Incredibly friendly and helpful staff, particularly the manager. It was the right value for the room rate.

We enjoyed our stay. The staff were very nice and helpful. The room was clean, it was older and the bathrooms small. I would have to rate it as average for the amenities. I was say excellent for the front desk staff that helped us.

The entire town was booked solid: three huge weddings, the Pow-wow, and who know what other events were going on! All the hotels in town were full, this one included. I returned from my event around 11:30. The hotel was QUIET! Walmart was close by for that "OMG, I can't believe i forgot to pack ___" trip! I slept through the breakfast hours; the other […] guests really WERE that quiet! (Coopers Family Restaurant is just a couple blocks away.) This is a good clean hotel. Nice pool. However, the carpeting is a little worn. Nothing I haven't often noticed in hotels.

I was pretty impressed with the room. The only bad part of our stay was that the pool was closed due to a filter problem and with 4 kids waiting to get out of the car and into the pool that was a major downer.

The bathroom had mildew on the tile and shower curtain. Chair stained. Needs some variety with breakfast. Pool was closed when we got there due to an equipment problem. Pool opened back up the 2nd day we were there, but very cloudy. Pool was out of order, wood shingles fell from wall of sauna, refrigerator froze my food, no movie rentals through the TV -that was my experience along with my room was clean, comfortable and continental breakfast was good

Overall our stay was fine, but we were disappointed that the pool area closed at midnight. The website advertised a 24-hr pool and hot tub area. Also, the woman at the front desk when we checked in was very rude.

Had a real nice weekend stay. Only problem was when the shower was running the water was slow to drain leaving water in the tub as you showered. Will definitely stay there again if we are in the area.

Perfect stay for what we needed. I wouldn't have minded the pool being a little warmer, but other than that it was awesome!

On the Hotels.com website the room was listed as a king with an easy chair. I called Hotels.com to see if the easy chair was a recliner and was told it was a recliner. When I checked in to the hotel I found out they don't have recliners in any room. The room was fine but I might have been happier with a different type of room.

the pool is a bit shallow but a least we could cool off in it....the clerk recommended eating across the street at Woolys It was Fabulous! Room was great!

The staff was wonderful. After drivingthrough the night, they cleaned a room for us while we went to the store and let us check in at 10:00 am. Clean and comfortable. Would go again.

Lobby is under construction. Rooms in need of some updating. Close to downtown but still too far to walk.

Over the past few years, we have stayed at a number of AmericInn properties. Every one of our stays have been excellent, and this was no different. Friendly staff, great breakfast, clean and comfortable rooms, and reasonable price made this a fabulous choice for our stay in Hayward!

I had know know problems.I have no clue about the surrounding neighborhood. Although, I didn't get mugged, robbed orattacked so I guess it was fine.
