This hotel is in a great location but it is a little like stepping back in time....like to the 70's. The furniture is dated, the tv's are the old tube type, but the beds were comfortable and the shower worked, as did the air conditioner, so it was fine. Off the beaten path while traveling the I-95 corridor, but pretty ride to and from. Close to some nice restaurants. Don't know why but the pool is located below several trees which create a very leafy swim and much of the pool furniture also covered with tree drops.

Old Past way it's prime, Best Western Wann'a Be. Old Rooms, No upgrades in years, Had to go to Front Desk for Plug in for Computer and the desk clerk wouldn't open the door to give it to me, he slid it out the window Money Drop.

We've visited St. Simons a few times over the years, and this visit was one of our best. Our room at this Best Western was really pretty, with a beautiful view of the huge oak tree by the pool and gazebo. We appreciated the use of a computer in the hotel lobby and the breakfast (with a copy of the Jacksonville Journal Newspaper) was more than adequate. […] The only thing missing was a waffle maker! The only complaint that we had was the smell of bleach was so strong that we left the front door open for 10 minutes and left the vent van running in the bath room for several hours. I did mention it to the service desk--my husband is in very poor health and that was way too much bleach for him to try and breathe around.

Solid return on investment. Great island location. First on Island. Quiet surroundings. Beautiful moss draped pool area. Beds only so-so. Very soft and used alot. Cable was VG . Tiny but clean bathroom. Friendly staff. Free breakfast and newspapers. Perfect for a buisness stay. Will go Back.

This hotel is a great value for the money with a great location and lots of very good restaurants and shopping near by. Rooms are small but well maintained. Grounds and facilities are very nice. If you are looking for a low cost but nice place to stay for a couple of days this is the place on St. Simone Island.

I loved the Motel, It was a delight to stay there. The breakfast was great and the employees were very helpful. I normally travel with two well trained, caged small dogs, but your policies do not allow pets. Is there any way around this policy. Jim

What you would expect from a Best Western, clean and basic. The pool and spa area were beautiful, but it was cold so didnt get to use them. They would be great for a summer stay. The area was a very nice area on the island and felt safe and secure staying there. Very quiet surroundings.

I recently sent my in-laws here for a mini vacation. They had a great time and spoke very highly of their accommodations.

Lovely location and views but rooms need updating and improved furnishings. The staff were great and made us feel very welcome. Otherwise, we enjoyed our stay and loved the courtyard and landscapes

Hotel was clean and had one of the nicest pool areas of all the hotels. The hotel is off a street of hotels that lets you forget you are really near the hussle and bussles.

Hotel was very dirty Rooms were very small. Two adults bumped into each other constantly due to size of room. Room had roaches climbing on the wall. Breakfast was two days old. Service staff were not helpful, or sympathetic. Would not recommend this hotel.

The Best Western was great for a Weekend getaway. We loved the pool and surrounding area. There is plenty of parking and a good complimentary breakfast is served

First of all had trouble checking in. For some reason our hotel.com reservation was not showing up in the hotel's system. Rather than take our confirmation number and call hotels.com AFTER checking us in, the attendant kept is waiting for 30 minutes before we were given a room. Clean room, secluded within small business park. The surrounding trees and greenery make for a nice setting surrounding the pool. Typical breakfast bar with usual offerings. The hotel was clean with a beautiful pool area. The grounds around the pool and gazebo were nice. However, the room was the smallest room I had ever stayed in. One of the beds were old and saggy.

While this hotel can only be described as basic, management has made a real effort to make the rooms comfortable. The beds are double-sheeted, and there are three soft squarish pillows on each bed. The main thing we wished for was a small refrigerator in the room. We were told that only the suites have those. There are outside corridors, and at times we were bothered by people standing out there smoking. I've stayed here several yars ago and was pleased then too. The best thing is that it's very convenient to Epworth By the Sea, which is where I've addented a conference.
