Nice place with lots of free amenities, to include free wi-fi, long distance calls, breakfast and afternoon food and drinks (no kidding--not-half-bad wine). Only complaint was slow housekeeping service. We got in after 5:00 one night and room hadn't been done. A call to the front desk got fairly quick service. Nice, clean place with friendly service

The whole family enjoyed the stay and the hotel. The services are good and the location excellent for the shopping experience at McAllen. The breakfast is plenty and with variety. Good hotel!

Very roomy. 5:00 complimentary drinks and food is nice.

Special kudos to Ms. Vivi Lozano and Mr. Greg Castillio! We arrived early--about 1 PM--and were greeted by Ms. Lozano's beaming smile and cordial greeting. We explained we had been on the road for 4 1/2 hours and were hoping to check in a little early. She quickly found our reservation and prepaid two night stay. I said I'm an old retired service man […] and wonder if there's anything that could be done to get us into a room a bit early. She said just a moment and went back to speak with Mr. Greg Castillio, the manager on duty. She and Greg proceeded to upgrade us into a 2 bedroom suite for our stay. What premiere accommodations! The best in the Rio Grande Valley. Close to everything! And what service! Over our 2 day stay Greg shared with us many facts and tips about McAllen and Edinburg where our daughter is beginning a graduate degree program. And, Greg even served a great little Margarita during the 5:30 wind down. We met fellow travelers shared conversation and experiences. But, without a doubt, it was the hospitality and service of the entire staff including Vivi and Greg that will keep us coming back to the Drury Inn & Suites in McAllen every time we are in the Valley. Breakfast is great! And evening snacks are even better, almost equal to a dinner. Full-kitted kitchen is a surprise. However, pool is too small.

Hotel personnel were great, room was great, but we had our pickup mirrors and XM antennea stolen during the night in the parking lot. Hotel lacks security, we had friends stay at other hotel where they had better security, video securtiy cameras that front desk could view all the outside of their hotel. Cops told us that is a common thing in that area. […] Should have known something was up when every parking area for neighboring hotels and businesses have signs all over that you are parking at your own risk. Hotel should invest in a security system, because I won't stay there again if they don't improve their security. The signs they put up seem to be placed their for their legal reasons, but bring no comfort to the people parking in the hotel parking lot. Quedamos muy contentos por la excelente atencion que tuvieron con nosotros. Pocas veces me hospedo en un hotel con estas buenas caracteristicas. Lo recomiendo apliamente.

Desde mi punto de vista -muy personak- es un hotel que no le pide nada a hoteles de 4-5 estrellas en mexico, pues su ubicaciòn esta muy bien pero sobre todo el servicio que da pues la camarederia con que lo tratan a uno los que alli trbajan es excelente, los alimentos buenos y ariados, bien en todo, felicidades y gracias a Edgar y a Joe, ojala y sigan […] asì de amables y con esa actitud de servicio อ่านเพิ่มเติม

El trato muy bueno el Gerente Greg de 10 el Hotel muy limpio y buen plan de alimentos incluidos. lo recomiendo.
