Overall we were satisfied with the our accomodations. My family and I were very comfortable and there was lots of activities both on and off the Resort. The facility is beautiful. The manor house is intact and currently being renovated. The buildings rented out as hotel rooms are actually more like condos. Our two bedroom unit had a separate room with a hot tub. Fabulous. We had two issues which I have not yet heard back from the hotel in reference. We were also mis-informed about where we could park our cars and as a result I received a phone call and SECURITY ESCORT, complete with flashing lights, at 10:45 p.m. I showed the security officers the map we had received that clearly indicated we had parked our additional vehicles where we were told to, and they did apologize for the information. The staff was very polite and friendly. When we stated that we could not stay for the timeshare presentation they understood and did not act as though they were insulted or upset with us. We had stayed there before with friends and the service was the same, helpful and friendly. We would stay again.

Great value for the price paid!

Very close to everthing shopping centers, movie theatres, eating spots even had there own and a little store so over all GREAT place to stay

My friends and I went for a long weekend to visit Williamsburg. The condo was so nice we didn't want to leave. It was just perfect. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. It is an awesome place and great prices and service.

I was a little hesitant because of some of the reviews I read but we had an amazing stay just wish we could have stayed a bit longer. The hotel was clean and the grounds were beautiful. We didn't have any problems what so ever. Its super close to colonial williamsburg and all the other major attactions. Great resort, would like to have been able to spend more time at the resort but with so much to do and so little time we didn't get to appreciate the amenities.

After reading the reviews, I was a little hesitant to stay here. Well I could not have been more happy with this resort. The staff was friendly and very helpful. The room itself was perfect. Very clean and well maintained. I would definetaly return and highly recommend this resort.

Good value. Family friendly. But expect that check in will include a speach about buying into the time share program.

We have stayed here several times. This is a magnificent place that is beautiful inside and outdoors. I can't wait to go back!

Nothing special. Like a low-budget condo with cheap finishing materials and furniture. The "concierge" looked stunned when I stopped her at the beginning of making a pitch to sell us a timeshare--the apparent reason why the price was low.

I was impressed with all of the amenities. I did request late check out and was disappointed that they were so rigid about the 11:00 check out time, that is the only complaint. The maintenance people were right there when we called about the hot tub being empty. Overall, great place to stay

It was a great experience. I would definitely vacation there again.

Location was good. Potential for excellent ratings. NOT what we were promised in terms of beds - additional charges for wifi- and any room services during our stay. Hot upstairs for loft beds - AC not working. old appliances -

Was very please with the condo we had for two days. Our original room was not ready so they upgraded us to a two bedroom condo whch was above expectations for the two of us. Was convienent to Colonial Williamsburg and restraunts. Would definately go back there if was in that area.

Had 3 room changes and was charged extra for third room change with twin beds. Others in my party had paid for 1 bedroom and still got same accommodations as i and paid alot less. Not happy at all!!!

Pools were nice (both indoor and outdoor). We had 6 adults and 2 kids in 3 rooms (two 1-bdrm and one 2-bdrm). The two-bdrm suite had enough room to comfortably seat all six adults for extended periods (between the 6-seat table and the living room furniture). The dishwasher was torn apart and laying on the kitchen floor when we arrived. We had to call someone to come and fix it. The valve in the toilet leaked and the water has hissing all the time. We had to call to get this corrected. Very small kitchen. Dorm room size fridge. We went to the indoor pool and hot tub and were told they were at capacity so […] we had to go to the outdoor hot tub in 60 degree weather. This is a nice place but it needs a lot of maintenance. Lovely resort. We had two rooms booked for our family, one bedroom and a two bedroom. We were pleasantly surprised to get an upgrade and had two, two bedroom units for our family. which were together and allowed us suite keys enabling our whole family to eat together. AMAZING resort, I wish we'd realized before our arrival, we would've booked a second night.

WE WERE STOPPING ON OUR WAY THROUGH TO NC. A MIDDLE AGED MAN IN THE ELEVATOR SAID THE HOTEL LOOKED THE SAME WHEN HE WAS IN COLLEGE.

Our "condo" was amazing. For about the price of a nice hotel room we got a 2 BR, 2 BA HUGE condo with a full kitchen, living room, balcony, etc. The grounds are beautiful and there is plenty to do onsite, though we were only there 1 night and didn't get to do much of it. Only 2 drawbacks 1) the shades/blinds were missing from 1 bathroom, which had […] a huge window to the parking lot. NO privacy in that bathroom. 2) The 4pm check-in (they did get us into a different condo around 2:30, which is why we didn't complain about the missing blinds) and 10am checkout were a bit annoying. The Resort and the individual condo units need updating. The restauarant at the indoor pool was awful and the grease smell from the kitchen was nausiating. Also the beds were so hard it was impossible to get a good nights sleep. In addition, there was no information in the unit as to what the Resort had availale for guests. My husband and I stayed here over Spring Break and we had a great time. The room we had (upstairs two bedroom) was immaculate, the property was gorgeous, and the concierge desk was friendly and helpful when we were looking for a restaurant to order delivery from. I was a bit nervous to stay here after reading some reviews about it being a timeshare […] property, but we firmly declined the presentation offer (as per other reviews) and we weren't bothered about it again. I recently took my children on a trip to Williamsburg for Spring Break and checked into The Historic Powhatan Resort. Upon arriving, I thought we were checking in at a good time (check in is at 4pm) about 5:30. I waited in a 20 min line. Staff was super friendly and tried to keep everyone calm. Room was nice, old tv, but my kids didn't care. Their main […] concern was the pool. This location has two pools, one indoors and one outdoors. We attempted to go to the indoor pool since it was only 60 degrees outside, but the maximum capacity was 35 people and it was already packed. Needless to say my kids swam in a cold pool with about 5 other kids running from the hot tub to the pool for about an hour. i don't think customers with children should be allowed to book 2nd floor rooms. I had a couple with 4 children in the room above me and I thought I was under attack when they were in the room. Resort was excellant. They upgraded us to a two bedroom condo because one bedroom was not available yet. Great value for the money. Would highly recommend it.

The resort was great. No problems. rooms were clean and very comfortable and lots of space. Had a gym and tennis courts to use. We enjoyed our stay.

This place was good surprise and really enjoyed my stay, they were updating the main house and the put- put golf course, but everything else was available. It would be nice if the kitchen was open every day, we stayed Monday thru thurday and it is only open Thursday thru Sunday. The condo was actually very spacious and well laid-out, the service was extremely friendly and welcoming, and the location, while not absolutely in the middle of everything, is very close to both Colonial Williamsburg and Busch Gardens. The problems aren't so much big, glaring issues as things that need attention. The TVs in the condo are probably the […] smallest tube TVs ever made, and while the unit was extremely clean, the furnishings in the living room were dated and showing age (the couch in our unit was very uncomfortable to sit on). There is wireless available on site, but it's provided by AT&T and you have to pay by the week per device (not a deal breaker for me, but could be for other people). But if you want a spacious condo close to everything with excellent service, comfortable beds, and a full kitchen to take advantage of (and I do mean a *full* kitchen... everything is provided right down to pots and pans), then I'd highly recommend going here. (Note: they do still operate as a timeshare, so there is a sales pitch, but it comes after the stay and you can easily turn it down without being pressured.) อ่านเพิ่มเติม
