Walking distance to most tourist sites including the Remnants Museum and Reunification Palace. Also an easy walk to the major shopping area with many high class shopping centers. I checked in at 4:30 and room wasn't ready yet but wasn't much od a wait.

Great hotel, fabulous pool. Room light,air con console a bit confusing but otherwise hard to fault. Final night stay in a Club Room which is great (tariff includes breakfast + other extras), but the bathroom design is a bit peculiar and actually unusable if you're slightly bigger than average (and I mean slightly!) - the doors can't open all the way […] because the handles to toilet and to shower hits against the central pillar. We were in HCMC for only 3 days. The location of the hotel is walking distance from the attractions such as the war museum, Ben tanh market, reunification palace, river etc. great hotel, would stay there again!

We had some problems with a bit of noise from renovations but they team in Sofitel couldn't have been more helpful. We were moved and upgraded at no extra charge. We'd just got off a horrendous flight (screaming toddler for the whole journey from the UK to Singapore) so we just couldn't handle any more minor noise. Couldn't fault their response. I went to the hotel with my husband and I was there when it was my birthday. I was pleasantly surprised when a member of staff rang the door bell and delivered a BEAUTIFUL chocolate gateau written Happy Birthday with my name on it. We ordered room service on my birthday and the food was nice enough. The pizza was generously laden with lots of toppings. The concierge staff were helpful in recommending some restaurants nearby however we decided to do our own thing and went to a nearby complex where we had a lovely meal at KohThai and there was a japanese sweet place where they do amazing puddings. We stayed at the Sofitel for 12 days during our trip to Vietnam. The Hotel was very comfortable and we felt very safe staying there. Executive club staff are excellent. The food snacks drinks throughout the day. Good amounts and good quality. Executive room recently been updated so modern but cheap plastic furniture. Only complain I have is that smoking is allowed in the club lounge on the 18th floor. What's worse is that food is served in this room. Sofitel can easily prohibit this & provide somewhere for smokers away from the rest of us.

During Tet holidays, i've been sheraton and other resort in nhatrang. And then i stayed in Sofitel 2nights in saigon. Most impressive thing was comfortable pillow and cozy lobby. But the swimming pool was little small and the room was also quite small. Anyway Sofitel gave me great sleeping condition. Recommendable for business tripper !!!

WE HAD A WONDERFUL STAY AT THIS HOTEL. EVERY THING WAS PERFECT. NICE CLEAN AND WELL MAINTAINED ROOMS. STAFF WERE SO WARM AND HELPFUL. NOTHING WAS TOO MUCH FOR THEM WENT OUT OF THEIR WAY TO PLEASE US. ONLY PROBLEM WE HAD WAS VEGETARIAN FOOD BUT WE MANAGED IT WISH THEY WOULD CATER FOR VEGETARIANS. WE WOULD RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL TO EVERY ONE.

The hotel was clean & nice. It's further from city centre but there is free shuttle service from the hotel. Overall we had great stay in Sofitel Saigon.

We loved our stay at the Sofitel. It was walking distance to everything and very close to the river. The hotel had excellent accommodations and the staff was helpful.

Very disappointed with the customer service. Final Straw is that they didn't accomodate a late check-out on a weekday morning. Expensive hotel for nothing.

The Sofitel chain is billed as a luxury hotel. The establishment in HCMC is a good place to stay. Staff was courteous, restaurants/buffet pricey and food just good. Carpet in the room was a bit soiled and the door to the room did not close all the way unless pulled shut with force. Should have asked for another room, but with jet lag and late arrival […] I just wanted to sleep. One thing I have noticed in many hotels, including the Sofitel lately, not enough bright light. I can't seem to get the room bright enough to feel comfortable doing business tasks. All of these would be small issues at a Motel 6, but at a higher end establishment like Sofitel???? The Sofitel Saigon Plaza is a great hotel. This was my third stay there and each time I've been very satisfied. They do just about everything to perfection.

The hotel is a genuinely nice place to stay in. Guests are made comfortable by courteous staff and efficient front office management. Food services are excellent as is room service. The roof top pool is divine and deserves recognition as special for its design and views of the city at large.

The Sofitel isn't the fanciest hotel in HCM, but the service is the best. It is 5 star and the rooms are nice but it is the attention to detail that keeps us coming back. I have to stay for two nights in this hotel. Location is very good and safe, and within 10 minutes of walking you can reach shopping mall and lots of Cafe and modern local restaurants. The room was old, and the shower drain was plugged, even after they try to fix it. 3 minutes of shower only, unless you shut off the water and wait for few minutes for […] drainage. Overall for room appearance I would not give more than 3.5 stars, and will take off 0.5 point for the problem indicated. I am not sure if all the room were in similar condition, and I can only review one room out of few hundreds in the hotel. Staff are extremely helpful, polite and very professional. If you get a nice room, all your problems are resolved and I would give a 5 star as advertised. Free WiFi are available in room and Lobby. For being a frequent traveler and staying at other Sofitel hotels, I was not impressed with this one. Although the hotel looks good in the lobby and restaurants, I was not impressed by either the room, the service, or the food at this hotel. Carpet and chairs in the room were filthy. Food service was poor, first night ordered room service that took […] over one hour and came cold (they did take back and we waited another 25 minutes for a warm meal), ordered Rueben sandwich at the pool which was fried spam on bread, and pizza we ordered did not have all the ingredients that was listed on the menu. Nothing that you order is what is listed on the menu and when you say someething they say "Oh yes I know". Went to breakfast in the restaurant on the second floor in which you can order from menu or eat buffet. got up to walk to cashier and almost ran down by waitress to make sure that we paid the bill (breakfast was not included with our room). Bill contained a breakfast that wasn't ordered and when telling cashie, was told I was lying. My husband asked to talk to the manager which they wouldn't let us do. They did remove the breakfast, but this was typical of the overall service. I would say that the pool is lovely on the roof. That was the best part of the stay. フロントやドアマンは笑顔で迎えてくれるのは普通だが、このホテルはスタッフ全員がいつも笑顔でサービスしてくれる。フランス系ホテルだけに意外な感じ。ホテル全体に華美な感じがなく、フランスらしいセンスの良さが光る。隣がイギリス領事館があるので、治安は良い。市場辺りまでは散歩がてら歩いて行っていた。朝食も充実している。

Super godt hotel, som meget godt lever op til sine 5 stjerner. Servicen er i top og man bliver mødt med et smil og imødekommenhed. Hotellet tilbyder gratis transport til midtbyen, men ellers koster en taxa ikke meget.
