Resort was more than we expected, with great amenities and clean up to date facilities. Wish we had more time and they had more dining facilities on site.

The place was hugh. Large living room, kitchen, dining room. There were two large bedroom and two bathrooms. The place was super comfortable. Some furnishings need updating and the cleaning crew could have done a better job vacuuming.

Very comfortable and affordable for a family on a limited budget, that also makes you feel like a VIP.

Absolute pleasure overall from hotel to service five star.

The indoor pool was smaller than appeared on picture and too crowded to enjoy. The smell off chlorine was overwhelming. The weight room/gym was too far to walk to, so we could not use it as we had our children with us. Booked a 1 Bedroom Condo at the Greensprings Resort for a quick getaway to Busch Gardens/Williamsburg with our two boys (Ages 3 and 1)... Got little pressure to attend the sales pitch, which was nice... Perhaps if only one of us had to attend so the other could stay with the boys, we may have taken them up on it.... Once we got to the room, which was […] in a building very close to the pool/office area, we were pleasantly surprised to find we were actually given a very spacious 2 Bedroom, which was perfect for us... Screen door to our balcony was broken, as our 3 year old found immediately... However, maintenance was there within 15 minutes to fix....Security guards were very pleasant at the front gates and even made a great suggestion for pizza delivery... The pool area was very well maintained and we could have spent our whole time here.... Ignore their effort to get you to a timeshare meeting on your last day. Say you do not want to go. You have no obligation to them as a paying customer.

Loved it; convenient and amenities were generous.

This place was awesome for the price! We booked with a %50 off special and we couldn't believe what we got for the price!! This is not a hotel, it's a full fledged resort and the "rooms" are definitely more like roomy appartments. Full kitchen (as was promised), flat screen tv's in master and living room, beautiful location, beautiful facilities...all […] rooms have a back porch that is PERFECT for eating outside. So much space to spread out in!We loved the hot tub in the master bath. Everything was just more than we could have asked for! Will go back if we can get that price again! There were 3 things that I should mention as a word of warning for those who might care: 1. the decor is outdated and I was dissapointed that there were no black out drapes. Not a huge deal. 2. This almost dropped my rating down to a 4 but I couldn't considering all the other posatives: We stayed on the middle floor and the noise from above us was INSANE. There were times where my husband and I sat up in bed thinking there were people in our appartment, that's how loud it was. I would highly recommend putting in a request for the 3rd floor if you have a 2 bedroom suite...cuz if you're on the 2nd floor and there are people above you, it's going to be bad at night and in the morning when people are coming and going from the appt. 3. We did get a friendly shove to attend the managers meeting but as long as you go in prepared and offer a polite but firm "no thanks" you'll be fine. This hotel exceeded our expectations! Checking in and out was a pleasure and the staff was very friendly. The suite was very large and everything was new and clean! The only downside is that it is also a timeshare or condo and they did try to get us to sit for one of those lectures. But ... receiving a welcome package by the concierge is very convenient but the way being enforced to participate in a marketing event is definitely a downside. We wanted vacation not business!

Loved the huge 2 bedroom suite with the option of twin beds in second bedroom. Nice set up when vacationing with another family as two suites share a private entrance. Hotel is older and not all suites have been fully renovated. The outdoor pool was way too cold, even though it was 82 degrees outside.

Our party of 5 had an absolutely awesome stay at this resort. Would highly recommend this place, in fact, thinking about going back again!

An incredibly good deal for a first class resort

This all-inclusive resort is an excellent place for families visitng the Williamsburg/Jamestwon area. The rooms are large and well-appointed and equipped, and the facilities incluide all manner of healthy diversions for youngsters adn adjuts as well. Staff are welcomng, courteous and helpful, and do not "push" the time-share purchase opportunity.

This place was very clean and quiet. The nice thing is that it was like an apartment rather than a hotel room, which included a laundry room, full kitchen, and a deck that oversaw a gold course. The only thing that was iffy was at check in when you are hounded a little bit to join a time share presentation. If you are not interested, just be persistent […] in saying no but if you have some extra time they offer some good insentives just for sitting through the 1-2 hour presentation. My sister's and I have stayed at this resort last year and it was great, wonderful and just so relaxing. This time was the same everything was great. We asked for a first floor room and they had it ready, everything was great the beds are so comfortable, I did not even want to get up in the morning. It was close to the outlets and grocery stores. My hubby & i went for a romantic weekend getaway. It was quiet & very relaxing. Can't wait to return! Everything about the resort and room was beautiful, except the spa tub in the room didn't work.

