Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites East Greenbush - Rensselaer

The staff was very respectful, I enjoyed my stay there. They should have refrigerators in the rooms though.

The hotel is currently in the early stages of a cosmetic renovation. As a result the facility appeared a bit dated. The bottom of our bath tub was badly worn, bedding was minimal and the hot tub was out of order. They do include a very nice breakfast with the only issue there being that the diy pancake maker was out of order. Clean room, near hwy, nice staff. less than 2 miles from anything you might need, but not on a terribly busy road. Far enough from big city to be quiet, but close enough that you would be in Albany in minutes. Only complaint was the hot tub only had 2 or 3 jets working, so not quite as relaxing as we hoped, but they are under a minor renovation, so […] maybe it is on the list. Excellent overnight stop heading East or West on the Mass Pike and NY Thruway. Close t0 shopping maul and many eateries. Breakfast very good. Could use a night light in bath.

Highest quality as usual. One of our favorite stops on the way to see the Grand babies. Beautiful corner room with 2 windows and a stunning view of downtown Albany. Would recommend this great motel to any & all.

Our stay was great! We were treated very well by everyone! We had never stayed in that area before and were so pleased with the hoted ammenities and the staff were extremely accommodating. The staff was friendly and courteous. The breakfast was good and more than adequate. The bed was comfortable and the view was nice. The only problem was the bathroom coudl have been cleaner. The shower cutrains had stains on them and there was hair in the tub.

I had to stay here the night before taking an early AM train from ALB/Renn to NYC. The staff was nice and helpful. The room was clean. The 2nd floor hallway smelled like cigarette smoke. The plastic mattress cover is annoying because it makes noise everytime you move.

room was clean but could smell cigarette smoke throughout building. Beds were not comfortable at all.mattress need to be updated. a little overpriced for the comfort. not enough selection for the breakfast meal.

Stayed here two separate occasions. Both times very quiet even with a window facing interstate. Room a/c fan drowned out noise if any present. Comfortable beds, awesome pillows. Nice breakfast, one of the better self serve ones we have had. Cinnamon rolls a MUST, worth the calories! Friendly staff. Cookies at front desk. Convenient to a drugstore, Walmart, […] a few dining options, Starbucks and interstate. Nice view of Albany as it sits on a hill. Maybe 10-15 mins to airport. Easy drive. It met all our needs as a short stopover with good shopping and restaurants near by. Staff were very friendly.

From the begining of my reservation, it was a bad experience. When we got there and checked into our room, our toilet was stopped up and overflowed. The breakfast was not stocked and had trash overflowing the trash can. We had to go to the front desk to ask that they restock the food. The area for eating was dirty. DON"T WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!

Standard Holiday Express Hotel. Nice Staff, great view and a great Sports Bar next door. Tends to be more expensive than other similar hotels nearby.

Avoid this Holiday Inn location if you can - rooms smell of cigarette smoke and have stained walls. Breakfast was cold, with solid, tasteless, brick-like products. Pool was both filthy and un-heated. Nice hotel in general. Some mold on the bathroom ceiling but that's the only complaint. Staff helpful, pool okay, hot tub okay. Shower was great though!

The hotel was an easy on and off. Breakfast had variety, hot and cold juices, nice surroundings. Restaurant across the parking lot is open late. Very new interiors.

This was wonderful place to stay. The location is near major highway, shops and restaurants. Highly recommended.

The included breakfast buffet was horrible - powdered eggs, bacon tasteless and tissue-thin, the only fruit was unripe apples and bananas, coffee not good, no oatmeal. They really need to do better. This alone is what would keep me from recommending this hotel. It is otherwise adequate for the price.

Good hotel for the business traveler. Continental breakfast needed more prepared items (oatmeal) and more fresh fruit (bananas).

This was the second stay at the hotel and have no complaints at all. Would use hotel again.

The beds were amazingly comfortable, and the courtesy shuttle driver was very helpful. There was a 10% discount on food at the sportsbar next door, which had a nice terrace and lovely views. Don't stay here if you don't have a car.

Nous étions 3 familles pour 1 nuit. Nous avions une odeur très forte dans notre chambre (humidité), nous avons tout même pu changer de chambre suite à notre demande. Restaurant à proximité. Une des chambres sentait le tabac malgré qu'elle était annoncée non-fumeur. Service de la réception OK.
