Kenwood Hall - เชฟฟิลด์

I thought Kenwood Hall was great value for money. It was a little more expensive than the hotels I usually use but the service was excellent, the room was clean and comfortable and it was only a 10 minute walk into town.

The hotel was clean and comfortable with pleasant and helpful staff. The location was perfect for where we needed to be in Sheffield and offered easy access to The Peak District

Toilet Bowl and Cistern in en suite appeared to be cracked through, from inside to out. Unless this is attended to quickly there could be a real danger of injury especially if a heavy person were to use the toilet.

stayed for 2 nights whilst visiting daughter at sheffield university. Lovely setting, grounds beautiful and calming influence. Really well equipped gym and pool complex. All in all, rather luxurious, highly recommended. Staff very helpful and local!

Hotel excellent could not fault the grounds or inclusive breakfast . They need to spend some money on the room s lick of paint new tv s , Kenwood hall way behind on technology . New bathroom needed Despite the room would recommend to anybody

Very dissapointed, booked room for two and only 1 bath towel, no hand towels. Then hot water stopped running about 8 pm, was this why we had one towel? Then toilet stopped working shortly after as no water to that, reception were hopeless and after many excuses said it would be the next morning when they could look at the water supply. It eventually […] came back on at 8;30 am the next morning when we were checking out. 1st room Extractor fan in the bathroom extremely noisy. TV would not turn off even when switched pressed on the TV could not access the plug as tv in a cupboard. Radiator banging in the middle of the night. Got moved to another room that totally smelled of damp. Could not open one window to rid the smell of damp as it was screwed down. Myself and my husband will be going back there very soon. The price and the location and staff were very polite. Although we were there on business the hoilday made in feel like a holiday.

Generally a very pleasant hotel at extremely good value. Breakfasts were excellent. TV programme selection was poor, and WiFi was very restrictive as you had to log in every 30 minutes.

I stayed last week room was lovely staff were lovely I stayed this week room was pokey heating did not work in the room they had to bring a portable heater. the table in theroom had no cloth on it until thursday evening Come on Kenwood hall get your act together I know I got the room at a reasonable price but you have let me down this week

The hotel itself is nicely located away from traffic and has ample parking. The lounge area and restaurant is fine although it feels like a cafeteria. Breakfast is the usual standard and service good. The restaurant in the evening is overpriced with slow service and unimaginative menu. The meals seem to be of the finished package type that just get […] thrown in the oven. The room we were given was fine in size for what is normal in Europe (my American friends would be shocked), my son and I shared a twin room. The shower was very good but bathroom small. The beds were awful. Very poor standard of beds for a 4 star hotel. There was no minibar or refrigerator. The room was always dusty, in fact I struggled it by the end of the week and my son very red eyes in the mornings, he has asthma. The rooms are heated by radiators that cannot be turned off which created a sauna in the room even in january. We left the window as wide open as possible overnight but we both struggled with the heat at night and neither of us had a good night sleep the whole week. We were offered a new room if the heater could not be switched off but that never happened so we gave up. They say they have a swimming pool and spa area, the swimming pool is extremely small and do not expect to be doing any training in it! :-) Overall, the hotel is just let down by poor maintenance and lack of understanding what a modern tourist needs. stayed here for one night only, good facilities, quiet location in nice grounds but fairly central to the city. ended up arranging a late check-out and staff were very accommodating and flexible. friendly hotel staff, comfy bed, would recommend; good value for money.

Kenwood hall hoteli is idealy situated for easy access to sheffield city centre and is relatively easy to locate. The hotel and grounds are very good and service is friendly and efficint . Some of the rooms need redecoating and the sauna was out of order . Overall a good 4 star ... I would definately stay again . comfortable rooms in lovely surroundings. We made use of the Library for our meeting and enjoyed the view of the lake .The restaurant served an excellent reasonably priced evening meal for ten of us.

Nice clean hotel. Good facilities, and good breakfast.

I regularly stay in this hotel and always find it welcoming and great value. The rooms are clean, the breakfast excellent and the facilities good. Although a little out of town there are good restaurants within a 15 minute walk. Definitely one to recommend!

Lovely hotel, fantastic leisure facilities, superb breakfast, excellent evening meal. only negative point was that we waited 20 minutes from being seated at our table for dinner and given the menu to peruse, to the waitress taking our drink and food order. otherwise a perfect stay.

Stayed here for 2 nights while visiting our daughter at Sheffield university. Got a good pay in advance deal through Hotels.com. Was a short drive to her accommodation, the many cafes and restaurants on the Ecclesall rd and the Botanical gardens. Our double room, in the older part of the hotel, l was huge and very comfortable,( if in need of updating). […] It felt like we were staying in a country house! Our sons had a twin room in a more modern part of the hotel, which was more of a standard room size and they could have been staying in any hotel chain. The gardens were lovely, and had we had breakfast at the hotel, we would have had a lovely view down to the lake.(As it was we met our daughter for a great breakfast in an Italian cafe on the Ecclesall rd!) อ่านเพิ่มเติม

Stayed here with my partner, very enjoyable. Very beautiful groudns with a lake and well maintained gardens. Also there is a leisure club where you can enjoy a sauna, steam room and a hot tub also of course with a pool. Free room service with a tv with sky channels. I visit Sheffield a couple of times a year and always stay at Kenwood Hall. I wouldn't even consider any other hotel.

