Room was clean but overall the hotel is a bit "tired". There are other hotels I've stay in within the area that have much newer design and furnishings. Positives: Decent rate, good breakfast, clean room, close to a lot of restaurants and shops and very close to the Air & Space Museum in Chantilly, VA. Staff management for me was fine and helpful (needed to use the fax). However, as I was checking in late a man was asking for 5 towels to use at the pool for he, his wife, and three kids. The room is big and comfortable for our family of 4. Some things could use upgrading (bathroom door did not lock, shower had a rust stain), but the beds were very comfortable and the free breakfast was better than most. Also the staff was very friendly, professional and efficient. Definately well run and well worth the money.

The room was comfortable (great bed) EXCEPT for the loud banging in the hallway and the excessive amount of light coming through both the door and the window (aren't hotel rooms supposed to be completely blacked out)? This was a nice, clean hotel. Room was a good size. Decent pool. I have no complaints.

Intense chemical cleaner smell throughout the halls and rooms. Windows don't open to ventilate. Older furniture and carpet. Average rooms. I stay in hotels in this area every week. I will not be returning to this one.

It's a shame that you don't serve Belgian waffles anymore. Also your breakfast has no meat options for non-vegetarians.

We stayed at this hotel for one night. Our room came ith a king size bed as well as a pull out sofa. the room was very clean, however, there was a weird smell in the hallway. We weren't sure if it was the cleaner they used or something else, kinda smelled skunky. the free breakfast could have been great. But they also had yogurt, hard boiled eggs, sausage patties, some weird potato casserole that had what tasted like green chili mixed in with it, and waffle mix. by 8am they quit serving the waffle mix, ran out of coffee, and were running out of al lot of the other stuff. We were told that breakfast was served until 10 am, but not at the rate it was going. Oh and the ice machine on the 4th floor didn't work and had no sign letting you know where to find another one. The staff was well trained and very attentive. I thought I had s problem with tv and there were there in three minute. I would defintley stsy there again.

The hotel was acceptable. We were a little disappointed when the hotel pool was closed for New Years Day when I had specifically looked for a hotel with an indoor pool for our children. Staff was professional and breakfast was okay. This was a good hotel for a brief stay. The location was convenient to the airport.

Great price on a good chain hotel. Older building but remodeled with good beds. Hot breakfast on offer and close to all the shopping you could ever need!

Had a maintenance issue in the room (shower curtain rod not secure) which they took care of readily. Plus the breakfast was nothing fancy but well maintained and the staff was very helpful and pleasant even though it was crowded due to a convention

Visited from NY for a wedding. Location of the hotel is in the location of a plaza mall. Tons of stores for shopping and food. Gas station, CVS, 7-11, deli's. There was even a pool hall in the strip for something to do. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Room was as expected from the pictures, clean and comfortable. The only issue that I had with my stay was the lack of hot water when trying to take a shower. Very luke warm water when I attempted to shower in the morning and even the evening. My mother recently stayed at this Comfort Suites and the room had bed bugs. When she notified the front desk they told they will look into the matter. I have tried contacting the manager on several occasions and never received a call from her. My mother had to throw away her luggage and clothing. Nice hotel. Quiet close to Dulles Airport.

Very comfortable stay. Nice rooms decent accommodations. Fair breakfast although it could last longer. 6-9 am became a problem because of the number of guests made it dificult to get food before time ended.

We chose Comfort Suites Chantilly to take the stress out of arriving at the airport for a mid-morning flight. Good thing we did, too! Outside was a traffic nightmare from drenching rains and floods. Hotel is getting an overall facelift. It is looking good. Room was clean, mgmt nice and helpful, breakfast saisfactory. Prob stay again if close by.

My family of 6 stayed in one of the suites and we had enough room for everyone to stretch out and sleep comfortably. We wanted a reasonably priced suite that would not break the bank and still fit us all. The kids enjoyed the indoor pool and the large TV. The only downfall is the free breakfast in the morning. We used this hotel as the home base for our exploration of the DC area. It was less than 10 minutes from the Metro, and Dulles (National Air and Space Museum); The desk employees were so helpful - ready to send us at anytime on their convenient shuttle to Dulles or the museum to save on the high parking fees. Rooms were clean and cleaned daily. Pool was only 4ft deep but indoor, heated, clean and manned by a lifeguard. The location had no airport noise yet was convenient to the airport and local eateries with much better rates and much more room than those nearer the downtown area. The hotel was nice and convenient for visiting the new Air and Space museum and there are a ton of restaurants nearby. However, my kids had bed bug bites all over them and are still itching. If they take care of that problem, the hotel would be a great choice.

we had been on the road for 7 hours and were very tired!!! we checked in and were sent to one room....smelled like a smoking room...but no smoking was allowed. Our room was dirty, moldy and it smelled bad. Yuk. Also, the hot water didn't work very well. The shower stall in the bathroom was moldy and cracked and even broken off in some places. Excellent midpriced motel. Super friendly, knowledgeble and helpful staff. Wonderful hot breakfast, including waffles. Large, well appointed rooms. Complementary shuttle to Dullas, even if you have a rental car as I did. I took my car back the night before, they came and got me and then took me right to my terminal door the next morning. After staying in some not so great hotels, we were very pleased to have found the Comfort Suites Chantilly, VA. clean, neat, and well maintained. That's about all I ask for in a hotel stay. We plan on returning to spend more time in Washington, DC and we will be staying here even though it is farther away from DC than some other hotels. Convenient to all necessities..

Traveling with our 4 dogs from Key West to NH. Wonderful experience -- great staff, room and services. Also, close to shopping!

This hotel is a little cheaper than the surrounding hotels in that area but it is up there in quality. This hotel is amazing. It is located near everything. You can walk next door to a 7eleven and across the street is a steakhouse and kfc. Shopping area just a block away but even though it has all that, it is not even noisey. There was a little incident […] where the front desk person forgot to get my shuttle ready but he was able to fix it by having the hotel pay for a cab so I wont be late. They locked the doors the first night we were there and nobody was at the front desk to let us in at 12:30 am. another guest was leaving so we go in that way. The airport shuttle stinks, doesn't run the time they say

This hotel was nice and clean. It is hard to locate a room that will accomodate a family of five, but this one did by including a pull out sofa bed. The bedding was very comfortable. Hotel staff was helpful and would print directions for you when inquiring how to get to various places (post office, Metro station, etc.) A lifeguard was on duty at all […] times when the pool was open. This hotel was only 8-10 minutes away from a Metro station which made it quick and easy to get into DC.
