Only reason behind 4 rating for 'Comfort of your room' is my daughter said her pillows were not comfortable. Liked the location. Hotel provided 10% off for Texas Roadhouse. Had a good, reasonable, dinner there.

This was a great hotel. Friendly and helpful staff. The hotel was very clean and designed beautifully. They have a wonderful full breakfast selection and serve breakfast to 10:30 AM on weekends. Good Hotel. The room was very clean but the decor was a little dated. Everyone was very nice. In fact they recommended a good restaurant nearby. The breakfast was very good.

We wanted a place with an indoor pool and a fitness room without having to pay an arm and a leg. We had the pool to ourselves and the fitness room, while small, easily met our needs. On the night we stayed, so did a baseball team. We were crowded out of the pool, and hot tub. However, this is no fault of the hotel, or the staff, and this can happen anywhere. I would stay at this hotel again. Clean rooms, Great, helpful friendly staff.

We came in really late, the clerk was very pleasant. Hotel room was nice, bed a little lumpy. Breakfast was above average for a hotel. Good experience.

This hotel is very nice and clean. The staff was very friendly and most helpful. I would advise to ask for a room on the back side as the noise from the interstate can be a problem. The indoor "heated" pool was too cool but the hot tub (spa) was very nice after a long travel day.

If you are going to be staying anywhere in the Lake City, FL area I highly advise staying here - friendly staff, tasty (FREE) breakfast that changes main selections daily and central location with easy access to freeways and numerous restaurants. Our negatives are purely personal opinions as to what we feel is good or bad, but here it goes. Pros: Good location. Very Friendly staff. Very cozy feel. Cons: One of the three rooms we paid for had it's air conditioner go down the first night.. Indoor pool was so strong with chlorine smell, that we could not use. Would love to have had an outdoor pool to enjoy some of that Florida sunshine. I was told that the Exec. King had a sofa that made a bed! It did not, but they did get a roll-a-way. Also in that room the baby next door cried all night every two hours and woke us up!!!!

Room is ok. Location is great. They did have a very nice continental breakfast.

Carlson properties are quite reliable in quality control and this hotel is no exception. I stay in Lake City frequently at one of three hotels: Country Inn, Red Roof and Fairfield Inn. Close to good restaurants yet away from everything.

Very comfortable room and nice staff. Only negative is that it is hidden down a easily missed frontage road.

fOR BEING OUT IN THE COUNTRY AND ALL THIS HOTEL IS KEPT UP VERY NICE AND CLEAN AND BREAKFEST IS MANTAINEDIN THE MORNING BY A LADY THAT COULD BE YOUR GRANDMOTHER--VERY CARING--WILL ALWAYS STAY THERE WHEN WORKING IN LAKE CITY

Beds were very comfy and the continental breakfast was excellent. We needed to do some laundry we arrived and they had a laundry room. Husband took the children swimming while I did the laundry. They were right next to each other. We would definitly stay here again and would recommend it to others.

We stayed here on our way from Indiana to Orlando, FL. Hotel was very nice, new and clean. Breakfast was great. Highly recommend!

The Country Inn & Suites in Lake City was a great hotel. The hotel had a great feel about it and was clean and the grounds were well kept. The price was very reasonable too. loved the hotel. excellent breakfast buffet. I would recommend that people request a room on the back side of hotel, as in the front rooms you hear the interstate traffic quite heavy.

The room was clean, spacious and muffled out the outside sounds very well.

The only detraction was that our room faced the interstate. We did not run the AC so the noise from I-75 was evident. Super bed and extra clean bathroom. Breakfast was ok.

The hotel was conveniently located. The rooms were clean and spacious. The staff was accomodating and helpful.

The room I stayed in was really nice. It wasn't all that big, but the the presentation out weighed the size. Customer service was great. There was something wrong with the toilet, but it was fixed immediately after the staff was notified of the problem. I would recommend this hotel to all.

We thought we were getting our money's worth for the hotel until it came time to sleep. The air conditioner kept changing air speeds (very loudly), cutting on and off constantly, keeping us up all night.
