Tankersley Manor - QHotels - South Yorkshire (เคาน์ตี)

We really enjoyed the pool, jacuzzi, sauna and steam room which were all very well appointed. The staff were all very polite and helpful. We have a top 10 hotel breakfast list, the first day it was in our top 3, but the second day it became number 1. Poached eggs to die for!!! we would definitely stay again. Thank you.

the hotel is a classic looking olde style manor , never expecting it set 200 mtrs from a roundabout for m1, great hotel enjoyed my stay, leisure centre brilliant all the staff where very helpfull and friendly, made my bussiness stay acceptable. home from home.

Comfortable quiet room. Very helpful staff. Good breakfast. Really no complaints.

The room was nicley decorated but smelt of paint. Our heating did not work on the second day of our stay. It took two phone calls to get maintance up to our room to look at the problem. The manager did move us upgrading us to another room. This room was very nice but we caught four black body Ladybugs type bugs in our room. Completed recent visit to England and one of highlights of trip was our stay at this beautiful property. So much history and heritage, complimented by excellent service in pub for dinner, great gym facilities, and excellent array of food selections for breakfast delivered by outstanding and personable service team. Would highly recommend to anyone.

Gluten free options on the restaurant, the bar meals and the room service meant we were two very happy customers and could eat without any worries (understand this is the case throughout the Q hotels chain). Staff in the restaurant and the bar were extremely pleasant and professional, staff on reception were a bit young and full of themselves but ok. […] Room was comfortable and pleasant, only gripe was no tea or coffee making facilities. We unfortunately left two jackets in the wardrobe and were very pleased that they were located and returned to us by post very quickly.

Having had a week going round the Cheshire Ring on a narrow boat Tankersley manor was an ideal place to relax and use as a base for a few days while we explored the area before heading to Leeds for a family wedding. Brilliant location - just off the motorway - so travelling back to Folkestone after the wedding was easy. The staff were cheerful and […] friendly; especially the breakfast serving staff! The breakfast menu was just right, and the additional meals that we had in the restaurant might have looked 'designer' but were tasty and filling. The added bonus of a swimming pool and spa facilities was another attraction. Have been a number of times to this hotel and found it really lovely. My only complaint this time, although might sound trivial, the plates for the breakfast were stone cold, which doesn't help to keep the breakfasts hot and we did not receive a newspaper the first day, which we requested.

Great service at this hotel and we liked the fact it was on the trans penine trail so some good walking nearby. The two hours free internet was appreciated as was the lovely beer garden - perfect for such a hot weekend! Thank you folks.

Staff are friendly generally clean hotel. Rooms are getting a little tired and frayed but are clean and comfortable which is the main thing I guess. Bedding etc is all good and clean. Gym is good enough nothing massive but enough to work out, pool is a nice place to relax but as with all hotels not really an exercise pool. If you are staying for a […] while the food menu gets a bit limited and being in the middle of nowhere means you can be a little bit trapped but for a few nights its more than adequate. For me being away from other options for food was offset by being able to walk to work in the morning while I stayed. Like most hotels they have a limit on free broadband which is really just trying to milk the clientel but with so many hotels doing this to thier clients I guess its to be expected. We'd only been looking for a last minute hotel to rest our heads after a concert at Don Valley Stadium. Expecting a business-type hotel, we were delighted with this gorgeous old building. From checking in to departing the hotel was great- the staff were friendly, the room was clean, tidy and comfortable and the food was fantastic. I was staying over as part of a wedding party and we could not fault the hotel for anything- thoroughly recommend
