Average hotel. Priced higher than other budget hotels in area for same amenities. I was charged extra for a mountain-view room that was not available to an online shopper, which raised my price. Would not be my first choice in the area and I have tried others.

The hotel is in dire need of updating. My daughter and I stayed in room 401 and after we ushered out the 3 roaches, only to find one more in the tub area the next morning. The hotel is somewhat convenient to the park entrance, it's only positive. We did not dine at the breakfast buffet. All that fun for one night. Were is Starwood when you need it.

A complaint we have is that there were four of us and only 3 towels and wash rags. This could be excused for the first night as they accommodated us by moving us (we are sr citizens handicapped) from the 2nd floor to the 1st floor. However, the second night they knew there were four of us and still left only 3 towels and washrags.

The hotel accommodations for the family's weekend vacation turn out to be an overpriced experience. I book the initial reservation on line for two day at check in I discovered the reservation was for only one night. I thought the room was overpriced for the one night and was really surprised when I have to pay for a second night. The shower head was […] full of minimal deposits, not a pleasing sight. Room was confortable. Only problems was lobby was very hot. Uncomforable for breakfast. We were also right next to ice machine and got very noisy starting at 6 AM.

The hotel was OK, not great, not bad, a standard Days Inn. Nice, clean rooms and decent service. The price $150 seemed high considering the remote location, but Yosemite National Park was 30 minutes away, so I guess that explains it. It is an option to stay at Days Inn, and drive to the park as opposed to paying hundreds of dollars inside the park.

Needs updated, Not worth the price.

Holes in shower curtain and sheets, carpet in room worn. Continental Breakfast minimal and crowded room. Just like the rest of Oakhurst they take full advantage of the proximity of Yosemite to squeeze ridiculous rates for a weekend night.

When we booked the hotel Hotel.com said the hotel was 4 miles from Yosemite when in reality it is 14 miles from the SOUTHERN border of Yosemite. It took about an hour to get in and out of the main part of the park. For that reason I recommend staying in El Portal or a Yosemite lodge if you can afford it.

Horrible. If you prepay your room you get treated differently. The location is good on HIghway 41, but accommodations are what you will expect of subpar 1 star hotel. bath towels are like sand paper in roughness, better to bring your own. There are other better choices next to here.

The motel is located and hour outside of the South Entrance to Yosemite. That is the best thing going for this motel. The women running the motel was gracious and the breakfast was decent. The room was dirty the carpet looked like it had never been vacuumed. The sheets were shredded and dirty. The "white" towels were brown at best and grey at worst. […] They were old and thread bare. Oakhurst is very pleasant, as was Days' Inn staff, though rooms/facilities are showing lots of tourist-wear and tear. Nearby Crabcake Cafe was delightful - highly recommended

The customer service person was really rude , the beds were really uncomfortable, the toilet dirty, the water on the shower came out brown the first time we turned it on, the only good thing about the hotel was the location and the breakfast and that is it!

OMG. Run, run, run away. Mold in the bath; decor from 1968 and a broken AC that the surly attendant assured me 'was FINE'. It broke again while he was in the room trying to fix the lights. Crappy beds too. What a treat....

This is a sorry excuse for by believing "AT Yosemite"..Is a joke , you are more than an hour drive from the village, with weekend traffic can be closer to 2 hours. Stay at Yosemite valley OR dont go! Trust me, its NOT worth driving back and forth to Yosemite from Oakhurst, 2hrs one way driving!

My family and I stayed here while exploring Yosemite and unfortunately, construction was being performed on the entire road beginning in Yosemite and leading into the park. The night we arrived, it took over 2 hours for us to get from the Valley in Yosemite to the hotel. It would have been far better for us if we had just stayed in the Park - and we […] would have had a lot more time to explore. That said, the breakfast at the hotel was adequate for our needs. The room was right next to the door leading to the upstairs rooms, so we heard the door slamming all night and all morning. The only window the room had faced the stairwell, so we couldn't open the curtain at all, unless we wanted people looking in. It's a bit old and tired; the air conditioning is noisy and not teribly effective but it's clean and not too far from Yosemite entrance although the entrance is a long way from where you need to be in the park. I thought this hotel was not good value for money.

bad smell in the room, poor working airconditioner and bad svc

Two families with six children stayed in days inn for two days. Everything was great. High speed free internet, meals, clean room, and kind staffs. I strongly recommend others.

This motel was a pretty good price; the room was okay, but nothing special and pretty worn. The staff was fine; helpful when I called re the room internet. Just nothing special at all, although the night we stayed there all was very quiet, and you can't really put a price on that!

The location of this hotel is perfect only if you are staying here as a night stop during a long drive or if you are going to or coming from Yosemite Park. As otehrwise it is quite a bit of a in the middle of nothing place/area! Places to eat etc but not a great deal to do otherwise. We were staying here after a full/tiring day in Yosemite Park. Not […] "too" far from Yosemite Park drive wise...and a LOT cheaper than anything nearer the park. Really impressed. The room (twin) was spacious, really clean and the bed was really comfortable and fresh. Nice bathroom etc. Can't fault it. Good value for money too. Nice breakfast and breakfast area with free Internet via pc's in the lounge or via Wi-FI - great! A Pool too. As I said all great - just bear in mind the location...as hotel wise it's great - but location wise it isn't as there isn't much nearby to keep you entertained. very helpful and friendly staff, nice big clean rooms, clean bathrooms. no problems at all.

The place was not very clean. The Continental breakfast was a joke. When I asked for extra towels, I was told where the laundry room was and had to get them myself.

Hotel was clean, neat and very friendly. Would definetly recommend for anyone wishing to see Yosemite Park. Good value, great time

We are three peoples but having only one small shampoo, no conditioner,half of rolling toillet tissue,and only 5 pieces of face tissue need to think about that.

perfect location for yosemite and surrounding area,fantastic views from balcony at sun rise.

I think its a little overpriced, but i do understand why, the proximity to Yosemite and stuff, b ut price did not match quality at all.

Ants in our first floor bathroom after one night. Crowded,busy breakfast area. Can't remember when I last enjoyed any stay where the breakfast was included. I would stay here again anyway.

We enjoyed staying here one night before leaving for Yosemite. The rooms were clean and quite large.

The lady at the desk, Lisa, I think, was very friendly and helpful. She made good recommendations about places to eat. We were there during a hot summer period. When we left for the day, we set the a/c to 76 to keep the room from getting as hot as it had been when we checked in. The hotels service was bad, the room was smal, the pool looked more like a hot tub and was next to the road. There was no elevator and the price was high. Next time we will certainly stay somewhere else
