The location of this hotel is very convenient, right on the boardwalk and close to the Outlets. The Dennis Tower has very nice decor and is very comfortable. Bally's was a very pleasant place to stay. It was in a very convenient location, the hotel was esthetically pleasing and the staff was very helpful. I would recommend it highly to those looking for a reasonable and pleasant place to stay while visiting Atlantic City.

I was a little skeptical based on the reviews I was reading, but I was actually pleasantly surprised about my stay at Bally's AC. The room was clean, beds were comfy, water pressure was good and it seems that there have been some recent renovations. We arrived at the hotel and checked in smoothly. When we got our room, it wasn't clean. We called house keeping 4 times in total and 3 hours later the room still hasn't been cleaned. When we went to talk to a manager, he was not apologetic about the situation. If the nearby hotel wasn't booked full too, I would have asked for a full refund. Needless […] to say, after about 5 hrs of going back and forth with the hotel manager, our room was finally cleaned. We were never given anything back for our trouble. If I can give 0 stars, I would for this dump. Fire all the staff and rehire people who care about their jobs and the guest experience. the stay was grest, but we had to pay for the tripfrom the train stration because we had a handycap person with us and did not get to the tram intime. (but no one told us we had to) this was on the way to the holel. on the way home the bus never showed up we had to take a taix or we would have missed our train.

We enjoyed our stay. They need to update the decor of the hotel rooms (especially the ceilings). They need to update the elevators and modernize each floor as you step off the elevator.

The room was nice and clean. The hotel lobby was surprisingly "live." I enjoyed my stay and as well as the casino. Would stay at Bally's again.

was directed to 3 rooms before we got a descent room! First smelled horrible! After 10 min of spraying the room deodorizer the maid offered us I couldn't take it anymore. The smell of marijuana was so over powering as we left the room people whispered about us on the elevator because our clothes reeked of it. The 2nd room was so far from the desk we were tired by the time we got there carrying all our bags then is was not even cleaned & it looked like an old dorm room! Again the lady apologized and said try the next room& for our trouble we would be given a free night by email. The 3rd room was much better finally after 21/2 hours of trying to get a room! And needless to say we never received a free night offer to our email! The stay was great for mid week night. Checked in after 12AM and gambled till 4:30 AM. I liked the 12PM checkout and could ask for later. Service was OK for the time of night and checkout was fast as well.

STAY WAS OK, I REQUESTED A SMOKING ROOM DUE TO CO WORKERS WHO SMOKE. WHEN I ARRIVED WAS TOLD MY ROOM SELECTION WAS AVAILABLE AND IF I WANTED THE SMOKING ROOM, I WOULD NEED TO PAY 60 ADDITIONAL DOLLARS FOR IT. ???

I have a very strong suggestion. While I was at the hotel I lost my credit card. I discovered it missing about 8am. I immediately checked with lost and found, to find it was not open until either 10 or 11. I called to cancel my card. When lost and found opened they had my credit card. It seems to me that the fastest, easiest and best customer service would have been to check to see if I was a guest and to leave me a message on the phone system. Overall, the hotel was excellent, I enjoyed the staff and the casino. The food was great, just felt the cleanliness was lacking especially in the stairwell going to the parking lot.

I have stayed in MANY hotels in atlantic city and my most recent trip to ballys was DISGUSTING. I specifically booked the ruby room, which are updated and the only room I will stay in at ballys. There was a convention going on so I was bumped from my room. They gave me an "upgraded" room. Burn holes in the carpets, water stains on the ceilings, black […] foot prints, dried drink stains on the end table, half an inch of dust, I could go on and on. So gross. The price is right! Great room had to do an upgrade from the minimum but worth it. Wild West side bar is closed. Only lobby bar open. Usually like the happy hour prices but they didn't have them at the lobby bar. Everything else was great. Ate at Harry's and it was fantastic. Would return.

Huge walk from parking to lobby. Another long walk from lobby to room. Poorly labeled signs very easy to get lost. Birds flying in the food court area. The most depressing structure I have ever been in but then again I have never been in jail. Ballys is not a hotel but a time machine that takes you to a depressed 1983.

Because Bally's is a 10-minute walk from Caesars, where we went for a wedding over our two-day stay, I can't give Bally's the bottom-tier rating...but it was close. Check-in time was 3 PM; by 5:15 PM, the hotel still hadn't cleaned a king-bed room in time for me to check in. The toilet didn't work in our room, in the Claridge tower. The hotel smelled of smoke everywhere except the room. The room door was not sealed, so at one point late at night, I could hear someone BREATHING outside of our door while waiting for an elevator (naturally, my room was right across from the elevator). Oh, and speaking of elevators--maybe the worst I have ever seen in a hotel, five elevators but three were not working during my stay, and you had to enter a key card to get to any of the hotel floors, one swipe per floor. The only dissapointment was the type of room I requested and reserved was not ready when I checked in. I had to settle for another type of room or wait until the room I requested was ready. After a 3 hour trip I was tired and just wanted to get to my room so, I settled.
