Havasu Dunes - เลกฮาวาซูซิตี

A lovely well equipped hotel that is ideal for couples or families. Enjoyed the swimming pool and spa, noticed the free barbecues around the pool so popped round the corner to Safeway, brought some food and had a barbecue round the pool. Only stayed for one night, could stay for longer next time.

I stayed at the Havasu Dunes several times back in the late 90's and love it then. So when I re-booked in April 2011 I felt it would be a good choice. And I was right! We arrived afterhours (11:00pm) and the hotel reservations staff made arrangements for me to get the keys with the Security guard. He was such a nice guy who went out of his way to help […] me and my friends. We were a group of girls so he guided me while parking the boat and then made sure we made it to our room safely. The rooms are clean, maintained and you can't help but love the fully stocked kitchen with all the necessary items to eat in when desired. (Food not included of course). Also, It's only about a 5 minute drive to the London Bridge. Anyway, if waterfront is not a total must have, then I completely recommend this hotel to everyone. By all outward appearances, the hotel is a nice and centrally located facility. The front desk staff at check-In were not customer service oriented. In fact, they were downright rude. I felt as though I was treated as a criminal and that an assuption was made that I would steal the pool towels if I didn't sign for how many I received. The pool was so […] dirty I had second thoughts about using it. There was a maintenance guy "Jimmy" who was very helpful in cleaning the pool when I mentioned it to him. Great place to stay, nice room and pool area. A little far from the down town but quiet and clean.

Havasu Dunes is a great place if you want to stay somewhere a little more secluded and quiet. It is probably one of the farthest places from the lake, but that means it is only about a two minute drive. The area in front of the units have probably the only grass in all of the city. We were there during spring break time, but our section was peaceful with no wild parties. Each section has its own pool. They even have covered parking to shade your car. The one bedroom mini was cleen and comfortable and met our needs for a short term stay. It was well equipped and afforded us a view of the Lake. We chose the view knowing that it would be noisier because it's on a busy road.
