we had missed the last shuttle which arrived at 11 PM. we were not informed that there […] was a time schedule on the shuttle. It was not a big deal since we were only 1.8 miles from the hotel so we just grabbed a cab for $5. It would have been nice if the staff had informed us of this first so we did not wait 1/2 hour on the shuttle to return.
