the Palatinus is in the perfect location in Pecs, convenient to everything and on a street full of restaurants. but the hotel itself i think has seen better days. my guide book referred to the rooms as sumptuous but mine was spartan at best. i had to unplug the fan (no AC) to plug in the kettle to make a cup of tea and the outlet was under a desk so […] the kettle had to sit on the floor. the furnishings were worn out and not particularly comfortable. the building is a wonder of art nouveau architecture but it looked like it has seen better days and is in need of a good sprucing up. i am staying at another Danubius hotel in Budapest and my room is the same here! อ่านเพิ่มเติม

The location was great! The staff friendly and could understand English well. Very polite and wanted to help as much as they could with anything. The breakfast had a wide variety of food and stayed open till 10am for the late sleepers like myself when I am on vacation. The rooms could be upgraded a bit but were comfortable.

This is an over-the-top perfectly renovated hotel. It is Art Nouveau and has the most incredible tile work, especially the beautiful peacock fountain in the dining room. Yet, it is spotless and impeccably maintained with contemporary, but fitting furniture. We had a twin bed superior room and were satisfied with all the amenities, though my husband found the bed a little narrow. We chose not to pay for internet in the room, as it was a daily charge rather than for actual usage. I had initially some minor concerns since some reviewers stated that the best day of this hotel were in the past and that the breakfast was nothing special. It is my opinion that the location cannot be any better. The rooms was simple, but perfectly fine. The breakfast was also good and it was better than at other hotels in the price range in Hungary. […] For the cost of per night this hotel offers a tremendous value. Hyvä hotelli upealla sijainnilla keskellä Pecsiä kävelykadulla. Monipuolinen aamiainen arvokkaassa ympäristössä, parkkipaikka hotellin kellarissa, maksullinen tosin. Tilat saneerattu vastikään.

der Kulturhauptstadt Europas 2010. Soviel Pecs auch für die Belebung der Stadt getan hat - am Hotel Palatinus wurde noch nicht genug getan. Das Hotel selbst ist ein Schmuckstück, ein architektonisches Juwel des Jugendstil. Allerdings sind in den Zimmern nur die sanitären Einrichtungen modernisiert worden. Die Zimmer selbst sind zwar gut angelegt, aber […] die Betten sind sehr unbequem und die Bettwaren (Decken, Kissen) haben bessere Zeiten gesehen. Das Frühstückbuffett ist nett bestückt. The hotel looks old inside, the room and bathroom were small, no air conditionned, old style decoration, twin beds were not comfortable and impossible to join together (what a pity for a young couple!). Breakfast was just ok. Actually, we think the hotel is not worth the price at all, even if well located.

Das Hotel Palatinus liegt zentral in der Fußgängerzone mit vielen Geschäften und Restaurants. Das Hotel besticht durch sehenswerte Fassade, Empfangshalle und Restaurant im Jugendstil. Uproblematisk hotellopphold med hyggelig personell. Hotellet ligger midt i Pecs sentrum, i handle/resturatgaten, en koselig gågate uten motorisert trafikk. Beliggenheten er derfor perfekt! God frokostbuffet i stor og lys frokostsal. Rommene er litt små, og litt mørke. Utsikt får du ikke mye av grunnet at hotellet er bygget i en "U-form", og de fleste […] rom ser derfor inn mot hverandre. Mulig at dette er bedre for rom i høyere etasjer, og i rom som vender utover i stedet for inn. Badekaret så ut som om det ikke var vasket godt nok over lengre tid, men utover dette var badet bra. Kun "twin beds" setter ned komforten, og hotellet kunne ha kostet på seg dobbeltsenger. Alt i alt et hyggelig og tilfredsstillende opphold. อ่านเพิ่มเติม
