Last minute hotel for us - went to penn relays. Hotel very good but would've stayed closer to Franklin field but everything booked. Pleasant everything.

"Incredible Hotel"
We absolutely loved this hotel! Clean, convenient location, fantastic indoor pool, and wonderful staff. Would definitely stay here again!
"Close to all must-see sights"
Overall, we enjoyed our hotel experience. We had an excellent desk clerk who gave us very good recommendations. The meal staff was excellent, and the menu interesting. The location was very good for seeing the historical sites. HOWEVER, , on the first evening when I pulled back the covers on our bed, I discovered two long brown hairs on the sheets. […] Yes!=-I actually slept in the bed without asking to have the sheets changed, but I am still cringing from the experience. "Hyatt Regency Philadelphia at Penn's Landing"
My wife and I stayed at the Hyatt Regency at Penn's landing for a long weekend in Philly. We went with another couple, so we had 2 rooms. A couple of (minor) negatives. Each time we went to the pool, it was filled with kids. Not that we don't love the little tykes, and not that we expect the hotel to not allow kids in the pool area, but it was a bit […] annoying to have so many kids running around. Also, the steam room was rather small, and the kids all seemed to want to use it whenever we did. Several positives. The workout facilities were very good, and they were open 24 hours a day. The pool was clean, and it was open 5am - midnight (though see negative above). There was a steam room (though see negative above). The hotel is located within easy walking distance of the historic sights. All staff members we dealt with were friendly. Parking was convenient (though not free). "Amazing location to stay in Philly"
This hotel, Hyatt at Penns landing is by far the best place to stay in Philly. Great location to downtown, and Independence. Highly recommend it. Only wish access to/from the train station was better.
"Location great, service poor"
Booked this hotel because of its great location and rating. Location was indeed perfect - being right on the river with a fabulous view of the Ben Franklin bridge. However it was a bit noisy owing to adjacent freeway. The rooms were roomy and comfortable but service and maintenance were very poor. We paid in advance for 3 nights for a room with two […] beds. We arrived late to be told no two bed rooms were available - this was a serious problem but it was too late to seek alternative accommodation. Hotel staff were barely apologetic. The room we were given had not been properly serviced - after a 15 minute wait we were finally given a different room facing the freeway and very noisy. The following day we changed rooms again - a request for a housekeeping item was never met despite a promise that someone would arrive in a couple of minutes plus the sink stopper was broken. "Good weekend away"
The location was so close to downtown, yet so much better than being downtown. Pool was good and the room were comfortable. Skip the restaurant in the hotel. Service was slow.

"Just about perfect"
This hotel was wonderful and I wish we had been staying for more than one night. We had no trouble upgrading to a waterfront room and the room itself was gorgeous and spacious. Best room service breakfast we've had anywhere. Hotel was conveniently located within easy walking distance of everyplace we went and had great amenities. "Great bustle-free location and everything"
My experience with Hyatt has always been great and this was no exception. The location is perfect - away from downtown but right across the street from great shops and restaurants in the society hill area. "Hyatt Regency at Penn's Landing, Philly"
This is the second time we have stayed at the hotel in the last three years. It is in a great location with amazing views of the Delaware River. It is in the historic district of the City, which we love. Almost everything is within walking distance. The rooms are comfortable and clean and quiet. The indoor pool is fantastic, but you have to dodge around […] the schedule of families with young children. Our only complaint is that some of the furniture in the Lounge looks very tired (chairs are stained and upholstery is frayed and uninviting). "Good hotel/a bit far from where you want to be"
Overall I had a good stay at this hotel but I wasn't thrilled with the location. Also, the room was extremely dry and warm and adjusting the thermostat didn't seem to help.
"Close to everything & Indoor Pool for Kids!"
The Hyatt Regency was terrific! Clean and every room had a great view - some of us faced north to bridge and others faced south toward the boats. We were able to walk to Independence Hall easily, and into Society Hill for little restaurants and cafes....plus a cheesesteak on South Street. "Very pleased"
Good, clean room with a great view of the Delaware River. Highway noise a bit loud but tolerable, at least on 10th Fl. Boys loved the pool--3 ft shallow end, 4 ft "deep" end. Nextdoor to Independence Seaport Museum, 10 minute walk from Independence Hall. You have to take the bridge over I-95, which we didn't really mind. Ideal for historic sights, just […] far enough. "Hyatt Penn's landing"
The restaurant food is not very good, unless you like applebees. They were out of 4 of their 6 drafts my first night, and 5 of 6 the second night. They are only two bucks for happy hour. Stroll down the riverfront to one of the restaurants close by. Has to be better than the quality of food they offer at 4 star prices.
"Great place to stay but...."
The hotel room was great and so was the service. Unfortunately, we had very noisy neighbors. The hotel staff had to quiet them twice as they partied until around 1 am. The hotel could have used some sound-proofing. Also, the restaurant was a little pricey and the serving sizes were rather small for the price.

