only a few minute walk from victoria station. Staff was wonderful, room was spacious, clean and very comfortable beds. easy walk to must see sights. Have stayed in several London hotels and this was our favorite. Will stay again.

We chose this hotel due to the location close to Victoria Train Station. It's a very easy walk (even dragging a suitcase) to the station. It was very easy to get to the Gatwick Express. The hotel was VERY full when we arrived due to a conference they were hosting, which probably was why they weren't flexible about check-in time. We got there at 11 AM […] after an overnight flight but they couldn't check us in early. Very impressed. We were only there for one night, but the room was excellent, the bed very comfortable, breakfast very tasty and the whole hotel had a really nice feel to it.

London hotels are usually very expensive but this isa great value hotel, with all the comforts and more that you would require. Free WiFi, restaurant, helpful front desk staff and also a health club. A very average hotel by 4 Star standards. It starts with being difficult to phone reception as Park Plaza think everyone calling wants the Reservation Centre and would have no other reason to contact the Front Desk. The in-room phones appear dead when you pick-up the handset. Need to contact reception to tell them this? Get in the elevator as your cellphone […] is useless 'cause you don't have a number for them. (turns out you have to press a button to select a Line first. This, while a simple solution, is not intuitive. Minibar remained locked despite the staff reserving my credit card for its use. Breakfast: Ridiculously overpriced at €22. Should you be foolish enough to pay it and request an Americano, to accompany the most expensive bowl of fruit ever, one of the unempathetic staff will stoically employ this hotel's policy to screw you out of absolutely every cent they possibly can as they inform you of the premium charge for such a delicacy. It's pour-over or bust here. European norms of Espresso-based coffee is a decided luxury in this Ryanairesque outfit. I stayed here for 4 nights for a conference -this was not just a one-off bad experience. Once I got feet on-the-ground, I noted a Premier Inn around the corner -at a fraction of the price. What a great hotel, we stayed for 2 nights over a weekend and enjoyed every moment. The plaza was by far the best hotel I have ever stayed in. The service, food and rooms were top of the range. Memory foam king size mattress for the best night sleep. The breakfast buffet was was top quality. The staff working were extremely helpful and polite. The lobby […] was a very busy place and there wee always more the one receptionist to help with anything. I really enjoyed my stay here. The hotel was a 3 minute walk from Victoria bus and underground station. So it was easy to get about. I would love to stay here again and will seriously considering I stay London again. Quiet, comfortable, spacious room within walking distance of many sights and very close to underground station. Courteous service and easy check-in and check-out. Victoria is an expensive part of town but, compared to other less highly rated hotels in the vicinity we felt this hotel offered good value for a quality 4-star hotel. Breakfast is very expensive, […] and there are lots of options within a few steps of the front door, so not really necessary. Not quite so many eating options near-by if you prefer to avoid chain restaurants, but easy enough to get to other parts of town and plenty of options if you'd prefer to stay near the hotel. Stayed here for two nights during London Marathon weekend. Right next to Victoria station, so it was very easy getting around London and getting to and from London City Airport. Staff very friendly. Rooms were fine. Would say here again.

It is walking distance to the tube, the apollo theatre (they are showing Wicked there). The room is really great for any type of stay, it is very roomy for London standards but there is bumping sensation on the headboard of the bed. My guess is that when the neighbors open their luggage, it hits the wall sending a vibration to the wall behind the bed. […] Very good service, we had quite a difficulty with the flushing system because I think the standard is that you have to flush 3 consecutive times before the toilet actually flushes. We had to call Maintenance to have it fixed, then the operator called us up after to ensure it was done. How neat is that? The food in the lobby is fantastic! Stayed here for 3 nights with friends. Hotel is lovely and rooms were very clean though a bit too warm! All staff we dealt with were lovely especially Danny the concierge who was so helpful and friendly! The hotel is a two minute walk from victoria station and is close to some lovely cafes and restaurants nearby Pattesserie Valerie was expecially good […] for breakfast. The hotel was nice enough and staff very friendly. The only downside was our room was adjacent the lift and something needed oiling! It was making a loud squeeking type noise everytime it was used meaning it wasn't the best nights sleep I've had!

