The hotel person were not very nice,not even a smile, the bed were hard even my grandson said granny the matress is hard,I replied lets try to endure it we are only here for one night,and if you can get past the musty smell,then oh well I guess your be find.I want stay again

The room was as clean as it could be for its age. The hotel is older, but staff was nice and the room was good. About a 15 min drive to historic St. Augustine. My stay was ok. I saw roaches in my room. The a/c didnt work on the "low fan" setting. On the last day, before checkout, someone walked in the room without saying anything. I was very upset. Breakfast only had 2 kinds of cereals, apple juice, orange juice, and bread. I expected more than that. I forgot an item and called to retrieve item however it […] seemed as though they didnt care. The staff was pleasant and polite, however, this hotel is designed for smokers only. It reeked of cigarettes even though it was a non-smoking room. It is very out of date, the carpeting is worn and stained, the mattresses were very uncomfortable, the sheets were worn and the blankets were tattered. The tissue dispensers are falling off the walls, the […] windows don't close properly yet they are nailed shut (can't use the balcony at all) and the AC unit is very noisy and that was an upgrade from the first room they gave us. And if you are looking to charge more than one phone, good luck. There is only 1 outlet available in the bathroom, unless of course you unplug something else in the room. Comfortable, good size room, with firm beds. The shower, in the room above, leaked into our tub, below. Needs serviced. I let them know. Good rate. Lousy continental breakfast. The least stuff I have seen, in a motel.

I read the reviews before staying there and was very nervous. What I found was nothing like the reviews. The room was clean and comfortable. Staff was helpful. Very pleasant.

After reading the reviews of this hotel I was worried this hotel would be horrible..our room was nice and we will definately stay again. NO smell and very clean. I guess they did improvements since the earlier comments. I mean it's not a 4star hotel but I did not pay a 4star price!! I was very satisfied!!

This hotel smell so bad we could hardly stay in the room. The upkeep was terrible. There was not a bottom bed fitted sheets and the towels were in bad condition.

Hotel was a great value for good reason... Very dirty. Bathroom was gross, dirt and hair in corners by tub, under sink, and by toilet. Room was supposed to be non smoling, but reeked of stale smoke. Won't stay here again, would rather pay the extra money,

Not bad but not great - ok for the price and you get what you pay for.

Do not stay at this hotel unless you like cockroaches and lawn chairs in the swimming pool. As soon as it got dark the cockroaches were running everywhere. Swarms of them in the dresser drawers and coming out of the carpet baseboards. Potatoe chips behind the dresser, looked like had been there for months. Thus the bugs. Just terrible.

We only stayed one night while on our to way to the Daytona 500. The beds weren't uncomfortable and the sheets were clean, but the room needed some updating. The double beds seemed a little small and the room definitely needed some updating. The heater didn't work either which would have been nice since it rained the night we were there and it got a […] little chilly. I couldn't even take a bath to get warmed either, the faucet was stuck so that you could ONLY shower. Hotel clerk was great and very friendly. Room was not so good. Mattress was terrible, slept on floor second night. Pain coming off walls and bathtub nasty had to put towel on floor of tub before showering. AC very noisy and glass door not secure leading to parking lot. Light over table not operational. Room was clean and smelled that way. However.... the facilities are sadly lacking in quality. Linens were so cheap you could read a newspaper through them. The towels were so thin and small that it was easier to air dry. Many mistakes in the when-ever paint job; worn carpet in the room and hallway's.The two pictures in the room were hung up-side-down. […] The patio door required two men and a small boy to open/close. The ac in the room did not work

Nice reasonably priced motel. Staff were kinder than what they are probably getting paid. I tipped the maintence guy ten dollars for simply going out of his way to be kind and efficient in his under paid job. All staff were great. Guess that's it. After reading the other reviewers I thought this hotel would be awful. But it wasn't bad at all, especially for the price. The room was a nice size & the bedspread was clean. The rugs were clean. Cheapest place in St Augustine area. We were pleasantly surprised, especially after the flop house we stayed in on 192 in Kissimmee. Now THAT was bad!! Upon arrival room smelled like bug spray , was so strong I had to leave for a few hours. Not the type of hotel that I am accustomed to. No refund policy prevented me from going somewhere else > Clerl at front desk demanded mt credit card and manually ran it on a machine even though she was told that the hotel was paid for on line and paperwork was provided […] to that effect. awful & dirty . waterstains on wall. rusty air conditioning unit that you don't want to touch.

My daughters and I stayed here for one night. The room was not clean and the lock on the sliding glass door to the outside did not work. We were provided an adjustable curtain rod to bar the door. Needless to say I arranged furniture to provide our own security. Even cheap rates for an over night stay should cover basic security!

The hotel was ok and had what we needed except for a fridge in the room (but there was ice available). However the carpet was a little sticky and it was not possible to get out on the balcony because the door was blocked.

My kids loved the pool. It was very nice to walk up front in the morning and grab a bite. Our room was very humid. So much so that the towels hung overnight did not even dry. Summer in Florida-whaddya gonna do.

This motel needs some TLC. Our sliding door did not operate. The tub drained so slowly that we had checked out before the water had drained from the tub after my wife's shower.

My hotel room had a serious odor. The front desk person gave us a pink solution in a spray bottle to get rid of the odor. This lasted for a few hours, the smell was bad in the hall and the room. There were stains on the ceiling like water had leaked from it before. There was a dead waterbug by the air conditioning unit. We had driven 12 hrs and was greeted by a very friendly night clerk. Took care of us & had us in our clean & comfortable room in less than 5 minutes. No noise or party animals to interupt our rest. Great bargain priced hotel. Would stay there again.

Needs to be improved-Big time! The key to the door hardly worked so getting into the room was a problem. Old fashion electric, TV, Lights and all room controls were located on the wall with a button 30 yrs old. No fridge or microwave. poor breakfast

After paying for our room, the very next day it went down $10.00. When I asked the hotel about that, the owner or owner's wife said she couldn't honor it. It seemed like I was bothering her by asking about the change. The room wasn't the best. It was ok for the weekend but it does need some improvements or upgrades. We stayed in different rooms. Clean were the rooms not very much. The air conditioner did not work very well. The personell at the frontoffice were very pleasant and friendly. I dont recomment this hotel!!! Greetings from Germany
