Gorgeous property, great service, gracious staff, service is their top priority. Will surely return.

In Marie Selby Gardens every Christmas they have a Festival of Lights. We decided to stay at the Ritz- Carlton one night then go to the festival. There is only one word for the Ritz-Carlton- Awesome! Awesome three nights. The entire staff is absolutely wonderful. Service is first rate, and the amenities are perfect. We celebrated our ten year weddiing anniversary. Another Ritz experience that is unmatched. From champagne at the check-in to luxurious robes at the spa, every detail was tremendous. Highly aware staff and convenient location with access to everything Sarasota. Perfect.

The hotel is fantastic. Service, location, beach club excellent. Rooms are average size, but the bathrooms are large with double sinks and every room comes with a balcony. Free shuttle to the beach club 10 minutes away with excellent facilities - 3 pools, restaurant, beach amenities. Great service everywhere we went. Couldn't ask for more.

My sister and I stayed at the Ritz in Sarasota for one night while visiting my grandmother for her 99th birthday. When my grandmother came to visit everyone treated her like a queen. The hotel is beuatiful and the staff was wonderful.

We stay at the Ritz a few times a year...We love it , especially their Beach Club..The hotel is nice, BUT there are a few parts that could use some rennovations...Game Room, and some hallways looked drab and old..Overall its a great hotel and staff are so nice

The access to the Beach Club is a great addition to the stay, especially if you have children, as the terrific pool(s), and clean Gulf beach area, locker rooms and Club service are all top notch.

Is this really a Ritz Carlton hotel ?? I think not. Over priced and in need of an upgrade...example, we stayed on the fouth floor and carpets are worn and in need of replacement. We will not stay at this hotel again...reminds me of the 70's song...." 3 dressed up as a 9..."

I love the Ritz. The rooms are very nice but nothing spectacular, however the service is what it is all about at the Ritz. I felt very well taken care of. Impeccable service make the experience absolutely wonderful.

I decided to stay at the Ritz Carlton Sarasota for one night since I was up that way from Miami to attend a boat show. The room was very nice, clean and comfortable. The service at the three restaruants we attended was very nice. I particulary liked the restaurant at the Ritz Carlton Club, a short shuttle ride away, where we witnessed a wonderful sunset […] over the sandy white beach and turquoise sea. My only complaint about the hotel is their doorman who we nearly had to tussle our bags from on the way in and who shook us down for a tip on the way out even though he did not provide any service other than placing our bags in the trunk of our car from the curb, at his persistance. In most respects a good hotel but the most important thing for me in a hotel [at any price] is the ability to get an undisturbed night's sleep. Due to poor soundproofing, this is not garunteed and no level of service is going to make up for this.

When we arrived to check in, it was about 1030pm on a Sunday and it was difficult to identify which portico was for check in and when we pulled under the portico we assumed to be the main entrance, no one came out, so we drove around a second time... then the bell hop came out.... overall, everyone was very attentive and the stay was just what we e […] xpected! อ่านเพิ่มเติม

Just had a terrific stay at the Ritz-Carleton in Sarasota. The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. Nothing was ever a problem. We ate in the hotel's dining room on Saturday evening and the food was very good. I would definitely recommended this hotel to anyone.

The stay was most enjoyable except how the Door Man and Bell Man work to get extra tips from you. I gave the Bell Man a generous tip to take my bags out to the car upon checking out and asked him to see that they were put in the car, which he assured me he would. However, when I got to the car, my bags were standing next to it waiting for the Door Man […] to load them so I could give him a tip too. I have stayed at this Ritz multiple times, and have been a frequent guest at Ritz properties around the world. This was the first time that I was not satisfied. The room was extremely loud, as if there was no sound proofing of any aspect on the walls. I could hear every noise coming out of the room next to me, as well as the elevator area.

I travel to Sarasota on business, but staying at the Ritz Carlton always makes it feel like a pleasure. I never even have time to use all of the lovely beach and pool facilities, but still get that luxurious resort feeling.

