Hotel Palacio Estoril - กาส์เซส์

We thoroughly enjoyed a 3 day break at this wonderful hotel. There was a lovely sense of peace and order. Helpful and attentive staff. The restaurant was excellent. We didn't want to come home. A place to revisit.

It's Portugal - medium friendly, medium good food etc...... but within this atmospere it's one of the best ones

Prospective travellers should be aware that this hotel is building apartments and all rooms to the front/right hand side of the hotel overlook this building site. This is not detailed on their website. We booked a double room but were given a twin which they changed immediately. However, a couple of hours later when I requested a room not overlooking […] the building site, I was told the hotel was fully booked and this was not possible. Our second stay at this outstanding hotel and it lived up to all our memories of the service quality we had previously experienced. Every detail of the guest's needs are considered for all the facilities offered.

Best yet, having been to some wonderful hotels over the years this was the very best.

We have stayed at the Palacio several times and it is always a pleasure to return. In this changing world where so many top hotels have become part of a 'chain' it is refreashing to see that at the Palacio very little changes and the hotel retains that old world charm. Do not change a thing.

Flott hotell, med et veldig lekkert SPA anlegg. Særdeles hyggelig og hjelpsom concierge tjeneste.

We booked a 10 day stay at this hotel for our summer holiday. We had been to Portugal before, but this was our first visit to this area. The area is very nice. The train station is only a short walk away, and from there you can go to Lisbon and nearby Cascais, which is a very nice place with lots of great restaurants. Estoril itself is a bit quiet […] with a limited selection of restaurants. The hotel itself was a disappointment. We travel a great deal, and we always book 4 or 5 star hotels, but we have never seen anything like this. The good things: - The hotel building. Beautiful building and pool area. - The kids club. Our little girl was delighted with the kids club. The bad things: - Our room. It was in desperate need of renovation. We booked a junior suite which was supposed to have a separate bedroom, but didnt, instead the bed and bathroom were on a separate floor. Tiles on the first floor were loose, and the interior in the living area was old and worn. On the second floor the carpet was seriously stained, and in one corner they had just put another carpet on top, just to hide the worst. The closets were unusable as they smelled, and several times during our stay water dripped from the aircondition into the closets. - The pool. Didnt seem like there was a very good cleaning system for the pool. The pool attendants were scrubbing the pool bottom with long brooms and had a small pump on wheels that they used from time to time. There was also a small "canal" around the pool where the showers were placed. Water from the showers gathered here, and this water turned quite green before they removed the water and cleaned up. Conclusion: The hotel building, the area and the service was 5 star, but the pool area and our room was definitely not. And at the price we payed for our room it was a rip-off. I have never payed so much money for such a lousy standard. While there were some renovation work going on at the hotel, our entire wing had not been touched for ages. อ่านเพิ่มเติม

Tilbragte de tre førstene nettene av en bryllupsreise der. Perfekt start med luksus, god service, flott rom (gå for 5. etasje om du kan hvis du vil ha terrasse med utsikt).

Dette er et stilfullt hotell med sentral beliggenhet. Vakkert dekorert. Stort svømmebasseng i et åpent uskjenert parkanlegg. Meget god frokostbuffet. Kan anbefales på det varmeste.

Jeg og min kone valgte dette hotellet for en firedagers reise til Estoril og Cascais. Palacio ble valgt fordi hotellet var gammelt, og vi angret aldri. Palacio leverer på alt du forventer deg av et hotell med fordums storhet og up to date service. Alt har patina, selv den uniformskledde piccoloen er godt oppi årene og utfører sitt yrke med stolthet […] og portugisisk sjarme. Frokosten var strålende, suiten vi bodde på var god og gammeldags, enda den hadde to flatskjermer og baren vi avsluttet kveldene i like vennlig som alt annet i Portugal. อ่านเพิ่มเติม
