We got to our room, found garbage in the cans from previous guests, hair in the tub, white spots all over the faucet, unidentifiable smear on the bathroom wall, pink stains on ceiling above beds, and a thick strip of dust bordering the entire room! When brought up to the front desk staff, they offered nothing more but to let housekeeping know of the […] situation. We aren't the pickiest people - but, wow, really?! Disgusting! Beds were comfortable and it was quiet. Hotel smelled of smoke and our room had burn marks in the carpet. There was a strip of dust along the walls that the vacuum missed and the sink and tub were old and in tough shape. This is definately a 2 star hotel.

I was awakened at 6:30 in the morning by the cleaning staff conversing loudly to each other in the hallway. This should never happen in the early morning. Otherwise, a pleasant stay.

Had no direct line to the hotel, so booked on line, and was not satisfied with that service But the hotel was fine.

This hotel is conveniently located within a few miles of Brainerd International Raceway. It is in good condition, but could use a bathroom update. The breakfast had a lot of variety and the pool was warm enough to walk right in. The front desk staff were a little scary and rough. A smile would help. There are restaurants and shops nearby.

Overall, good, just like other AmericInns. Unfortunately, their internet got knocked out by a storm. Unlike other AmericInns, I found breakfast lacking here. No eggs, no meat. :( If that doesn't bother you, then your stay will be great!

This is exactly what we expected for the price range and reviews of the hotel. Average price range with solid service, accomondations, and rooms. Everything worked and room was clean. Hotel could use an udpate, but customers should expect prices to reflect this. Good stay.

I really enjoyed my stay at the AmericanInn while visiting family in the local hospital. Staff was very friendly and helpful. I will use AmericanInn next time I travel out of town if possible. J C Springer

children running in hallways, pounding footsteps until 12:30 am. loud, rude adults in lobby, yelling at a hockey game on loud tv. ; called desk to say we rented the room to sleep and relax, not listen to rude people.; at 5:30 am, the noise from the breakfast area was ridiculously loud, either "guests" or staff.' no excuse for any of this. staff was […] apologetic, and tried to excuse the noise since "there were hockey teams in town" We paid for about 5 hours of sleep, dirty recliner (still had candy wrappings on it), and powerless staff. อ่านเพิ่มเติม

With a 2-Star rating I didn't expect much, but I was satisfied, except for the small eating space for breakfast. ( Plus a family that pretty much hogged the area.) The breakfast was good. The room was absolutely satisfactory.

Our family of 4 (two adults and two older children) came for a quick week-end getaway to the Brainerd Lakes area. We found that the personnel at this hotel were friendly and helpful but the front desk was often unattended. The lobby is pleasant but the breakfast area is nowhere big enough to handle the crowd when the motel is full, which was the case […] on the weekend we stayed. The room was reasonably clean but somewhat shabby, and the bathroom area was cramped. Vending machines were hard to find. The pool/hot tub/sauna were everything we would expect from AmericInn. Near-by stores and restaurants were exactly what we needed during our trip. The staff was pleasant and helpful upon check-in, and were eager to make negotiating the area easy.
