Over-all great experience. Only thing I can suggest is cheese with the continental breakfast!

They offer free DVDs to watch in your room and even make a bowl of popcorn to munch on during the movie!! Hotel Du Vieux offered all the comforts of home and more! I look forward to returning! My girlfriend & I would highly reccommend this hotel! Location is perfect for everything from shops to beautiful restaurants, pubs & all the local interests Quebec has to offer. Just like everyone else said, the hotel really is well situated. People were friendly and helpful and if you go to the restaurant next door, try the mussels! I would recommend this hotel to anyone who asked.

This hotel is right in the heart of old Quebec. It's an awesome location. It's walking distance to the castle Frontenac and little shops and resturants. the hotel is very nice and helpful. We were cheerfully greeted, the staff was both friendly and helpful, the location was perfect and the ease of garage access (very close and you can come and go at will using access card) made our stay easy and enjoyable. I don't generally write reviews after staying in a hotel but I feel that this hotel warrants one. The hotel was very clean, the room comfortable and the staff could not have been more freindly and helpful. I would definately stay at this hotel again and would recommend it to my freinds and family.

Beautiful lounge for guests with games, DVD players in rooms. Books and movies on loan. Great restaurants right next door. Friendly and good price. Comfortable as most chains. Small but great

Every facet of our stay met or exceeded our expectations. The fully bilingual staff was exceptional. The breakfast baskets were a wonderful surprise. Very clean, comfortable, affordable and centrally located in the heart of old Quebec. Would definitely recommend this hotel!!

The location was good for carnaval. Close to good restaurants and the free new DVDs at the desk came in handy during the snow flurries. The breakfasts were also nice.

HOTEL DU VIEUX IS A CHARMING HOTEL IN THE THE HEART OF OLD QUEBEC. THE SERVICE WAS EXCELLENT AND THE ROOM WAS CLEAN AND COMFORTABLE. THE BREAKAST BASKET WAS DELIGHTFUL! WE WILL STAY THERE ON OUR NEXT VISIT TO QUEBEC CITY.

This is our third stay at this hotel. And we will stay there again on next visit.

The staff was great, our room was fantastic. Shopping and dining just steps away. You would have to be crazy not to stay here. The Hertz rental counter is around the corner.

We were pleasantly surprised about the location and parking. However, our suburban was too big for the designated garage. My family and I totally LOVED this place! The location was convenient to all the tourist sites. It was clean, inviting, and comfortable. We stayed Oct 1-4 at this wonderful hotel. Lovely accommodations and we loved the morning picnic basket with our continental breakfast in it. Hotel has recently undergone a remodel, and it was very well executed. Rooms are quite pleasant. Wi-fi was reasonably quick. Location is really right where we wanted to be - convenient to all points in both old upper and lower town. The breakfast provided each morning was fresh, nourishing, and tasty. I was really happy with this hotel, the location was fantastic, right in the middle of Old Quebec. The rooms and service were both great. I'd stay here again.

Nice location, but the service was absolutely not good.Never I had in my travel a breakfast so pity...Incredible I had my breakfast hang up at the room door,with everything counted for two people(two croissant,two orange juice,1 maple butter,2 small apple.....I cannot recommend this hotel to my friends.....