"Always a great stay"
We've stayed here at least four times now, in our visiting Philly. It will always be one of the best places to stay there. Spectacular views. Consistently good service. And most of the time, a great price for what you're getting. Make sure to get the city-view suite, as it offers you a corner room with a view of downtown and if you get the north city […] view side, a view of the Ben Franklin bridge; both absolutely wonderful at night. It's a distance to walk into Center City, if you're looking to hit up the Terminal Market or surrounding places, but it's a quick walk to South Street and a little bit more to the Italian Market. I'm a younger traveler, but the staff gave me just as warm and enthusiastic greeting as they gave to the business men and families coming in and out of the hotel. The men helping by the door always gave me greetings even though I had no luggage or car to help with. My son and husband stayed there for a quick trip to attend a footbal game and loved the location and all the helpful hints from the front desk including the best way to get to new york by train. Also house keeping is the best, my son forgot his retainers at the hotel and told me about is 2 weeks later, I called the hotel and with 2 Minn. they located […] them and I received them in the mail 2 days later. The Hyatt has everything you need... Location, Great resturants, River views, but most important of all they have an incredible ATM/MAC machine which you will need over and over again. Parking is the worst, it's close to $30 per night and you have to take two elevators pluse walk a long distance just to get to the lobby of the hotel..! Coming back to […] Philly is always a great time but I have to say Hyatt isn't easy... The Holiday Inn on Packer is stepping up.. Beautiful hotel, excellent service, but $30 for hyatt customers to park??? Horrible.....I know its in/near center city, but come on.
Thank you for staying with us during your visit to Philadelphia. Great to read about the excellent service the associates provided to you . Opinions on parking seem to vary greatly. Our parking structure is among the most compeitively priced among similar hotels around the city. Additionally we have the space to provide two options.....self parking or valet parking service. This hotel is located within walking distance of Old City and South St. Center City is not far either. It is perfectly located with clean, comfortable rooms.

This is a very nice hotel, it's not centrally located but within walking distance to the historic distric. The hotel has beautiful views and is lovely inside. The only thing that is annoying is traveling from the parking garage to the lobby. Way too many elevators!

Now aside from the great view, as the title suggests, there was nothing to complain about during my 1 night stay at the Hyatt. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful, the room was clean and comfortable, and it was convenient to the RiverRink, as well as other Philadelphia attractions. The only thing that went wrong was that the light in the main entryway […] of our room was out, but we just mentioned it to one of the customer service reps in the lobby on our way to dinner and when we returned, the light was fixed. "Must stay!"
Second hotel I've stayed at in Philly and I'll look no further. Rooms were spacious and staff was very friendly. Society Hill is only a quarter mile away and offers great bars, restaurants and history.

Had a good experience and liked the deal I got during Xmas weekend. People complained about the parking situation in other reviews, so I knew what to expect and was not shocked. It was really not too bad of a walk to the hotel from the Garage. You can also park on Dock street across the hotel if you don't want to pay for parking.
"Over charged under served."
Beds were warped and lumpy. Booking claimed dual king when we arrived we were told there are no dual king beds. Parking fees are obscenely high. Had dinner in the restaurant food and services were good. Breakfast buffet was sparse with choices, poorly replenished and extremely overpriced. Wait staff service was good and responsive. We really enjoyed our recent 4 day stay at Hyatt Regency. Had a great view of the Delaware River as we were on the 12th floor. The towels and sheets were very soft, the room was clean, the bed comfortable. My only complaint was the $10/day charge for the WIFI. Unlike the parking, which I was prepared to pay for, I feel the Internet access should have […] come free with the room. We stayed just one night, but this hotel is very nice with high quality linens and latest in room furnishings. The view of Philadelphia was very nice. The parking both vallet and self is quite expensive and the internet cost extra - bummer. Otherwise the hotel is very nice.

Wanted to stay in Philadelphia for my birthday and experience the night life. This was an excellent location - beautiful views and close to everything. The people there were extremely friendly and helpful!!
The parking is expensive, and I found the walk from the garage to the hotel obnoxious but the hotel itself was wonderful. The bruschetta flatbread was amazing. Convienent location for sporting events. Only took maybe 10 mins to drive to the eagles game!
Glad you found the location so convenient for the Eagles game. Great to read of the service from the staff and how much you enjoyed the bruschetta flatbread. It's a great menu item. Parking rates are really a subjective thing based on location. Here in our area we are among the lowest. We also offer valet or self parking which is more the exception than the rule. As we offer both options we have a large covered parking facility connected to the hotel. This provides easy, quick access for the valet staff collecting cars for guests as well as those guests who choose to self park. Thanks for staying with us. This hotel was 5 minutes from all of the stadiums. It's location cut out all of the traffic to and from them. The atmosphere of the hotel was amazing calm modern I am re-booking the same hotel in feb when we go down for a hockey game. The location along the river we walked the paths everything is lit up at night beautiful. Restraunts, target, cute shops […] were just a street down from the hotel. "Hyatt at Penn's Landing"
The Hyatt at Penn's Landing is an excellent choice. A little pricier than I'm used to, but well worth it. Entire staff was so warm and eager to help. Front desk, concierge and room service were all great. The only complaint stems from a mix-up at the concierge. We were told reservations had been made at a restaurant, but when our cab dropped us off, […] there was a sign on the door that they were closed all weekend for kitchen repairs...so we're not sure who the concierge made the reservations with, if at all. Wasn't a big deal though, as there was another restaurant les than a block away that we walked to. Despite this, the Hyatt at Penn's Landing comes highly reccommened! "Why do upscale hotels not emphasize bed comfort?"
My family and I stay in hotels, predominantly Eastern US, about one weekend a month. Bed comfort is random, sometimes superb in a low cost chain, and often horrible in relatively upscale hotels. My wife and I both had the impression that it had been awhile since the mattresses etc. had been upgraded at the Hyatt Regency, or else the quality is such […] that the bedding wears down quickly. Thank you for scheduling a stay with us and for providing your feedback on the guest room beds. They were all replaced a few years ago at the same time. Since then we follow manufacturer guidelines for care and replace them as needed since they don't wear on the same schedule. I have reviewed your comments with our manager overseeing guest room operations so we may work to ensure we are catching mattresses that are due to be replaced before someone checks in to that particular room. one night stay for a business meeting. very convenient. Great view from my room of the bridge at night. Staff helpful. parking convinient- 25 a day though. Close to old city, center city. Room very comfortable and quiet. Extended trip a day. Taxes add up but i guess that's anywhere. i would recommend. allowed later check out.