The room is spacious and clean. Some minor wear is noticeable on carpet and furnishings but nothing that detracts from the sense of luxury and comfort we felt. I think all rooms have balconies and ours overlooked the golf course. Although it was too cold when we stayed (March 2012), the table and chairs on the balcony would have been a delightful place […] to have breakfast. This was a wonderful stay for the family! Close enough to all the historical attractions and folks on the premises were helpful with giving directions. Friendly staff and welcoming to newcomers. We rented a 2 bedroom condo which was a nice change of pace from the normal hotel stay that is only suited for maybe 2 people. Loved the indoor pool! Perfect […] get away for a family vacation. What a marvelous resort/hotel!!! It was extremely spacious, clean, and a perfect place to "stay for a week" if you needed/wanted. The ONLY downfall was the bed. It was hard and very uncomfortable.

You wiill be hounded and hounded to attend a time share meeting, even if you decline. Then they will promise you only an hour and a half, but take over 2 hours plus with high pressure sales. The rooms had a hole in the couch, cracked tile in the bathroom, and you can hear folks above you, all night.

The Resort rooms were spacious and comfortable. I wish we had more time to spend in the apartment and also in the lovely pool.

I found the greenspings resort several years ago. My wife and I have continued to come back for Valentines Day and our Aniverisery each year since. We have never been disipointed. Greensprings is close to Colonial Williamsburg and the outlet malls, as well as Busch Gardens. Being local to the area my wife and I enjoy our quick get away weekends.

I have stayed at Greensprings several times over the years. the staff is very welcoming and accomodating. The only problem I am seeing recently, is that the rooms are in need of a facelift. Otherwise, I would recommend, and have recommended Greensprings Plantation, in wiliamsburg, VA to friends and family. The pool area is awsome!

Great place for families that need extra rooms for kids. Verty well stocked and very clean . Nice views of the golf course. Great indoor and outdoor pools. Mini golf and playgrounds too. hotel is always very clean and comfortable.....pool area is immaculate and stays open til 11:00 which is a MAJOR plus for my family....we love the spaciousness....toilet in master suite ran all night while we were there, but i didn't tell them until we checked out, otherwise I am sure thay would have looked at it...so I really can't complain about it. […] The only thing i don't like about the resort is that the majority of the check in staff (not the concierge) is not very friendly at all....there a a couple who are friendly, but majority don't speak, don't smile...which is uncomfortable for us as we try to make check in pleasant, but their personalities leave a lot to be desired. อ่านเพิ่มเติม

Loved the amenities! Nice resort, clean room, great price and plenty to do! Only complaints are when you get your "welcome package" the were slightly pushy about the Timeshare presentation, the curtains were dirty and broken, and the furniture was quite dated. Would stay here again!!

My family enjoyed a lovely 2 night stay at Greensprings resort. The suite was beautiful and clean and we had every amenity at our disposal. We stayed during the Winter off season rates which was an excellent deal. The beds were very comfortable, washing and drying units were available. The kitchen was nicer than my own! This property is next to a golf course and among other upscale neighborhoods on the outskirts of Williamsburg. It's a short drive to shopping, dining, and other area attractions.

The resort is undergoing renovations however you would never know it by the looks of things! Everything is still very nice, clean and quiet! We stayed in a newly renovated 2 bedroom and it was beautiful!!!! My only dislike was that the 2nd Bedroom does not have a tv in it. The activity center was ver nice and the staff were very friendly from the Gate […] Security to the Receptionist! Be sure to ask for a renovated unit. I thought the resort was beautiful! They have a basketball court, mini golf, indoor/outdoor pools, playgrounds etc. Full of things to do and activities. Our only complaint is the top of our curtains were really dusty, dated furniture, timeshare pitch and calls (unplug the phone!), and the living room curtain track was broken and hard to close. We have stayed at Greensprings before and always recommend it to everyone. Its a little bit of a drive from downtown Colonial Williamsburg but well worth it for the peace, quiet and more room than your standard hotel. We will go back!

Very simply put the resort is just fine. The only problem was the super high pressure timeshare presentation that lasted twice as long as promised (nearly 4 hours in total). The salesman would not take no for an answer. My wife and I have never been so glad to get out of a room!!!