It was grateful, exellent exprience every staff in the hotel were very friendly, very kind, very helpul. now I know why is Ritz Carlton! it was wonderful moment!

If you can afford this hotel, it's the best option in the area. If you can't the secnod best would be to stay at the 4-star Hilton next door. They are generally cheaper and actually have a better pool. The downside is it's not on the beach, but they have shuttle and complementary valet parking at their own beach club 15 minutes away.

This hotel is centrally located near the marina and downtown Sarasota. In fact we often walked as it is a very safe area. Although we had a "city view", we could still see the bay from our balcony. Our room was small, but extremely clean and well appointed. I loved the big cushy bed, but it proved to be too soft for my husband as he complained of backache. […] The staff was extremely attentive, friendly, and professional. Everyone from the bellman, valet, front desk, and concierge was happy to answer our questions and offer suggestions. The only complaint was in addition to the daily parking fee + tax, hubby was annoyed that we were expected to tip the valet every time we got in or out of our car. One time we just wanted to get something out of the car. Hubby offered to go get it himself, but of course they wouldn't tell him where it was parked. The hotel provides a free shuttle to the beach club which is about 3 miles away. Although the beach chairs are free, one must pay a daily fee + gratuity for an umbrella. This did include a table, a pitcher of ice water, and two cups. We spent a relaxing day at the beach all day our first day in town. The hotel is beautiful, staff very friendly, great location to local beaches and shopping. However, with our reduced rate we ended up with no view and placed on the 2nd floor where we could hear the jazz group below. It wasn't loud but you were aware of it. I would consider paying a little more to get a room higher up with a view.

We had a great experience. The staff at the Ritz-Carlton is excellent!!! Very warm and friendly atmosphere. The only thing that I would have changed is that we were on the 2nd floor and heard the band until they stopped playing. I was a bit hesitant about checking into the Ritz-Carlton, Sarasota based on some reviews I read about the "gratuity expectations" of the staff. I went ahead with the reservation, and was extremely pleased with the hotel and service. WE stayed at the Club Level, which was well worth the additional cost for the room per night for the 4 fodd presentations […] and complimentary drinks throughout the day. This was my first stay at a Ritz-Carlton, so I have nothing to compare to, but I thought the service was spectacular. Everyone was friendly. They didn't just answer your question, but also made small talk. They went out of there way to tend to our every need. No matter where we were, every staff member was willing to help us with questions beyond the scope of their job. We had an issue with our safe, and the housemaid got someone immediately to our room to fix the problem. Our waiter at breakfast offered to help make arrangements for us to take the shuttle to the beach club. We never had to wait more than 2 minutes for anything. My girlfriend and I just spent a weekend at the Ritz-Sarasota. We had a very very nice time. The beach resort was the best- exceeded all expectations. Good food all around. To anyone looking for a great place to stay, do it. We were always impressed. The people were so professional and we loved the turn-down service. We booked through hotels.com and […] this was cheaper, especially with the reconnect package. We did have trouble with billing, in that they charged us, even though it was pre-paid, but they fixed that right away at checkout.. just something to keep an eye on. My family and I stayed at the Ritz for 3 nights. Let me begin by stating the obvious, which is that the Ritz is a beautiful hotel surrounded by outstanding landscaping. We stayed in a suite which was lovely, although the rug was stained. As far as the staff, there were certain areas that could use some improvements. We had a problem with housekeeping, whereby the MAN who was to clean our room entered without knocking and we had placed our DO NOT DISTURB sign on the door. Now I was just relieved that my teenage girls were not alone in the room and that they were dressed. Also, we had a problem with our bill, not once, but twice! They charged us for the room, which we had already paid with hotels.com. We brought this to their attention, and they apologized, but then did it again! Mycket fint hotell, i underbara Sarasota. Hotellet ligger en bit från stranden, men de erbjuder gratis skjuts till stranden, till systerhotellets beachclub. Mycket fint poolområde.
