Convenient location near the university, a 10-15 minute walk from the train station, and 15-20 min. to the city center. Clean, modern room but very small. Reception desk is not manned 24 hours. I used the buzzer to gain access to the hotel the first time and checked-in myself. Worked for me. Decent hotel in expensive city. Room is clean but small. Lobby had public Internet PC, no Wifi. I checked in on Sunday evening, no front desk staff, keys left in the lobby. Breakfast was included but I didn't know about it. Location is ok, you need to take bus from the main station, walking will take 15 minutes. Neighborhood looks fine.

PROS - Excellent location (right near one of the major streets of Bern, near the University. 5 minutes of walk to main train station) - Professional staff and clean rooms CONS - No free wi-fi, yet breakfast is included - The cleaning ladies come to your room in the mornings a little bit early (like at 9:30 - 10am) Overall, it's a good value.

there was a loud buzz going on through out the night, couldn't sleep well..

The picture and Google street view make this hotel look a little run down, or in a bad neighborhood. NOT TRUE. I don't know how it only has 2 stars, this place was great. Within walking distance of the main train station, an excellent bakery next door, and at least 3 restaurants within a 5 minute walk. Reasonable price, spacious, clean and friendly front desk service. The tile floor makes the room a bit cold and the set up was a little short on privacy. I was on the first floor, and could hear anyone in the courtyard and whoever was playing loud music in another room facing into the courtyard. The location is extremely convenient, with a bus stop less than 30 meters away and the main train station just 2 stops away. Restaurants and a supermarket close by. Hotel staff is very friendly and will do everything possible to make your stay comfortable. Rooms are clean and all amenities available. es un hotel de lo mejorcito que se puede encontrar en Berna por su precio y numero de estrellas, no esta en el centro pero se llega en 10-12 min. El barrio esta bien tranquilo y con algunas cervecerias etc.... El trato magnifco amable y solicito. Meine Mutter hat sich sehr wohl gefühlt, sehr schönes Zimmer, ein bisschen klein. Kommen gerne wieder ; )

Arabelle Hotel svarte til forventningene på en utmerket måte. Bra beliggenhet og gunstig pris. Mye for pengene. Veldig bra frokost og hyggelig betjening. Rent rom. Hva mer kan man forvehte!

Mérite ses deux étoiles si vous n'êtes pas au rdc sur la rue : impossible d'ouvrir la fenêtre, le bruit est intense et les passants peuvent vous voir. Accueil très sympathique (mais sans excuses pour les travaux). Petit-déjeuner perfectible mais correct avec un excellent café et du bon pain. Service de réservation impec.

Wirklich sehr einfache Zimmer. Brauchte nur ne Schlafgelegenheit (01.00 bis 05:30...) - dafür in Ordnung. Anreise und Abreise ausserhalb Desk-Zeiten problemlos telefonisch organisiert, netter Service.

Die Einzelzimmer sind noch nicht renoviert und infolge dessen sehr altmodisch. Eine Umbuchung in ein renoviertes Doppelzimmer zur Einzelbenutzung war ohne Probleme möglich (mit Preisaufschlag). Das Doppelzimmer war nicht sehr sauber (Staubfetzen, schware Haare am Boden). Der Frühstücksraum ist sehr trostlos und das Frühstücksbuffet lieblos. Sikker et ganske udemærket hotel, men vi syntes ikke at vi fik hvad vi betalte for, set i lyset af prisen, og standarden af det værelse vores venner havde. Vi bestilte 2 dobbeltværelser, den ene helt ok, det andet var lillebitte, med en dyne, og en hovedpude, i en meget smal seng. Ich kann dieses Hotel uneingeschränkt empfehlen. Das Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis geht absolut in Ordnung. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist reichhaltig, die Zimmer sehr sauber und ruhig.

Molt tranquil.

Frukosten ingen höjdare. Består mest av fiberfattigt vitt bröd med de gamla vanliga marmeladburkarna. Skivad ost och en massa frukostflingor . Rekommenderar att man köper med sig smörgås till kvällen om man är hungrig. Rummet jag hade var rent och snyggt. Ingen lyx men OK för en eller några nätter. Personalen vänlig och hjälpsam.