Stayed here while visiting London with my 10-year old son last week. Because my room was not available when we arrived (after a red-eye flight) we were offered an upgrade for 45 pounds which I'm so glad we took. We upgraded to an executive suite and it gave us lots of room for the two of us to spend the week in. Like me - the Brits love baths and tubs are always deep and long. The staff are hit and miss. Friendly enough but many of them struggle in English (the hotel, as many in London, seems to be a great place for young people travelling and working abroad). I can't pinpoint anything that was really wrong - I just seemed to question whether they understood me when I spoke to them. Had difficulty with the temperature in the room - the system was stuck on hot. So an engineer was sent up to fix it. All he did was open the window to let cool air in. It did the trick I guess. Good, convenient location. Internet was more trouble than it was worth - too many screens/passwords, and would have to go through the process every day - not just once.

Very modern, clean and comfortable hotel near many nice restaurants. Close to Victoria station (5 min walk). Large rooms with clean, tiled, modern bath with tub and shower. Complete, large, breakfast buffet with nice service. Only complaint was the room could not be cooled. In winter, no A/C available. A very good class of hotel in central location - a few hundred yards from Victoria.. Staff all very pleasant and good breakfast buffet. Only downside is that "city view" room was on 1st floor overlooking ground floor roof and extraction systems and an office block.

The room was large and although fittings showed some signs of wear everything we required was there but had no time to check amenitiies. Beautiful glasses and ice bucket a real plus if we had time to use them. We understood restaurant was being upgraded but also had no time to check and breakfast (6.30 to 11.00am) was self service in a function room […] on ground floor and had excellent choice. We had a lie in after visiting the Victoria Appollo theatre (a few hundred yards away) and were caught in rush at 9.00am but this was dealt with by the staff opening another room. Speedy checkout and we were off to meet some of our family for an enjoyable day out. I stayed at this hotel for one night with the missus and we were both very disappointed. The room, although fairly spacious, was very old and "plain". During the booking, we requested a king-size bed (we had a choice of twin beds or king-size) but once there we found that it was two single beds (two single divans and two mattresses) held together with […] a bed sheet. Nice, clean room, comfortable accommodations and courteous staff. Good value for money but this was probably due to restaurant renovation, which meant that drilling could be heard as early as 9:00 AM. Nevertheless, this was not a deal breaker for me.

A good place to stay and conveniently close to Victoria (especially if you are arriving from Gatwick). The rooms are large and comfortable with tea facilities and a Nespresso. I have recommended this hotel to two individuals that have expressed interest in visiting London. The hotel was very clean, updated and nicely located for a tourist, however, the great experience was due to the Park Plaza’s staff - extremely professional and focused on supporting the guests. We arrived very early new year’s day, tired from an overnight […] flight and the staff was awesome in helping us get check in as early as possible to allow us to settle in and rest. What a great first impression! I travel quite a bit for work and I can honestly say our experience at the hotel was extraordinary. A very modern spacious hotel. Room was a great size (not typical for London) albeit a little warm even though it was chilly outside.. Very clean room and bathroom. Breakfast was nice too - plenty of hot and cold choice. Not too many eating choices around the hotel so wish I had tried the dinner there. Overall very happy with my 2 night stay.

So close to Victoria, which meant easy access to/from Gatwick, just a tube stop away from the exhibitions we wre going to. Great breakfast range and pleasant staff. The gentleman we had checking us in and out was so courteous.

Spent six days in Jan 2013 here. Good value for business standard hotel in v central London. Excellent staffed business centre with Wifi , good coffee and snacks (drinks and canapes at 1800 every night too). Refurbishing restaurant but will be done by the time you read this....

Great location, lots of space, just found it to be quite hot in the room for sleeping and could not get air conditioning to work. But I can not complain because I never did ask the front desk for any help. Would definately stay there again or recommend to others
