Mineral Palace Hotel And Gaming - เดดวูด

I was in town for the Deadwood Mickelson Trail Marathon and requested a late checkout so that I could shower and freshen up after the race. The front desk was very accomodating and allowed a 1pm checkout (vs the normal 11am checkout). It was also a nice surprise to have a thank you card & chocolates on the bedside table when I got to my room.

Hotel was nice but the lady at check in was not very friendly... our reservations got messed up twice, which was stressful, but they did correct everything to our satisfaction.

Room was clean. Loved the chocolates they left for us and the welcome card. Everyone was freindly.

Hotel was very nice. The gaming rooms were large and the staff were awesome, very friendly and helpful. We would definatly stay here again.

The only problem we had was the noise from the room above us. We could hear the water everytime it was run, including the toilet, and then it sounded like it dripped after that for awhile. Of course this started at 5 a.m. When you are at casinos late, 5 a.m. noise is not appreciated.

Couple people who worked there were not helpful and seemed upset that we would ask for help. Hotel was great.

Best experience we have had at a hotel in a long time. We travel to Deadwood all the time, and from now on we will be looking to stay here when we can.

the hotel and staff were just fantastic.. Service was above satifaction. I was a little disappointed in the sevice the next morning tho at breakfast, We ate at the steakhouse, Server was busy with other things rather then helping us..

Nice enough, but way overpriced. Would compare it to a Days Inn in overall value.

Ate supper and Breakfast at the Gem and both meals were very good. The room was clean and no night time noise. The bed was a soft top and provided a pleasant sleep. We will stay here again.

Great disappointment because the only 2-queen beds rooms available were smoking ones even though we had confirmed reservations for non-smoking ones. Staff seemed indifferent to this situation: TAKE IT OR LEAVE IT. Parking lot is quite small and difficut to enter & exit. Too tired to take in the surroundings. The only problem with the room was that there was not a bathroom fan - got very fogged up with shower - and the carpet was vacuumed in the main areas, but for an inch or so sourrounding the baseboards it was very dirty. Rooms showing a little wear, parking is a problem but we knew that going in. Very handy to everything in Deadwood.

Nice hotel with a good restaurant. Very convenient for gamblers. Valet parking is a neccessity. The biggest negative is the coffee, it is terrible, not just bad, terrible.

We booked this thru expedia. Initial checkin staff lady was rude and non helpful. Wife was about to leave. Valet man Josh saved the day; friendly and helpful. Room was clean and average, but comfortable. When we returned from dinner, there was turn-down service with chocolates. :) Daytime staff were informed of our issue with check-in and were friendly […] and apologetic. Word of caution: parking is horrible. When you check in, try and pull in front of the hotel. There is valet parking, but no real info or signs out front. Pull up, unload, have car parked. Enjoyed it very much! Only reason for not giving it 5 stars across the board was the front desk didn't seem to really care if we were helped or not and No Blackjack table open for play several times during our stay.

The hotel is somewhat older but the rooms were redone about 4 or 5 years ago I believe. The restaurant staff and food were great. The staff for the most part in all other areas are very friendly and helpfull but the maid service leaves something to be desired. We had returned to our room a few days where the toilet, sink and bath tub/shower in the bathroom […] were not cleaned properly. We would definatly stay here again. Generally everyone was nice and accomidating. Room service was great. Was the cleanest casino. Cocktail waitresses was very freindly. The rooms were great and had a very comfortable bed.

My Husband and I had a (3) night stay at the Mineral Palace, & although we have stayed here before, We once again had the greatest customer service given to us. We love its location,parking & everything is in walking distance. The "Gem Steak House" food, will not go unmentioned along with the service,,,truely the BEST in Deadwood. The staff is so friendly, we talked to our waiter (off duty) at the bar for hours. The dealers were conversational and hilarious, and we won enough at 3 card poker to pay for our stay :)

The room was very nice except for the fact that I had no good place to use my computer. Another small negative was that the room was on the first floor looking out on a busy street so that I had to keep the drapes closed at all times. The bed was great. We stayed at the Mineral Palace for part of our honeymoon. The staff was friendly, fun and helpful. The casino is the biggest in town. The food was excellent. The room was clean and cozy. I can't wait to come back again!
