Really enjoyed this hôtel really near everything would recommend

Very beautiful hotel and great staff.no need to speak French, there is always a bilingual staff. Location is amazing,walking distance to all of old Quebec. Only drawback is noise level...can easily hear what is happenning in hallway. Will stay there again at my next visit.

Prime location in Old Quebec - easily walk around the old city and close to the arch to get to the newer section too. Our car battery crapped out on us while it was waiting to be valeted. They helped us every step of the way on New Year Eve to find taxis to help jump our vehicle and to find a shop that could handle and help us at the last minute on […] the day before a holiday. The Hotel Clarendon, like many European hotels, small and minimalist. The room was small, but sufficient for 2 people. It had all the amenities that I needed. The bed, however, was very hard. We had friends who stayed in the same hotel and said the same thing. Everything else was wonderful. The front desk was friendly, and the valet is only 1 or 2 dollars […] more than parking yourself. We stayed at this hotel during our one day visit to Quebec city. It has a superb location within walking distance to all attractions and what the old city has to offer. It is an old hotel, rooms are rather small but very clean and orderly. We had no problems during our stay. Good place to stay.

The Clarendon is a beautiful hotel in the old town close to all the sights. Service is excellent, concierges very helpful. Beautiful bar/restaurant. Great buffet breakfast at a reduced rate if you book it the night before.

extremely disappointed with the bathroom. Toilet Bowl very small and installed against the wall, your left leg did not fit, had to use bowel sideways. Also in poor condition, the toilet bowel over flowed with first flushing, they immediately came to "fix" problem, but then next morning same problem. We checked out the next morning, we just did not feel […] comfortable. Made a full report at the front desk, they took note. We rate the room little above standard but bathroom way below standard. Boyfriend and I stayd for two nights and three days. Location is perfect, convinience in beautiful neighborhood. Front desk is very helpful and friendly. I like well-clearned bathroom. We would like to back the Hotel Claredon together another season.

Great location. Nice people.

Very friendly staff. Small rooms but clean. A bit noisy - could hear people talking in the halls. Amazing jazz lounge, definitely check it out. Great location close to everything. We would stay here again for sure!

good location,good hotel

The hotel is in a great, central location, easy to walk to from the station but up hill. The room was clean but small and dark. The basin in the bathroom was cracked. I don't know what cleaning products they use in this hotel but they smell very strong - overpowering. The staff on reception when we checked in were not particularly welcoming.

excellent location excellent staff very quick valet parking would recommend to stay at Claredon and will go back!

Beautiful old style hotel with all the modern conveniences. The location made for easy access to the sites and scenes of Old Town Quebec. Enjoyed great jazz group on Friday and Saturday evening.

Great location! Nice staff, really enjoyed staying at this hotel. Walking distance to everything.

Loved this hotel - everything is within walking distance to all "must sees" in Quebec. Being the oldest hotel in Quebec, it is full of character and charm. Loved our room on the top floor with views of the Chateau Frontenac and Holy Trinity Church. Staff was very friendly and helpful. A+ on this hotel

Would return to this hotel everyone most cheerful and helpful. Surprised to see how close it was to so many places of interest.

Excellent location in old Québec. Good service, clean rooms. Although public parking appears to be available across the street at the Hôtel de Ville, it was closed at the time of our visit. Valet parking is abit expensive at $25.00 a day.

Well located Friendly staff Rooms are quite noisy ( poor sound isolation, from other rooms, from mechanical noises ) Mattress quite hard

everything was very nice but the bed was really rather hard and a few more pillows would have been a "nice to have"

We ahd a great time and the Hotel was very service oriented. We left the hotel to go continue our vacation in Quebec City and I forgot our passport portfolio in the room safe. I called the front desk and Michael ran to our room and retrived our documnets and immediately called me to ensure all was well and safe. We returned to the hotel and our documents […] were all in order. Well Done. Only one minor issue is the restaurant was being moved and was not in service. However, the included breakfest was still in place and very good. This is the best location in Old Quebec. We park the car at hotel valet and never use it for four days of stay. The hotel was very clean, and the service very good. Our room – one double bad was very small on the first floor. We did not like the view more than the size of the room and asked for a bigger room on higher floors. Kindly staff immediately […] offered two available rooms (two double bads or one queen bad) with reasonble additional charges. It was our second visit to Quebec City and this hotel. We were delighted to arrive in the exquisite historical city of Quebe and find that our hotel was in the best location possible, within walking distance to all the top sights. The concierge confirmed dinner reservations, obtained a carriage ride (best way to orient oneself to the walled city) for us, provided maps, provided comforts with graciousness. […] The breakfast was plentiful and delicious, served by friendly staff. Very nice hotel -- convenient location, pleasant staff, clean.

We were extremely satisfied with our stay. The location was excellent - we parked our car and were able to walk around the entire old city. The staff were very friendly and accomodating. The room, although slightly small was elegantly decorated, comfortable and very clean When we return to Quebec City, we will certainly stay at the Clairmont !

Excellent location in old city. Parking available in municipal garage at lesser rate than hotel valet with access to hotel. Should drop your luggage first at hotel entrance. Beds were very hard and low; not like newly modern fashioned beds. However, very clean accomodations.

wonderful. Middle of Old Quebec. Convenient to restaurants and sights. Great little cocktail lounge with great service and drinks. Beautiful restaurant. Great breakfast buffet. Very helpful and friendly staff. Not handicapped accessible though.

The hotel is central for all you could want in the old town of Quebec,but if you are using your car to see the surounding area and use the public car park it costs you14$ per visit I paid 42 $in one day that really made me mad .The hotel charges 25$per day for all in/out parking but I think that is excesive and should be reduced .

Claredon Hotel is a Great Hoteal in a Great location

Wonderfull historic hotel in the heart of the old city. Very nice accomodations with a staff that was very friendly, bi-lingual and eager to help. The restuarant in the hotel was outstanding also with a staff that was excellent!

Great location. Polite and helpful staff. Classy lobby. Room somewhat small, since the hotel is historic. Good breakfast buffet.

A very old ,yet comfortable hotel which has a great loaction that allows you to walk to most of Quebec's attractions. Breakfasts are not include, but are verygood.

The hotel was clean, the room nicely appointed and the service very good. It is the perfect location to see all the sights in Old Quebec. It is the best hotel stay we have had in Quebec City and we will definitely stay there again.

One might say our room was small, and it was, but we decided to embrace it and call it cozy. We didn't even bother asking for a bigger room. Except for having to be creative in where we put our suitcases, our stay at the Hotel Clarendon was wonderful. The location is excellent. You pay extra for parking, but it was very convenient and reasonable. The […] staff were warm, welcoming and helpful, and the hotel is charming. Breakfast (make sure you see the front desk the night before for a discount voucher) was hot and plentiful. We very rarely stay at the same hotel twice, preferring to try new places, but I would not hesitate to book another stay at the Hotel Clarendon if we ever get the opportunity to visit Quebec City again. Our stay at the Claredon was wonderful. Staff very accomodating. We did, however, find the beds in our room too hard. May want to consider foam toppers for the beds Thank you. On our next visit, we would have no concerns about staying with you again.

The room was small, plumbing was noisy. Towels were thin and nothing was plugged in. Very tired furnishings that didn't match nor were they charming. BUT the location was excellent.