My second visit to Kenwood Hall. This time, I had a room in the old building. It was a bit of a trek to get there, but had lovely views over the gardens and surrounding area. I still havent had a chance to try the gym and pool, but it looks very nice. It remains in my top three hotels in this area.

We had a little difficulty finding the hotel as it is in a quiet residential area about 15 minutes walk from the City Centre but it was worth the very small inconvenience. On arrival the reception was fast and efficient and when we opened the door to our room we were pleasantly surprised by the size of the room. I think that two older rooms had been […] through to make one large one. The first evening the shower was great, plenty of heat and plenty of power but the following morning it was cold. When we informed reception they said they would get a staff member to the boiler room to check it out immediately but it was still cold half an hour later and we had to leave without a shower. Subsequent showers were just about acceptable but could have been hotter. When the laundry was changed there was only one towel left in the room that was clearly occupied by two people, on phoning reception we were told someone would be along with another which never arrived. On phoning again we were told they had forgotten which room had called and the towel then arrived fairly quickly. Having two comfortable armchairs provided made a nice change The hotel is very quiet, there is a gym, pool and spa bath available to guests. We can’t comment on the food as we ate out. Overall good. Staff friendly and helpful. Lovely surroundings. Would benefit from a soft refurb for paint, decor as it's a little dated in areas.

This was our second stay at this hotel - most memorable because on both occasions we watched England win at rugby! Convenient location for us - close enough to the city centre without being too urban. Plenty of beautiful garden scenery but parking in hotel carpark very limited - especially when they have two wedding receptions! There was a very loud and very annoying water pipe noise in the bathroom which happened every minute or two and continued through the night, making it difficult to sleep. The receptionist cheerfully agreed in the morning that there was a problem and that they knew about it. A hotel should first and foremost be somewhere one can sleep!!!!! Disappointing for a 4 star hotel. Dinner menu and quality poor.

Recently stayed for a weekend to celebrate a 50th Birthday party staff very helpful and all arrangements made were met. The rooms were comfortable 3 singles for our party but they had seen better days particularly the bathrooms. The hotel was full however with three wedding parties overall would use it again if needed to be in the area.

When I booked through Hotels.com I was told my room would have a garden view. When I arrived at my room, all I could see out of the window was a fairly close up view of a bank of trees and a little bit of grass. I was moved to another room which had a beautiful view, unfortunately the TV wasn't working properly and I could only get BBC1 and channel […] 5 apart from Sky news and sports 1, 2 and 3. Nice and quiet location. Decent pubs nearby thankfully as the hotel bar has the typical dire beer/lager options. Room was ok located in the old part of the hotel however on arrival there was only 1 dirty cup in the bedroom - a double for 2 people had been booked, and when requesting replacement cups we were told to ask at the bar and take up our own […] cups, service most definitely lacking here! Shower in the room was very temperamental and was always a challenge to get a decent shower. TV was not working properly for the 2 nights that we stayed. Swimming pool is a kidney shaped pool but you really can't swim in it as it is very small - 3/4 people definitely a crowd! The room was a good size with a very big bed which was very comfortable. The only downside was the walk from reception to yhe room as we were in the furthest room from reception (605 i think). The breakfast is a buffet breakfast so you can have what you want and how much/little you want. The grounds the hotel is situated in are lovely and the ducks […] come all the way from the pond to the hotel and are used to people. We spent all day in Kenwood Hall/Kenwood Suite for a friends wedding and the service from staff was excellent. To say it is only 10 minutes from the city centre you wouldnt guess it from being in the grounds. Excellent location with free parking. Friendly, helpful staff. Lovely gardens.Coffee and breakfast not the best, but good value overall. Pleasant pool.

ticks all the boxes except having booked it to use the gym etc , the steam room and sauna were 'under repair' and the hot tub was underwhelming , otherwise , quiet comfortable and spacious with decent bar service breakfast , good gym pool ,grounds , location

Service at resurant a bit off. Arrived at 8.30 and restaurant closed at 9 but reception didn't inform me to book a table. At restaurant they didn't think they could fit me in as they were full, but eventually they came round. However the rest of the experience was great. The hotel is large, we had a long walk to the back of the hotel and a walk up a flight of stairs (no lift to this part) to reach our room. That said the room was large, comfortable and clean but the bathroom was begining to show it's age. Overall good value.

Lovely hotel with stunning grounds - quite a walk to the centre of Sheffield which we wern't impressed with unfortunately although Meadowhall Shopping on the outskirts of the city was fab (with free parking).
