Asked to have shower curtain rod fixed as it was falling down.. No one ever ca me to see about it for the entire stay.
"Clean and comfortable with breakfast provided"
Hotel was full so breakfast area was crowded but you can count on a Hampton Inn for a clean, comfortable stay at a fairly reasonable price.
"Gret location and staff very friendly"
the only reason i did not give condition of maintenance was the toilet in our room we had problems flushing from the first time we went in it. they had to come up several times. but they did come up right away when we called. "Just what you would expect"
The hotel delivered exactly what I expected. It was clean and the staff was friendly.
Construction going on in the lobby area where the breakfast would normally be held, but I will stay here again and looking forward to the new and inproved space.

Construction was a mess with workers in the way of walking. Only booked the hotel because it advertised having a resturant and bar facilities. They should have booked at a reduced rate if not able to supply as advertised. Very disappointed.

Although they were doing major lobby construction, the staff went out of their way to see that we were comfortable and not inconvenienced. The pool was clean and warm and there were plenty of towels. The room was quiet and comfortable and had an iron, coffee maker, microwave and refrigerator. They printed directions for us for a restaurant for dinner, […] which was delicious. "Hampton Hotel Groton"
The best hotel ever. Wouldn't stay anywhere else if possible. Luv the rooms, people and what they have to offer. Just one thing missing. Jaccuzi in the room lol. The staff is always helpful at anytime. Makes me want to stay at the hotel more then home. I stayed in a smoking room expecting it to smell like one and it only had a slight hint of smoke which […] tells me that they keep up on the cleaning and changing of everything to it doesn't smell like an ashtray. Very nice Hotel. Front desk service was great, employees were friendly & had good customer service. Room & bathroom very clean. Full breakfast was great, many options & dining area extremely clean. Good location near ocean & main highway. Convenient drive to Casino. Will book this place again!

"Great Stay!"
My sister and I stayed here overnight and went to Mystic Seaport for the day - great, clean hotel. Staff was VERY accommodating and we all enjoyed our stay, which included continental breakfast the next morning - would def. recommend this hotel!

"Convenient Location"
We were visiting Old Saybrook for the weekend and found this to be a great, convenient hotel....close to 95, easy on/off....have stayed here before and will again!
"Only 15 minutes from Mohegan Sun"
We spent one night at this Hampton Inn after seeing a concert at Mohegan Sun. We would've liked it to be a bit closer, but most hotels closer to the casino are over $250 per night. This hotel was clean, the employees were kind and the price was right. We'd stay again!

We stayed at this hotel because it was close to the Casinos. We had a great time. The hotel staff was excellent! The breakfast was clean, fast and filling. Loved having coffee and tea 24 hours a day. We would reccommend to others. It is easy to get to, just off Route 95.

I would highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting the New London Sub Base. It is two minutes from the base. There's a Panera and a Dunkin Donuts on your way. I was greeted when I arrived at the hotel by a very nice gentleman. It smelled so fresh and clean. My room was very comfortable and included and fridge and microwave. When i booked the hotel i made sure to call and check to see if they provided transportation to the casino. They do, but it was 25$ a couple! which they neglected to mention on the phone. so after the initial 50$ slap in the face (4 of us went) we were going to relax in the hot tub... it has been cemented over. "Hamptons Inn - Groton/Covenient to Moghegan Sun"
We stayed here because we were spending NYE at Mohegan Sun. Even though the hotel was fully booked, the staff was very helpful and accommodating. When I asked if the coffee was fresh, the staff offered to brew a new pot. They had convenient and on-time shuttles to Mohegan Sun, starting at 5:00pm and running until 3:30am. "HVAC"
This Hampton had the cheesy temp control knob on the window HVAC unit, no thermostat on the wall, which I would expect for this price. As a result, could not get comfortable, cost me a good night's sleep.

I was very pleased with our stay at the Hampton in Groton, mystic, excellent breakfast, had a laundry, swimming, exercise faciltiy. Would recommend it and the price was reasonable.

From the time I checked in, morning breakfast services, and check-out the staff was professional in every possible manner. They made me feel welcomed home!
"Hampton Inn Groton/Mystic/New London"
This hotel is hands down the best hotel we've ever been to. The staff is super friendly and very accomodating. Pool is heated and 5 feet deep. Breakfast is included and there is wifi. What else do you need? The hotel is 5 minutes from Mystic and was worth every penny. We plan to stay here again on our next trip to Mystic.

Our stay at Hampton Inn Groton was just about perfect and everything you could want in a hotel stay. The place was immaculate and the service was excellent. The breakfast in the morning had hot food and a good variety of other things to eat. They never ran out of food they kept replenishing as needed. The woman serving was friendly and hard working […] and very accomodating. It had a pool and exercise room as well. Just cant say enough about the place and the price was also great. Room and Service excellent. Room available on time and breakfast was very good with many choices for adults as well as children
"Funky smell"
The room had a funky smell, possibly of cleaning chemicals. We had a problem with the volume of the television going up by itself, quite annoying. The breakfast was just OK. The price was a bit high for the quality of the hotel.

Average hotel in remote location. Fortunately Applebees restaurant and bar was adjacent.

"Very Accommodating"
My girlfirend and I stayed at this Groton facility as it was convenient for both Mystic and Mohegan Sun. The accommodations were superb; we took advantage of the pool, health center and breakfast the next morning. I would recommend this facility
"Hampton Inn Groton"
Perfect location for family fun. Its right off rt 95, 5 mins from Mystic and all the attractions, and a hop from casinos. My kids loved the yummy waffle and sausage breakfast and enjoyed a night swim in the pool. The staff was warm and very sweet to our children. It was perfect for us.
Great place, warm pool and indoors! Concierge very helpful, nice breakfast and terrific for Mystic weekend.
We enjoyed every min. we were there..

"Business trip Gem."
The staff was alert and very helpful, Applebees resturant is right next door with a complementary appetizer coupon given at check in. A complementary breakfast the next morning, minutes from Route 95 and a comfortable web accessible lobby, perfect for a business trip.
