We left the hotel because the room was dirty, there were tin cans all along the 2nd floor walkway for cigarette butts. It is obviously a long term hotel, which would be fine if both the inside and outside were not dirty and in disrepair.

I was very disappointed with the front desk staff , I arrived to my room and found the refrigerator with mold , toilet blocked and the wifi was hard to connect to . called the front desk and was told that I could come to the front desk and get a plunger and un block it myself . Overall the motel isn't too bad but it's currently (October 2011) being used to house several families who are sheltering there due to hurricane damage. Some of these folks are quite boisterous and there's plenty of drama to be had in the parking lot just outside your room. Also, the building was supposedly undergoing "renovations" but there was no […] evidence of active work being done. So no ice machine, no pool and no lavish extravagance in your room. I pulled into the parking lot, the hotel was under construction. I went to check in, front desk was rude. Went to room, it looked like someone manscaped themsleves in the shower, bed was unmade and room smelled like BO. I asked for a refund was told no and took myself to a best western.

This motel is a rather older motel in the process of being refurbished on the outside to improve comfort on inside; will refurbish inside next. Also, when toilet did not flush, mgr was in room /c replacement 'flapper' in less than 10 minutes, no other problems. Construction in area made it difficult to get to.Toilet in next room ran all night.Friendly staff.Clean room. Italian restaurant next door was good value and good food.Outside looks rough but they say they are under construction(never saw any workers).Would give it a 7 out of 10.

This was a comfortable place to stay for an overnight getaway and the desk manager was very helpful. The highlight was the restarant next door - Magino's - outstanding food, I would go back just to eat there.

Room and bath were small. Breakfast choices consisted of 2 cereals and a few pastries, and they were out of something most of the time. Pillows were worn out. Room was clean, though. Manager couldn't help us with navigating the area.

I am not a smoker but I selected a smoking room because it was cheaper and I figuered that not many people smoke now. I was wrong. I had to air the room out before it was fit to go in.
