I very was disappointed. It was not at all what I expected from reading the description and reviews at hotel.com. The room just didn't seem "fresh" and clean. The bedding looked worn, the bedskirt was not on straight, and overall it just looked "used". If we visit that area again, we will look for another place to stay.

My husband and I stayed there for 1 night and we enjoyed ourselves. In the 1 night and partial day we had there, we swam, visited the fitness center, went in the sauna, and enjoyed ourselves. It's kind of far out and not too close to anything, but I would stay there again.

We arrived late on the first night of our stay and had been "bumped" from our original non-smoking room to a smoking room. It was evident someone else had been put in there and complained until they were given our room. We were told there was no guarantee of a non-smoking room with our reservation and the smoking room was the only open room in the hotel. With […] no other option, we stayed in the smoking room for the night and were moved to another room the next day. The smoky smell was very unpleasant and stuck on some of our clothes. The night's sleep was not exactly pleasant. We were given free breakfast vouchers for our troubles. On the second night, we were moved to a very clean non-smoking room. That night was much more enjoyable - clean and fresh smelling! I would recommend this hotel, but call ahead and find out how to guarantee a non-smoking room if the smoke bothers you. อ่านเพิ่มเติม

The biggest disappoint was how loud and how much voices carried from other places and rooms. This included the outside. At 4:00 a.m. a normal conservation from outside in the parking lot took place and woke us up. These people were not loud. The same thing occured from the hallway, and the rooms on either side of us. The room was directly across the hall from the housekeepers breakroom / office. Personnel were loud during the day. Of course they were not there during the evening and night hours. Everything else was okay except the bedding mattress was very firm; not particularly comfortable. Keep your voices down!

Very clean, nice rooms, friendly staff, good breakfast, nice pool. Would definitely stay again.

We decided to stay at this hotel on our return trip because the front desk staff were extremely helpful when we were looking for a hotel on our way through the first time. Unfortunately, the hotel is very tired looking. The bathrooms require some serious updating! As a single female traveling with 2 couples, I had a bit of a hard time understanding the reasoning behind this, but as it was only for one night I just took my room without a fuss. Clean and comfortable. Breakfast was great. Something for everyone. Made to order omelets, waffles or french toast.

Hotel was clean with good customer service. A great overnight stop. Bob Evans and major routes near by.

Very good hotel, except for one incident. For the second time (out of two times), the hotel staff failed to provide a wake up call that was requested the evening before. This was very disturbing. It appears that it was planned by the hotel staff. How else to explain, not only once, but twice?

We stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn during an overnight trip to the Indiana Dunes. We have two families we camp with annually, and decided this year we were going to stay with them during the day and evening, but would be sleeping in comfort. We loved that the hotel is within a 15-minute drive of the Dunes, the rooms are very neat and clean with a comfy […] armchair and footstool, large desk and ergonomic chair, flat panel TV, small fridge and microwave. We chose a package that included breakfast and the food was plentiful and good -- it wasn't gourmet quality, but everything that should have been cold was cold, and all that was supposed to be hot was hot. There was a ton of different food options to choose from, and service was friendly and quick with a personal touch --my 4-year-old ordered pancakes, and she was surprised and delighted when her order arrived in the shape of Mickey Mouse's face. We feel like we got a great deal for our money, had a pretty good night's sleep on a comfortable bed, and the *only* part we didn't enjoy was the air flipping on and off loudly all night long. The hotel was nice and close enough to dining, shopping and the Dunes that the short drive to all was ok. The front desk ladies were wonderful and answered my questions satisfactorily. The mexican restaurant they recommended was wonderful too :) I would definitely recommend this hotel and would stay again when in the area. I was not impress when I walked into the room. The bed was very unattractive. It had lumps in it. I thought I was seeing things, but I was'nt. The under comforter was very lumpy/ Also, I was not aware that breakfast was not free. I had to pay for it. Also, I had left my curling irons there, and had to pay for them to be sent to me, in STL. I thought […] that was very unprofessional and unappreciative of the customer. With the Hilton reputation, I would have thought they would send left article t guess for free. Also, I left a dog bowl that I had purchased and it was not found in the room. I had just left, by the time I got to Chicago and called it was gone. I felt the housekeeping staff may have taken it. After reading all the great reviews, I thought we'd have a comfortable stay. I was very wrong. The room was too humid and the bed was HARD AS A ROCK! I am not exaggerating when I say we literally felt like we were sleeping on a basement floor. We "adjusted" the dials on their special mattress but felt no change at all. Not worth the $$$. Also, the […] parking lot was rather empty so I cannot understand why the hallway was so noisy. I guess the few people that were there were grouped all together and it was unfortunate that some people are so inconsiderate to constantly let their room doors slam at all hours of the night (3:30 a.m. and on), all night long. We travel a lot and this was by far the worst property we've ever stayed at. We also stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn in Wisconsin and had the same humidity problem in the room. Overall the hotel was very satisfactory. Two problems I encountered were: 1. The light at the entrance to the room didn't work, and I was told it could only be fixed the next day when maintenance is on the premises. 2. Although Hilton has a very clear policy on saving energy and water by asking guests to hang their towels if they wish to save energy […] - which I did - nonetheless, my towels were changed by housekeeping. My family just needed a place to stay over night when we were on our way to Chicago to visit Loyola University. Extremely nice, quiet and clean!

Excellent service, rooms was excellent - great deal!

Very nice hotel , This is the hotel we will stay at every time we visit the area.Great food in the resturant and reasable in price. Just and all around great stay. Highly recommend.

This was our second stay at this location. It was everything we remembered it to be: clean, comfortable, convenient and incredibly friendly staff. Although we experienced a few problems with our room immediately after checking in (slow moving toilet and card reader on door not accepting 2 of our cards), the staff took care of both problems within a […] few minutes of being notified. The room was very clean and very comfortable. Bedding was in great condition. My only complaint is that I would have preferred a lightweight blanket in addition to the sheet and duvet, as the sheet wasn't quite enough yet the duvet felt incredibly heavy. The pool at this location was nice and clean with a fairly private patio outside for sunbathing. We probably would have enjoyed our swimming experience more, however there was the family who brought in a group of at least 10-12 young teens/tweens for a party, complete with food and drinks and then left them unsupervised for a period of time despite it being clearly posted that food, drink and unsupervised children under a certain age were not allowed. While unsupervised, the teens caused quite a ruckus and were in and out of the sauna with lots of shoving and pushing. Even though maintenance was in and out during this episode, nothing was done to stop any of it. I debated whether or not to report it, however my husband decided that we would just leave and go back later. While there's not a lot of restaurants or retail in the immediate vicinity, there is plenty within a five minute drive. The restaurant in the hotel provided a VERY NICE breakfast bar (with fresh seasonal fruit and the ability to place a custom order if one prefers) for an additional price. They also have dinner available. Coffee Creek Watershed preserve is nearby and provides a beautiful sanctuary from the busy-ness of real life. The hotel was clean and comfortable. Location was a short drive from the Indiana Dunes State Park. The staff was terrific and the breakfast was fantastic!

Check-in was smooth, the room was clean and comfortable, and check-out was equally smooth. Breakfast was fantastic (plenty of choices at the right price). Hotel location is convenient to highway access (I-80/90 and the road that takes you to the Dunes). Gas station across the street, plentiful shopping and dining one or two stoplights away. The floor […] of our room (on the 4th floor) squeaked and creaked when we walked on it, making me wonder what the folks in the room below had to endure every time we crossed the room. And the door to the room was VERY heavy to push open. With bags, it's a trick even if you go to the gym every day. We have been here several times and I must say it is a quiet and very clean hotel. Always enjoyed our stay.
