The carpet and bathroom floor were dirty. The front desk called me in late evening to ask if I had a person by name in my booking - I found this very annoying and very late in the night to do.

Had to switch rooms due to some things missing, check in was slow, plug in's didn't work, no bath tub plug. Housekeeping didn't listen to the do not disturb sign on the door. Breakfast was pretty good. Entire hotel needs upgrades and fixing here and there. Side doors were unlocked the entire time. Even at midnight.

Where to begin, when I arrived there was one person manning the desk who didn't have any record of my reservation because the "servers were down." Luckily I had my confirmation print out with me and provided this to her. When I got checked in on the way up to my room I was surrounded by decor from the 80"s with stains all over the carpet to match. The […] room itself was acceptable, less the fact that the bed was so old that there was a visible hump in the middle. The shower was full of mildew and was in a state of disrepair. Perhaps most interesting was the man asleep in the hallway when I returned to my room on Saturday night after attending a wedding. I think he may have worked at the hotel as he continued to wander the hallways after being awoken by my stepping over him. There was no mention of the continental breakfast that was apparently included in the rate; however, on further investigation this breakfast consisted of cheerios that were stored in a container on a counter. Our stay was very comfortable.. The staff were so polite and help full. We really enjoyed our stay . Our room was spotless and the decor was beautiful. We will truly stay there again when we visit Wallaceburg.
